Mitsis Selection Alila

I hate doing this as I rarely write about a negative experience but this is NOT a 5 star resort! No AC in the main areas of the hotel, (which just sets the tone from when you walk in) followed by an extensive wait to check-in which took over an hour, limited dining as your only allowed 1 reservation per entire stay at the (as they call them 3 themed restaurants but are actually 1 space divided making it very crowded) food is mediocre for a 5 star resort, the 3 main restaurants have limited seating all outside and very crowded, limited staff around the pool and on the beach, and the absolute worst is having to wake up at 5-6am to go save seating for your family by the pool or on the beach!!! Too many decorative pools that are inaccessible make the main pool area very crowded and not enough seating. Met and spoke to about 7 different families. Everyone we met had something to complain about from check-in taking hours to not having the rooms reserved ready and placing them in other rooms. We are very positive people and made the best of it. Really enjoyed the company and conversation of the bar staff at the main outdoors bar on the main floor. Teodora, Jenny, Alex, a few others forgot their names and the lovely Josephine who works so hard around the pool and the beach! I also want to highly encourage guests to tip the staff as we sadly noticed this to not be very common at all. They work hard but there’s not enough staff for this size facility.

The property is beautiful, and the amenities are very nice. The location is fantastic, in close proximity to Rhodes, and the beaches are wonderful. However, two points to be aware of: 1) there is only one general pool for guests (in addition to the children's pool), and the other pools are not for use (display only) and 2) while there are multiple ala carte restaurants, it was nearly impossible to get reservations to any of the restaurants. We stayed for 5 nights, and were only able to secure a dinner reservation for one night, even after working with the concierge and the FBN (?) staff. While there are restaurants that do not require reservations, the menus are limited both in options and understandably quality.

Wir haben 2018 bereits einmal in diesem Hotel übernachtet und sind ein paar Jahre später erneut gekommen. Seit unserem letzten Besuch hat sich in der Hotelanlage nicht viel verändert. Die Anlage ist nach wie vor sehr ansprechend, und die Auswahl in den Themenrestaurants ist ausgezeichnet. Allerdings gibt es einige Punkte, die sich seit 2018 verschlechtert haben: Es ist nahezu unmöglich, eine Reservierung in einem der Themenrestaurants zu bekommen. Wir waren uns bewusst, dass man sich dort anmelden muss, und haben kurz nach dem Check-in versucht, eine Reservierung vorzunehmen. Leider waren die verfügbaren Zeiten oft unpraktisch. Auch die Sauberkeit der sanitären Anlagen lässt zu wünschen übrig. Das Personal kann nichts für das Verhalten der Gäste, aber es gibt viele große Gruppen, die sich am Pool und im Speiseraum aufführen, als wären sie am Futtertrog – „Säue am Trog“. Diese Gruppen blockieren zudem die Themenrestaurants. Man merkt dem Personal an, dass es mit diesen Gästen Probleme hat; einmal kam es beinahe zu Handgreiflichkeiten zwischen Gästen und dem leidtragenden Personal. Hier müsste das Hotelmanagement eingreifen, doch es wird zum großen Teil geduldet. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass sich der Preis seit 2018 beinahe verdreifacht hat, während das Leistungsverhältnis nicht mithalten kann. Das Gesamtpaket entspricht nicht mehr dem Standard eines 5-Sterne-Hotels. Ich würde es als ein gutes Familienhotel einstufen, aber man sollte bedenken, dass Kinder oft da

Absolutes Top Hotel. Sauberkeit, Qualität und Personal hervorragend. Einzig auch in Top Hotels, werden morgens um sieben Uhr die Liegen mit Handtüchern besetzt.

Very good hotel for families- great food all the time, the pool was not heated, only the kids pool was heated and only from noon. Nice shows at the evenings.

We had a good time... Lots of places to eat from. You have to make reservations in some restaurants days ahead.

