Nice hotel. Probably a little too cool for me but it is well located, rooms are a good size, staff are good and room service efficient. No complaints really. The only minor thing is that they do not have a gym. You do get access to a Fitness First nearby instead but not quite the same. Overall a good stay and I would definitely book again.

The QT Hotel Sydney is excellent. Great location and a fun place to stay with excellent staff. Two very good restaurants with fantastic atmosphere. Gym is pretty basic but you have free access to the impressive Virgin Active Gym in Pitt Street mall which is only 2 minutes walk. Would definitely stay at QT again next time in Sydney.

Great position in centre of Sydney. Liked the idea of giving a $10 F&B credit for each day that you “go green” and don’t have the room serviced. More hotels should implement this .

Excellent rooms. Very quiet despite central location and busy streets below. I was on the fifth floor of the gowings building (twin room with 4 occupancy). Large bathroom with big bath twin vanity sinks. Very well stocked mini bar. Luckily we didn’t need parking as it’s very expensive and difficult to park. Highly recommended for location.

Quirky and unique atmosphere. Service at check in was courteous and friendly. Service at checkout could improve. No questions asked about how our stay was. Just a “you’re good to go”! Would have loved to feedback that the window sills need dusting and the curtains need cleaning in Room 510. During our stay, when entering the building. There was a strong smell of sewage. Wasn’t very pleasant. If your planing to stay with someone your not comfortable seeing you naked. This hotel is not for you. The door to the bathroom does not completely cover the door frame. There is a gap. The bathroom door also faces the bed.

Easy walk from the train station. Attentive and fast acting staff. Happy with the room but will note it was a little dusty. I would say that’s because the decor is dark so dust will show up easily! Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

We had a very pleasant 3-night stay at the QT Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to an executive room which was spacious and comfortable with interesting decor. Our one in-room dinner, and the lunch and afternoon tea we had in The Parlour restaurant downstairs on the ground floor, were all very enjoyable. Cleanliness of the room was good, the only problem being that water from the shower splashed out over quite a bit of the bathroom floor due to the layout of the shower area. The shower itself worked very well, and it was good having two separate hand basins. We would definitely like to stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Staff from at Gowings were incredible. There was a stand out though, I think his name was Jackson. Very knowledgeable, great humour and made us feel at home. Our only issues were with the room. Our towels were stained, the fridge had a strong odour and also had an open carton of milk in there.

Great location nestled in the State Theatre in the heart of the city. Arriving a little early to room not ready wasn’t a good start, nor was not getting a call back by the receptionist who promised to call us when our room was ready. Unusual entry with reception on Level 1 and then having to carry bags up into another level of the building which was part of the original Gowings Building. The room was well presented and comfortable enough for a weekend stay however the cleaning left a lot to be desired with dirty glasses, dirty gowns and a fridge left open with all the contents hot. Also a saggy left side bed made it uncomfortable to sleep well each night. Overall this didn’t detract from us having a wonderful weekend in our home city so 4 stars is a very generous rating.

A very funky revamp with truly quirky features; the designer has fun! Whilst I've given a 4 out of 5 there were a few issues - those controllable were addressed - which I appreciated. Big thanks to the 2 duty managers for doing so: the wet carpet smelling room and the inclusive feather pillows. My expectations were exceeded by these two. Appreciated: Room upgrade, Choice of eating venues,/ Delicious room service menu (the nourish bowl was amazingly fresh), sustainable credit for forgoing room clean, super comfortable bed and light switch that didn't require leaving bed to turn off lights, movie selection. Suggestions: mini bar price list, some cutlery, facility for better lighting in rooms should it be required.

Great location, fun vibe... but I found my room to be incredibly dusty; with obvious dust in wine glasses, on curtains, in the glass light cabinets. The bed was super squeaky. I stayed here 5 years ago and thought it was fantastic- this time I felt it needed some open windows and a good scrub. Bring some antihistamines!

The hotel location is awesome, and the staff was great. The room itself was very nice, but the bathroom setup was crazy. The shower had no door, which we’ve experienced at similarly designed hotels, but it does make it rather chilly and the bathroom floor gets absolutely drenched with the way the water flows out of the shower. Besides that flaw and having to dodge giant puddles after showers, we enjoyed our stay. I’d still recommend it :)

Very nice location, close to lots of shops and restaurants and an easy walk to any CBD location. The entrance is a bit strange since it goes through a restaurant. Room is spacious and well annointed.

