I contemplated sharing this with the management but realized they would have already made these changes if they cared about their property. The exterior is grossly littered with cigarette butts and debris. An easy fix. Sweep it up. I always take my shoes off upon entry, found my feet were black from the existing filth from my motel room floor with someone’s hair stuck on the bottom. Shower barely works due to the almost inoperable shower knob on the faucet. Two towels that barely covered my head and weirdly not absorbent. Huge gap under door and locking mechanism is not working well. Baseboards were dirty. Microwave & Fridge were a nice touch. Sheets were soft. Toilet seat had permanent scratches or stains..Come on, replace this stuff. It’s super easy. Clean properly..Again very easy to do. Then it could be my mistake but both nights in the morning and evening the loud conversation that sounded exactly like management was intrusive and inconsiderate. If you live at your motel then you know your guests need peace and quiet to sleep. Not that complicated to grasp. Unless you don’t care. Was hoping for a dip in the pool. Always a red flag when they show you nice pool photos and it’s covered and surrounded by junk.. probably hasn’t been useable for years.. misrepresentation all around. Do Better!

Would have been great if they had a washer and dryer to use and didn't charge for ice. Kinda ridiculous

The shower water trickles barely comes out you don’t have hot water in the shower. It’s only warm the tub ring was super dirty. The ice container is super dirty. Window blinds are dirty AC super dirty and it doesn’t blow on high only on low which is ridiculous. The manager says that that’s how it’s supposed to be which is nonsense. I’ve been to plenty of hotels and you can put it higher low. It stays at one level, which is low And doesn’t really cool. The room is much They charge you $.50 for ice which is ridiculous i’ve never been to a hotel where they charge for ice. The towels are super rough. You can’t wipe your face or your body because you feel like a towel scratching you. I was so lucky I provided my own. I guess if you want to slump hotel, you can get one here!

Staff is very friendly and the property is convenient. The AC was super noisy though. Woke us up every time it turned on. Other than that, the bed was comfortable.

It met my needs for a short stay a few nitpicking things. The big thing was that the TV disconnected from the router and I had barely any reception to watch any TV. The cleaners varied on my first day there were some strand hairs on the towels and on the bed. Some dirt built up on the corner of the shower but I didn’t worry too much about that. It was great coming back to see housekeeping being done, my bed has been made and I got new towels so it all worked out.

95 degrees and pool is broken - checked out immediately

Very Clean, but not enough parking for every guest. Needs “SEVERE” Remodeling!

The staff was unfriendly. There was a crackhead moving out of a unit, cussing and screaming for hours. The pool was unusable. Worst of all, the sewer was backed up and the smell was horrendous. We weren’t able to use the water to shower or brush our teeth.

The property was good and clean the only thing is they don't have cofe maker in the room..

This is a good place. People are good and friendly. Location is good. The room was cleaned. The bathroom was never cleaned. There is a mildew in the room and in the bathroom.

This place was absolutely gross. There were poop stains on the sheets and on the new sheets we requested. Hair all over the room and bathroom as well as the sink being clogged. We left earlier than planned and had to find a new place to sleep because it was so gross. They wouldn't give us a full refund either .

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at and I've stayed in a fair number of hotels. The room was extremely dirty; floor hadn't been cleaned, tv had marks all over it, walls were filthy, pee and hairs on the toilet, there were hairs on the bed when I pulled back the sheets for the first time. The towels were filthy - I had to go and ask for more towels, dirty and black filth on them, never seen anything like this, it was not fit for human use, it looked as though someone had used them for working on their car. The room smelled of urine, the heater didn't work very well. There is liquid runs of "something" over the mirror. When I arrived there was a random woman sitting on a chair in the parking lot, not sure what she was doing, didn't give the feeling of being in a safe place that's for sure. The continental breakfast did not exist - went down at 7:45am and there was nothing there. DO NOT STAY HERE, you will regret it.

Room was absolutely disgusting. Hair on pillows, literal termites falling out of the lights and coming up through the drains, ceiling is sinking from water rot and could kill someone. Found some random baby clothes tucked behind the bed? Thought maybe the other reviews were over exaggerating. Nope. Absolutely filthy, do not stay here.

It was just the fact that the pictures online was very deceiving cuz once I checked into the room there was a lot of things that was dirty the shower especially had hair the towels seem to be extra old the bed was not properly cleaned.

Smelled like mold, dirty.

To start my stay we had a small, dirty washrag outside in front of the door had a leftover hanging belt in the closet hairs inside of the shower drain not to mention the shower itself did not train and paddled up while taking a shower.

There was blood on the bathroom door… hair in the shower. The light inside the bathroom did not come on. The dirty floor and blood made me question the cleanliness of the room and I slept in the chair.. wrapped in my clothes I brought to keep warm.

Basic hotel close to Pasadena town centre. Had parking available. Breakfast was included but a bit of a joke (coffee and old looking mini muffins available in reception). Microwave in room although mine didn’t look as though it had been cleaned in a while. Shower was a nightmare, it was scolding hot or freezing cold, nothing in between. Owners are friendly. Was convenient for what I needed.

The outside of the place doesn’t look all that but once you enter your room it looks great!! Just like photos! Very clean, roomy, comfy bed, could use fluffier pillows tho. But overall we had a great stay!