Veldig flott hotell. Bra bassengområde. Kort vei til strand og solsenger og bar på stranden. Kjempe gode solsenger og aldri problem å få solsenger. Masse gode restauranter på hotellet og kjempe god crepes og is restaurant. Veldig godt utvalg i drikke, både med og uten alkohol. Og serverte drikke fra 10.00 til 01.30 hver dag. Men hoved restauranten var bare middels i kvalitet og utvalg. Hadde forventet bedre hoved restaurant på ett så dyrt all inclusive hotell. Og var ingen aktiviteter på hotellet, stod oppført i programmet, men ingen på hotellet som arrangerte det som var satt opp. Savnet animation team som aktiviserer unger og voksne. Så passer nok bedre for overnatting uten unger, vi hadde med en datter på 16 år og en sønn på 13 år som kjedet seg litt på dagtid. Enkelt å ta buss til sentrum eller Rhodos by.

Loved this hotel. Food quality very good, especially the A la carte restaurants. The champagne bar is a must before dinner. Evening entertainment every night.

Not great for families because of the pool situation. There was a salt water pool that people avoided because the water was deep and stung your eyes, there was a pool that was reserved for adults and there was a pool just for decoration. As a result most people went to the children's pool, which was always crowded. Another negative was the lack of shade.

Hotel is clean and spacious and definitely one of the best ones in Rhodes, main issue is that there is no separation from the adult only and family parties and therefore can be very noisy around the pools and buffet dining. This can be easily rectified by the management by having separate areas in the restaurant dedicated to only adults and families with young children. There is an adults only pool but in the six days we were there it was packed and no space available (despite getting up at 6am). The al la carte restaurants are definitely worth a visit as well as the Champagne bar. Entertainment is good but finishes every night promptly at 11pm there is no nightclub as advertised on Expedia.

Wow! We’ve just left Mitsis Alila after a perfect week. The hotel is immaculate and the staff go above and beyond to look after you. There is so much choice of places to eat and drink, and they haven’t compromised on quality. The pizza bar on the beach was a personal favourite. We rarely go back to the same hotel twice, but we’ll definitely be returning!

Stayed a room with private swimming pool which was large enough for a family. Very gorgeous property with friendly and professional staffs. Entire property was very well maintained with high cleanness. We visited many all inclusive resorts in the past but this was one of the best for us.

We recently stayed at the Mitsis Alila and had an overall pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean, modern, and offered plenty of storage space, which made unpacking and settling in really convenient. If you’re booking, I’d highly recommend choosing a sea view room—the views of the crystal clear water and beach are absolutely worth it. All the staff were friendly, from reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff. That said, I would say this hotel felt more like a 4-star experience overall. The main restaurant buffet could be cleaner, and the quality of some food was disappointing—most of the bread was stale, for example the gyros, crepes, and hot dogs buns. Soft drinks were also often flat. Despite that, the beautiful beach, great staff, and clean, well-equipped rooms made this a relaxing and enjoyable stay. With a few improvements to the dining and beverage service, it could easily live up to its 5-star promise.

Das Hotel ist okay aber viel zu teuer für die Leistung! Insg. aber kein 5-Sterne-Standard - eher 4-Sterne. Zu wenig Personal für viel zu viele Gäste. Das Abendessen war im wartesaalflair. Geschirr teilweise unzureichend sauber. Tischbestellungen (Getränke) teilweise falsch ausgegeben. Cocktails u. Softgetränke schmecken billig. Umständliche Reservierungen für die zusätzlichen Restaurants - auch hier zu wenig Kapazität. Zu kleiner Pool für dieses riesige Hotel und zu kaltes Wasser. Nur Salzwasserpool. Zu wenig Pool-Handtücher vorhanden. Pool-Liegen werden von allen (nicht nur Deutsche) sehr früh belegt. Die Zimmer sind hellhörig.

