The hotel is situated in the center of Rome, it’s a small boutique hotel by US standards. It’s a little difficult to get to because cars cannot drive up to the front door. However, the front desk staff especially, Samanta, was exceptional. She is helpful, extremely accommodating, great disposition, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Definitely recommend.

The hotel was very clean and nice. We did wish the front desk were staffed for more hours but it was fine. The hotel is in a nice building and a good area very near a taxi stand so that was terrific. Taxis in Rome can be an issue and they can't just stop anywhere they want so with all of our luggage the taxi stand being nearby was very helpful. For being a busy area with all of the shopping nearby it was very quiet at night so that was lovely. Air conditioning worked. We did have to ask for towels and toilet tissue but that's being particular. All in all a lovely place to stay. Note that even though they have an elevator you still have to navigate a few stairs to get to it and it is very small. The bench in the elevator folds up to provide more space though.

For 3 nights our stay was really good! The room was smaller than we expected but still nice. Breakfast was great and the lady serving was lovely! Offered scrambled eggs and cappuccinos every morning which was amazing. This is a boutique hotel so it’s only on one floor of the building but instructions to get in were easy to follow! We did think the sauna / spa was a free option however we found out it costed €50+. The area of the hotel was amazing and had so much shopping and food options around! Really central!

Great location. A few maintenance issues in room, no spa which didn’t say on advertisement. Life broke a couple of days into the holiday. Bathroom needed to be thoroughly cleaned.

Top Lage! Minimaler Nachteil der aber aufgrund der Lage wieder wett gemacht wird. Es ist ein schönes Zimmer mit kleinen Frühstücksraum. Eine Hotelbar wo man vielleicht gerne als Abschluss noch ein Getränk hätte gibt es leider nicht.

The sink basin was cracked the light fittings were bent on the wall, the headboard was damaged, the table had a broken glass top. The pipes were also noisy. Filthy under the bed. There are no common areas to use. But it is central.

En dejlig oplevelse - en uges ferie med god service fra personalet + god og anderledes, men ikke specielt sund morgenmad (masser af kage!). Ro og fred, vidunderlig beliggenhed. Eneste minus var, at spa'en ikke virkede.

Posizione strategica in un edificio storico e per questo, forse, gli spazi comuni sembrano un po’ angusti. Camera spaziosa e molto ben arredata, molto apprezzata la possibilità di fare il caffè in camera e l’acqua in bottiglia a disposizione. Unico piccolo neo forse la pulizia: ho trovato il vetro della doccia non proprio trasparente e dell’acqua stantia nel bollitore che probabilmente non è stato nemmeno guardato al cambio degli ospiti. Ragazzi della reception molto cortesi e disponibili.

The friendliness and service were top at this hotel. Our room for 4 people was wonderful, stylish and it was wonderfully quiet to sleep there. The location in the heart of Rome was great. It was easy to walk in every direction (30 minutes to each attraction). The room was not completely spotless, but the overall appearance was very clean. It was a plus that we could open the window so we could ventilate the room of the humidity that the heating did not remove. The hotel had its own "water bar" where you could fill your drink bottles (or the glass bottles provided by the hotel) and if you wanted, take some ice. The extra bed on the sofa was not comfortable. We would have liked a mattress pad or blanket for the hard and slippery leather sofa, (there was just a sheet).

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut. Sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Insbesondere das Bad hat eine Grundreinigung nötig. Leider haben wir Zahnseide und Haare der vorherigen Gäste vorgefunden. Im Schlafzimmer war es staubig. Der Service an der Rezeption war gut. Die Damen und Herren sind sehr hilfsbereit und hatten gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Insgesamt ist das Hotel zu empfehlen, wenn man nicht sehr zimperlich ist.

We had a very good stay here! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with everything. The hotel's location is great and surrounded by a bunch of shopping destinations. The room itself was nice, but a bit small. We thought we paid for a slightly bigger room than we got, so the size of the room was a bit surprising at first. Also, we did get our room cleaned but they did not give us towels or clean certain areas. However, our stay here was mostly positive and we would recommend staying here! Its a great location.