The room was unique and comfortable, but the open bathroom concept means you should be comfortable with the people you are staying with, or you soon will be. The shower and bath were fantastic. Bed was decent, not too hard or too soft. The room layout was a bit funny and didnt have the easiest suitcase or clothing storage options. The mini bar had lots of options, though I would expect them to be quite pricy, as the restaurant was quite overpriced, but on par with the Sydney CBD. The overall hotel vibe is very funky and fun, chique and fashionable, certainly makes you feel cool as you make your way through it. The reception staff were very freindly and were happy to give us great city recomendations and held our luggage even after checking out while we waited for our evening flight. The location was perfect, central to everything and two blocks from the St. James train station. Would happily stay there again!

We stayed just one night. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly attentive and ever present.. room was lovely..beautifully appointed .. loved the Dyson hair-dryer.. my only criticism is that it was very dark. Even the bathroom lighting was very low making doing make up a bit of a challenge.. but otherwise would definitely recommend. Would absolutely visit again.. the Parlour restaurant was lovely. Food and service was perfect..

Charming boutique hotel right in the middle of downtown Sydney. The restaurant on the ground floor was great! We had a really nice room - unusual layout. The staff at check-in was superb, accommodating our request for a quiet room and an earlier check-in due to an early arrival. The hotel is an historic structure creatively redone. Perfect location in the CBD - steps from the light rail service to the quays where the Opera House is situated, across the street from the historic Queen Victoria Building shopping arcade and easily walkable distances to many other sites and lovely parks. Everyone on staff was attentive to every need as well as being knowledgeable about the city.

Great location nestled in the State Theatre in the heart of the city. Arriving a little early to room not ready wasn’t a good start, nor was not getting a call back by the receptionist who promised to call us when our room was ready. Unusual entry with reception on Level 1 and then having to carry bags up into another level of the building which was part of the original Gowings Building. The room was well presented and comfortable enough for a weekend stay however the cleaning left a lot to be desired with dirty glasses, dirty gowns and a fridge left open with all the contents hot. Also a saggy left side bed made it uncomfortable to sleep well each night. Overall this didn’t detract from us having a wonderful weekend in our home city so 4 stars is a very generous rating.

QT Sydney was a great find for us , a little hidden but a perfect location ( we wanted centre of the city for shopping , cafes & atmosphere) From the minute we arrived staff were fantastic , we were very early & just wanted to leave our bags - no problem at all. Super friendly , cheerful & very professional, called & advised us as soon room was ready which was excellent. The room was large well organised , very very comfy bed & everything you needed was supplied . Great bathroom too , large with lots of space . Our stay was perfect and we shopped , raced around the city & had a great time . Staff were so so helpful . We will definitely stay here again , a great hotel - highly recommend .

QT is in the perfect spot to enjoy the city - very close to shopping, bars and restaurants and Darling Harbour. It’s also on the light rail line. The hotel is cool, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and Gowings Barbis a top place to hang out. Loved it!

Very nice location, close to lots of shops and restaurants and an easy walk to any CBD location. The entrance is a bit strange since it goes through a restaurant. Room is spacious and well annointed.

Excellent rooms. Very quiet despite central location and busy streets below. I was on the fifth floor of the gowings building (twin room with 4 occupancy). Large bathroom with big bath twin vanity sinks. Very well stocked mini bar. Luckily we didn’t need parking as it’s very expensive and difficult to park. Highly recommended for location.

We had a very pleasant 3-night stay at the QT Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to an executive room which was spacious and comfortable with interesting decor. Our one in-room dinner, and the lunch and afternoon tea we had in The Parlour restaurant downstairs on the ground floor, were all very enjoyable. Cleanliness of the room was good, the only problem being that water from the shower splashed out over quite a bit of the bathroom floor due to the layout of the shower area. The shower itself worked very well, and it was good having two separate hand basins. We would definitely like to stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Our room was comfortable, quiet and had a pleasant and interesting decor. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom spacious but could have benefitted from a stronger exhaust fan. The Gowings restaurant provided delicious food (if a bit expensive), and The Parlour downstairs at street level was a good place for coffee and pastries etc. The central Sydney city location was ideal for shopping, theatres, & cultural venues.

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous, quirky hotel. The staff were amazing and so accommodating and friendly. We had breakfast at the parlour which was flawless and the staff were wonderful. The food was excellent with great coffee. The location cannot be beat. Perfect for walking to Darling Harbour, circular quay and right in the heart of shopping. We will be back. (The nespresso machine and milk frother in the room along with the Dyson hairdryer was an amazing bonus)

QT hotel was amazing! Close to everything you need in Sydney CBD . The staff were so lovely. I felt so comfortable there. My room was gorgeous and I love all the funky touches. It’s a cool vibe and the coffee downstairs at GOWLINGS is delicious.