Tolle Anlage für alle, die Ruhe lieben. Hochwertig, liebevoll durchdesigned (von ganz unten bis ganz oben, innen und außen), Marmorboden überall und bequeme Betten. Es sind super schicke, bequeme und dick gepolsterte Liegen an den Pools und am Strand für jeden verfügbar. Keine Belegung durch Handtücher deswegen ;-) Badetücher schleppen ist nicht notwendig, da täglich frisch am Wasser zu haben. Wer sich am Strand nur wenden möchte und baden - kein Problem. Viele Strandkellner sorgen für Getränke nach Wunsch. Badeschuhe sind wirklich vorteilhaft (sehr steinig) und auch Schwimm- oder Taucherbrille. Das Wasser ist nämlich glasklar. Die Restaurants, welche im AI bereits enthalten sind - lecker. Nach dem Check-in buchen möglich. 2 waren für uns in der 1 Woche möglich, also weise wählen. Jeden Abend wechselndes Buffet, passend zu den Spezialitäten-Restaurants. Alles sauber und ordentlich und der Ausblick vom Zimmer ist grandios. Jeden Abend geschmackvolles Abendprogramm. Hübsch rausgeputzte Menschen, viel Platz zum sein, da nichts zu eng und vollgestellt, 24h Essen und Trinken. Minibar wurde mit allem und viel, täglich aufgefüllt. Cocktails, alles was das Herz begehrt - auch, was nicht auf der Karte steht… die Barkeeper lieben Herausforderungen;-) Wir waren diesmal nur 1 Woche Urlauben, konnten im Alila aber wirklich auftanken. Taxikosten sind absolut bezahlbar und lassen Busse und Sammeltransporte blass aussehen… Rundum empfehlenswert, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

We stayed at this hotel in 2019 and chose it again this year as we had previously been so impressed by it. Unfortunately standards have slipped since 2019. Service was slow in many areas and products unavailable. We were a family of 3 but our room was made up for 2. Housekeeping did come and make the bed up but we never received sufficient towels.On ordering a latte or cappuccino at breakfast it was regularly up to 20 minutes before this was served. We were always finished eating before the coffees were served. Some staff worked extremely hard but others were quite lazy. Wait times in the bar behind reception were often excessive due to a lack of staff. They claimed they couldn't always offer all drinks as they hadn't had time to stock the bar, they had been serving customers since the start of their shift. The pool bar ran out of diet coke on day 4 of our holiday and it was never replenished. The food on the buffet was actually quite limited and repetitive compared to our previous trip.We had a vomit-like substance appear in the shower so called reception to no avail. After visiting reception they sent housekeeping up to dose the shower. Housekeeping blamed us for being sick in the shower when there was quite clearly an issue with the drains. She also mopped the substance up and then used the dirty mop to clean the bathroom floor! Alila was an excellent hotel but I would now say it is between average and good. It's a 4 star hotel now

We have had a fantastic holiday at this resort. The hotel, staff and facilities are exceptional. The food is very good and the highlight was the fireworks and full moon party on our last night. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely return again.

We were a couple traveling to join friends who were staying at the same hotel with their two children. During booking, the only available option for two adults was a single mountain-view room. The photos on the hotel’s website looked decent, and being advertised as a 5-star resort, we decided to proceed with the reservation. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our room and were immediately surprised — the entrance door was so small it felt like walking into a storage cupboard. The room was located right next to the housekeeping area, which was noisy and disruptive. Inside, the room was extremely small, and the bathroom was so tiny that it was difficult to use the shower or toilet comfortably. The window was also very small, making the space feel even more cramped. It looked nothing like the photos on the website. We went to the reception to request a room change and were told that no alternative rooms were available until the next day — even though we offered to pay extra for an upgrade. When we returned to our room, we noticed that the bed sheets were not clean, which was unacceptable. We contacted the manager, who informed us that only two rooms were available: one was a disabled-access room and the other required cleaning and maintenance. We viewed both options and reluctantly chose the disabled-access room, as it was at least more space.

Wir haben das Hotel zum zweiten Mal besucht. Nichts, was im letzten Jahr kaputt war, wurde repariert. Daher sehen wir, dass sich seit einem Jahr niemand um die zerbrochenen Scheiben oder die alten und verschimmelten Dichtungen in der Dusche gekümmert hat. Auch die Handtücher waren grau und unangenehm. Das Essen hingegen war von hoher Qualität und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr sind wir jedoch etwas enttäuscht. PS: Das Personal leistet dafür großartige Arbeit!

Loved the family room with private pool

I should have had full sea view but was given partial sea view as it had brick wall and when sitting on balcony you could not see the view! I was given room 604!!! Not full sea view 😡. Also Expedia had given false info on city tax instead I had to pay 40 euro extra not what was on Expedia invoice!!!

