Red Carpet Inn (formerly Royal Inn)

Absolutely hands down the worst customer service of any hotel ive stayed at in 45 years. Extremely rude counter lady. Refused to give me an extra towel for the floor so we wouldn't slip on the slick ceramic....said 2 guests get 2 towels period...said noone slips on the floor. While i waited the lady in front of me was quoted double what her reservation said. She had to show her to prove it and still wouldnt honor that price only lowered it a little bit. While unloading the truck another guest was locked out of his room while an old Indian man tried for an hour and a half to break in his room before he finally got it open. He wasn't offered any compensation he just finally gave in because it was already late and needed to get some sleep before he returned to the festival to work in the morning. Refused to give me the internet password. Hot water temp so close to Luke warm it wasnt usable. Batteries were dead in the TV remote. 1 light didnt work between the beds and the one over table didnt work because it wasnt plugged in because there was no available plug. No extra outlets anywhere to charge phones. AC made the most horrible noise everytime it kicked off and on. Musty smell. Old carpet. The mattress rocked if you sat on side of the bed. Vagrants all over the parking lot and 4 city police near office dealing with an issue with one of them. We got there way to late to try to go anywhere else. Bed was at least semi comfortable.

A few of the lights were out, so it was very dark. Light in the bathroom connected to the light outside the bathroom, so i had to use the bathroom in the dark when my kid was sleeping. No housekeeping was a little annoying. Best for just a one night stay. I was there for several