Das Hotel liegt an Top-Lage mitten im belebten Zentrum an der Einkaufsstrasse. Rundherum gibt es viele gute Restaurants und man fühlt sich auch abends sehr sicher. Das Frühstück war gut und der Service ebenfalls. Die Zimmer sind modern und schön eingerichtet. Leider lässt aber die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig…Matratzen fleckig, Dusche schimmlig und riecht entsprechend. Regenwald-Duschkopf war so verkalkt, dass nur spärlich Wasser durch kam. Da gäbe es noch grosses Verbesserungspotenzial.

The water pressure was so low that we could not get wet even we went into the shower We complained about it the first day and they had someone to look at it but it not improve at all We could count the drops from the shower and is was a disaster 5 days without a shower - and no support to improve it Finally the pictures at the page did not fit to reality. If we look at the homepage we see pictures with a coat and good space but in reality we had a room of 3 x 5 meteres with a bed and 1 meter free for luggage Very bad experience- sorry but it does not fit to the pricing they want… We could get luxury for a few euro more other places - so can NOT recommend this to anyone at sll

This is a beautiful location. Our room looked out onto a beautiful church and the main street. This has positives and negatives. You will hear a lot of city noise all night long, If you are used to that kind of thing it's no problem. It's close to many beautiful things to see in Rome within walking distance. Definitely worth getting the breakfast. They put out a beautiful spread and beautiful service. I know everybody is used to their own bed at home, but the beds here felt very very hard to me. The rooms were clean and beautiful.

The room was very clean, nicely decorated, small (tight for 2), and overlooked the Main Street Via del Corso. It was extremely loud at night. We used white noise in order to drown out the crowd, cars, garbage, etc. It is centrally located and the checkin and checkout process was very easy.

Property was lovely. Very basic and clean. The staff were amazing and so helpful. I enjoyed my stay. The only element that lets it down is the quality of the WIFI was absolutely terrible. It was very difficult to get connection.

The trip started well, the messaging and information provided beforehand was very good. The welcome at reception was also good. But, we booked a superior double and were given a standard double. The bed was as hard as sleeping on the floor - if you slept too long on one side you’d be paralysed in the morning! The air conditioning stopped working after the first night of a three night stay and was no longer available. The TV didn’t work and the noise from the street outside was at times deafening from early in the morning until late then sporadically through the night.

The staff and location of Relais de la Posta were impeccable. The breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options, including hot chocolate for our kids each morning. The front desk team were incredibly helpful in every way. The rooms were roomy and very clean. The hotel is located in a prime spot, with loads of shopping and Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di by Spagna within a 5 minute walk. You can’t miss booking this hotel!

The property itself was nice. There were no instructions given on how to get into the building, and we saw two other families struggling to get ahold of anyone to get their rooms. The issue came when the hotel lost power completely. After 8 hours without power, we gave up and booked another hotel. No other buildings that we could see had lost power. It was 97 degrees and we left at 7 for another hotel because we were flying out the next day and needed to be able to charge our phones for alarms/ride pick up/etc. They would not refund any amount of the stay, even though the room was unlivable. It is in a very convenient location.
The property itself was nice. There were no instructions given on how to get into the building, and we saw two other families struggling to get ahold of anyone to get their rooms. The issue came when the hotel lost power completely. After 8 hours without power, we gave up and booked another hotel. No other buildings that we could see had lost power. It was 97 degrees and we left at 7 for another hotel because we were flying out the next day and needed to be able to charge our phones for alarms/ride pick up/etc. They would not refund any amount of the stay, even though the room was unlivable. It is in a very convenient location.

Had issue reaching 24/7 concierge for an emergency. Left key in room and were unable to get in at 11:00PM took almost two hours for a response. This could have been avoided however if something more serious occurred there is no one to reach.

This hotel has an incredible location and very easy access to the Metro station, and everything is very walkable. However, I won't stay there again because no one is there to help after 10 pm; the process of opening the main door of the building and the hotel floor is very complicated. The room is very hot despite turning on the air conditioning at the coolest. The many steps make the corridors very narrow and difficult to move your luggage. Therefore it is definitely not an accessible hotel. The room has no view, just the back of the building; nothing exciting about staying there except the fantastic location.