Hard to make the cost to value equation. I would expect better for the cost, but it was the tourist day of the year. Surprisingly, the bedding was way better than I had been experience in at Courtyards or Hampton Inns. The pillows were firm as was the mattress. What I would comment on poor upkeep was the giant gap and lack of a door sweep at the door and threshold. More than enough to allow for cold air and sunlight to enter. A small iguana could have gotten through that opening

Like my previous visit, the bed and pillows are very old and hard. Very uncomfortable. I brought my own bedsheets learning from my past experience. The mattress cover was stained and dirty. Who knows when was the last time it was washed. The chairs were very very very old. I cannot even sit on it. As usual the motel does not provide tissue papers. I was not able to cancel my reservation that’s why I stay here for the second time. The motel also asks for a security deposit even the booking was paid off. WHY IS THAT ???

Place is nice, clean, quiet, unfortunately the room I got had an issue with the shower, half of water came from the faucet and half the water came on the shower and only hot water no cold water which was inconvenient, also there is a strong smell that canw out of the sink whenever was used. And lastly the deposit of $50 was charged on my credit card when I checked out it wasn't return. I didn't see the front desk guy do the return on my card therefore i will report the charge as fraudulent to my bank.

There was a fridge and microwave but no coffee maker or anything like that. Our key card stopped working 3x. The TV remote was broken but they did replace it. We let them know if we could be on the bottom floor just so we don't have to hear anyone and if we can just be in a room that's not having anyone above us and unfortunately they put someone above us and we could hear this person up at 5 AM stomping around, but maybe it was just basic walking around, but we could just clearly hear cause the floors are really thin. We looked at the hotel room. It did have a distinctive smell inside and when we turned on the AC, it had an even weirder smell. There was light like holes in the walls as well as small punctures throughout the room. It wasn't so much dirty, but I definitely feel like the maids. Don't really wipe down the restrooms that well and then there was kind of just like dust behind the beds, behind counters. What side was that? We also didn't get the turndown service from the maids when we got back to the hotel room around 1-2. Honestly, we were supposed to stay three nights, but we ended up leaving early cause I just didn't really feel comfortable inside. Also, the whole area around was sketchy. There was people smoking cigarettes and yelling at the kids, didn't really feel safe with my 11 yr old daughter. Also, when it says free breakfast, we actually thought there would be a breakfast, but it was just expired Bruised fruit, weird tasting oj, & nasty coffee.

Was disappointed, the photos did not match with what was there. As well as the beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

The front desk agent made it a point to mention over 5-6 times the room was non-smoking. I assured him there would be no smoking in the room and he still insisted to tell me "if you smoke, please smoke outside or we will charge you" At first i attributed this to him just doing his job...it wasn't until checking out and seeing the same front desk person checking a woman into her room...not ONCE did he mention to her about smoking in the room. Now i understand, his deliberate and intentional messages about smoking in the room were reserved for african american male guests, such as myself. With all that said, thats not even scratching the surface of the issue at hand. The room reserved for my stay was FILTHY. Stains on the comforter as well as all throughout the sheets, stains on the toilet (that wiped off with toilet paper), cracks and uneven floor boards, dust/dirt build-up in the AC/Heating unit, gnats flying around in the bathroom, just an awful experience all around. I expressed to the front desk agent the issues with the room, he asked "why didn't you report it after check-in" i explained to him i honestly wasn't expecting much from a 2 star hotel...and that if this was the quality of room he's checking guests into, i SERIOUSLY DOUBT the other rooms were any better. I honestly could've saved my money, and slept in my car for the level of comfort provided here.

For the price in Pasadena, the room I stayed in was spacious, clean on top of microwave and a fridge. The manager is friendly, very understanding that he let me borrow his screw driver so I could replace my car battery. The location is close to freeway, coin laundry, grocery markets and main restaurants. It's hard to find an affordable place like this in Pasadena. I would come back here when I visit the area again forsure

The owners and the staff are very nice, and they don't mind working with you.

The people were rude, the room was disgusting they never cleaned it and when we mentioned it they told us we can leave and go else where or deal with it.

Front desk agent was very polite and rooms were cleaned.

The owner didn't go give me my complete security deposit of $100 and also double charged my debit card that's on file ending in 6728

I stay here once a month to visit family and every time I do it’s a pleasant experience! The staff is very nice and efficient. They get you to your room quickly with no hassle. The rooms are in great condition and some of them are newly renovated and look great as well! The location is In a very nice part of Pasadena which always makes me feel good about booking here. Would recommend for anyone who needs a nice place to stay for a great price!

La Casa Inn is affordable, clean, safe, and in a great spot in LA. I couldn’t find information on the breakfast time anywhere so for those wondering breakfast is served from 7-9am. I would return to La Casa Inn for my next LA stay!

No tissue paper, no cups in the room. Very low low quality materials. Breakfast ?? Coffee maker did not produce/brew, if it did, it was about 10ml very bitter coffee only after 30minutes of waiting to brew. Muffins and pastry were old, hard as a rock !!! Bitter offee, muffin and slices of pastry: they call it BREAKFAST !! And they require a deposit even it’s been paid on line ?? SO CHEAP!!!!!

It is a 2 star hotel so my expectations were not high, had a weekend stay for rosebowl, there’s no breakfast, got what I wanted and expected for my short stay here.

They offer breakfast there was only coffee with some bread they were stale

The price of this hotel was very modest, and you get what you pay for. The advertised breakfast is luke warm coffee and plain doughnuts, over at 9:00. The beds are lumpy. The shower stall needs scrubbing. The neighbors are noisy.

Average hotel. Not very clean, stains in the bathroom and quite old worn-out equipment. Available ‘breakfast’ means coffee, stale donuts, apple and banana .....