Overall the hotel was Ana ing and we would visit again, however we were a group with 3 rooms, two of the rooms (507 and 407) would not be what you would existing a five star hotel due to its bathroom facilities. Tony bathrooms not suitable with no proper shower and no proper bath. Apart from this, the rest of the stay was perfect.

A stunning hotel with top class A La Carte restaurant options. “All inclusive” really does mean all inclusive - unlike other hotels in the market, nothing is out of bounds. The restaurants are fantastic - make sure to make your evening reservations well in advance before you arrive though. Private Pool suites are more like a swim up room (the pool isn’t completely private), but still worth every penny in my opinion. We have visited this hotel for the past 2 years and will most certainly be returning next summer.

Excellent service and amazing food. Service top notch! Biggest let down was the sofa beds for the 3rd and 4th occupant. These were not anywhere near a bed standard. They are concrete hard and the most uncomfortable place for anyone to sleep. This needs to be changed. Although adults can fit in them - I recommend this is looked into as the sore backs and necks were so bad from the lack of bed for the teens.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in questo splendido resort pieni di aspettative!bellissimo hotel personale super gentile,cibo nei ristoranti di ottima qualità ,colazione super,pranzo e cena buffet di normale qualità,intrattenimento serale ottimo Nota dolente e spiace a dirlo Camera vista montagna troppo ma troppo piccola,bagno piccolissimo e mancanza di una vera doccia!!! Nota super dolente scarsa pulizia nella camera e bagno.riferito più volte al personale della reception e mostrando anche fotografie scattate ma nulla è cambiato .avremmo preferito un upgrade ma invece ci è stato offerto una giornata uso gazebo in spiaggia. Situazione non da 5 stelle! Un vero peccato!

A really nice hotel, with a lot of delicious and various foods, but the music in the evenings was too loud and you couldn’t think of get some sleep before midnight!

Rooms - could do with more attention to detail in the decor / paint scuffs etc Service - 50:50 some interactions were excellent, some were really below expectations as of the staff didn’t want to work there and customers were a chore. But there were others that were really excellent. I’ve never been to a hotel with sich a range Facilities - excellent, couldn’t ask for more Catherine - excellent, the best of any hotel I have been to incl much more expensive locations Advice - use some of the excess space to give a better gym experience, potentially an inside:outside gym Convenience - excellent, close to airport and major attractions

The staff could not do enough for us . The customer relations lady Vitalia, the reception staff Dominika & Iris & Tsampika & Rania the bar and the porter Nestor were all professional & excellent at keeping us comfortable and making our stay the most enjoyable . The stay was excellent and the kids had a lovely time. The rooms were clean & spacious with a lovely view and minibar . Our holiday was fantastic due to the lovely hotel & welcoming & helpful staff . They were very accommodating and friendly . Fantastic staff and facilities to relax and enjoy every minute .

We had a wonderful stay at Mitsis Selection Alila.. Everything was absolutely amazing.. We were taken very good care of as soon as we arrived. Endless amount of food and drinks and the staff were fantastic.. I would definitely be visiting again and would definitely recommend this place. The rooms and facilities were top quality. I can't wait to visit again. The island on a hold is pretty spectacular.

The property is amazing but the customer services, particularly if you are a non European i.e. Black, Asian, etc, is sorely lacking. My wife and I would often be passed over when needing drinks, we were given misinformation about how to set up reservations, and we were made to feel as if we were inconveniencing the staff when we did did ask questions or had a special request. On our last day there was a really friendly woman named Eve, that was finally able to get us a dinner reservation. She also introduced us th the property manager George, who sat down with us to hear our frustrations and recommendations. This was our first time visiting Greece and the Greek people and culture, outside of the resort, was amazing. The service staff (servers, front desk, concierge, etc) are really in need of some customer service training. We will return to Greece in the next year or so but as of right now we will not be spending our money with the Mitsis Alila, unless some major changes are made in how people who are not of European decent are treated.

On first impression we were impressed but a few things lowered our experience throughout our 6-night stay. 1. When we were taken to our room I saw a cigarette in our pool, however, this was removed immediately. 2. No one seemed to have the tools to amend our a la carte restaurant booking which didn't make sense since the booking was done online, that was frustrating. 3. Was not a big fan of the pebble beach experience Lindos had a better beach experience. 4. Kids club was not very engaging, and activities were very limited. No soft play options either. 5. The staff serving food in the main restaurant was slow and unattentive and this was consistent throughout. However, there was 1 extremely helpful lady I believe she was the host who showed brilliance. 6. Not as friendly as I would have expected everyone seemed to keep to themselves. Overall not a completely terrible experience but fell short of my expectations in a major way.