The hotel is situated in the center of Rome, it’s a small boutique hotel by US standards. It’s a little difficult to get to because cars cannot drive up to the front door. However, the front desk staff especially, Samanta, was exceptional. She is helpful, extremely accommodating, great disposition, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Staff was amazing! Sami provided excellent directions on how to make it to the hotel. The staff tried to accommodate me in every way possible. My room was clean and had everything I needed except an iron. The location is perfection! 3 min walk to the Spanish steps, 9 min walk to the Trevi Fountain and it’s in the middle of all the designer shops and the best restaurants. Chanel, Dior, LV, YSL, Fendi, Diesel etc….all a 5 min walk or less.

Only a limited number of rooms so no full-service reception (limited hours of operation) but we got clear and responsive emails which allowed for alternate access to the property when the reception is closed. The hotel is very convenient for all major sites in Rome. The staff was super helpful with advice and gave very detailed direction making it easy to reach the hotel. Only down side was that we were "treated " to concerts from several street performers that only have a repertoire of 4 or 5 songs it gets pretty old after 3 repeats.

Very convenient but on a major street which meant it was very noisy. (No fault of the hotel but they were doing road construction outside our window at 11pm ). Lots of stairs but had a reasonable size elevator. Staff was very helpful.

This quaint hotel, in the middle of amazing shopping, and across from a beautiful basilica, did not disappoint. The hotel takes up one floor of an old building. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They made extra accommodations by letting us store luggage before our room was ready, so that we could begin exploring Rome. The old, small, but functional elevator, held our very large luggage, and helped us get it up to the hotel floor. We had a large room, which is unique for Rome, which helped us with our large luggage. The breakfast was fresh, and absolutely amazing! We highly recommend this unique, small gem of a hotel.

For 3 nights our stay was really good! The room was smaller than we expected but still nice. Breakfast was great and the lady serving was lovely! Offered scrambled eggs and cappuccinos every morning which was amazing. This is a boutique hotel so it’s only on one floor of the building but instructions to get in were easy to follow! We did think the sauna / spa was a free option however we found out it costed €50+. The area of the hotel was amazing and had so much shopping and food options around! Really central!

Charming boutique hotel. It’s in an old building not far from the Tiber River and in a shopping district. The hotel itself is between a Levi’s shop and a Tommy Hillfiger. There were some restaurants conveniently located around the corner and in a trendy area. The rooms were clean and quiet. Not much of a view but the breakfast was very good and the breakfast attendant was friendly and right on top of things. Typical European breakfast, hard boiled eggs, pastries, sliced meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, a selection of breads, tomato’s and cucumber. Coffee and cappuccino, tea, juice. The attendant offered to make us scrambled eggs. We said yes. We arrived on an early flight and we needed to store our luggage which the Hotel Relais offered to do. But when we got there the elevator was not working. We were going to have to go up two flights of stairs to reception but an attendant was sent down to help us. They got the elevator working when we arrived later on to check in. I like a firm mattress but the mattress in our room was “very” uncomfortably hard. My husband did not seem to notice. No parking provided. You would need to find a space on the street or parking garage. Transportation is nearby. Taxi available 1/2 a block away. 15-20 minute walk to Vatican City. Same to Trevi Fountain. Across from St. Ambrose Church. Staff and reception were very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

Location is great walkable to most attractions, but no access with a car. Rooms were tiny and bed was uncomfortable for me. Breakfast was the same every day and it felt like the food was not fresh, fruits over ripe, salami smelled old and even pastries were not freshly baked but most likely were packaged goods from supermarket.

Customer service was top tier. Very family and welcoming. They knew we was leaving before they arrive for work and made me a box of breakfast food to take with me. Location was everything all the major attractions is within walking distance.

We booked a Superior Room with a cathedral view, but the entire cathedral façade is currently covered by scaffolding and a large restoration tarp. I understand that this is outside the hotel's control, but since the room is marketed as having a view, it would have been appreciated if guests had been informed before arrival. The bed's headboard also showed noticeable signs of wear, with several pieces peeling off. It's a minor detail, but it takes away from the overall impression of a premium room. Finally, when we arrived and took a shower, we found that the shampoo/body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. We mentioned it to the staff, and it was refilled by the time we returned later that evening, so the issue was resolved quickly. Still, for a room averaging over 250$ per night, these are details that should already be taken care of before guests check in. That said, the hotel's central location was a major advantage and made it easy to explore the city on foot. We were able to walk to most of the main attractions, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
