Pretty soft furnishings made our room more homely and cosy. The kitchen had closed for the evening by the time we got downstairs but the waitress asked the chef if it would be ok to make us food, which was terribly kind. We had a problem with the shower head which got fixed asap

Very good experience overall (courteous service, pleasant restaurant/bar) but the mattress was very uncomfortable and the type of mattress needs to be upgraded. But overall happy to stay here again in the future.

Nice and clean room, heating makes lot of noise in the early morning. A larger place for putting toilet cases above the sink would be nice.

My stars go to the cleaning staff. Owner gets less stars than that because they, like other comments have stated on here and google, does not care about your stay. They are curt and focus on their computer screens most of the time. I like the town it was in. Now to my 1 star, yeah. Don’t book the budget rooms here. There’s no fresh air because your room just opens up into a hallway. That’s right. The hallway. No fresh air, it feels inhumane. I’ve had folks walk past my open “window” and just look inside. You either suffer from no air (no a/c) or no privacy. At night it was truly miserable. I have to close the hallway window at night due to privacy issues, anyone can just enter my room if I don’t close it. It was hot and extremely dry every single evening. I couldn’t wait to leave, I’m happy now.