This place literally feels like you’re inside a magazine. It is absolutely stunning and well kept. Customer service is top notch, we absolutely hated our room upon check in and the manager was able to change our room into a much more stunning room. Their food tasted really amazing too. What an amazing time we had

We are a family of 4 returning from a 5night stay at Mitsis Alila and had a great time. The facilities are are good and food in the al a carte restaurants were really delicious. The food at the buffet restaurant is a bit bland and boring but we were able to book the a la carte restaurants quite easily. The 1st night we were given a room near one of the adult bars which was noisy until about 2am but once we reported this to reception, they immediately changed our room and gave us a room upgrade which was really appreciated. Would definitely return here again in the future.

Fabulous hotel staff all lovely- many remembered us from last year - such a relaxing break.

Personalet var meget flinke og hjælpsomme. Conciergen var dog helt umulig. Kunne ikke vejlede os om nogle generelle turist ting. Værelset fint og rent. Den private pool dog meget slidt med mange løse mosaikker i bunden. Beliggenheden af hotellet er langt fra alt. Ikke andre restauranter i nærheden. Stranden er ikke med sand, men en sten strand. Maden var helt fin og i rigelige mængder.

The staff were so helpful especially when it came to my daughter’s dietary requirements, with plenty of choice for her. You did not have to wait for the staff to help with anything you needed. The food was of a very high standard with a great selection of restaurants. The location was wonderful with great sea views and very clean throughout. Close to Rhodes old town if you wanted to venture and also not a far transfer from the airport. Lovely entertainment on an evening. An extremely good all inclusive Hotel overall.

This was by far the best holiday we've been on. The hotel was exceptional with a variety of dining options around the resort some of which were open until 4am. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is also very close to the bus stop which os convenient for getting into town in either direction. I highly recommend this hotel it's well worth it.

Le Mitsis Alila Selection de Rhodes est un excellent lieu de vacances. Il allie hébergement, restauration et animations d’une grande qualité. Le personnel est irréprochable et très serviable. Nous avions choisi une suite présidentielle et nous n’avons pas été déçu. Entre espace intérieur de 75m2, rangements divers, aménagement stylisé et terrasse de 30m2 avec jacuzzi et transats, il est impossible de se sentir à l’étroit. La restauration est très raffinée et variée avec ses restaurants à thèmes. Tour respire la gentillesse et la générosité dans cet hôtel. Un seul point gênant qui nous a conduit à choisir les piscines plutôt que la plage, fut le sable de gravier désagréable à pratiquer pieds nus. Encore merci à tous le personnel. The Mitsis Alila Selection in Rhodes is an excellent vacation spot. It combines high quality accommodation, catering and entertainment. The staff are impeccable and very helpful. We chose a presidential suite and we were not disappointed. Between 75m2 interior space, various storage spaces, stylish layout and 30m2 terrace with jacuzzi and deckchairs, it is impossible to feel cramped. The catering is very refined and varied with its themed restaurants. All is kindness and generosity in this hotel. Only one annoying point which led us to choose the swimming pools rather than the beach was the gravel sand which was unpleasant to practice barefoot. Thanks again to all the staff.

Had an excellent week at the Alila. Friendly staff, facilities were great and clean. Various dining options but be sure to book the a la carte restaurants upon arrival as are popular. Kids didn't want to leave. Would stay here again.

Masse gode restauranter på hotellet og kjempe god crepes og is restaurant. Veldig godt utvalg i drikke, både med og uten alkohol. Og serverte drikke fra 10.00 til 01.30 hver dag. Men hoved restauranten var bare middels i kvalitet og utvalg. Hadde forventet bedre hoved restaurant på ett så dyrt all inclusive hotell. Og var ingen aktiviteter på hotellet, stod oppført i programmet, men ingen på hotellet som arrangerte det som var satt opp. Savnet animation team som aktiviserer unger og voksne. Så passer nok bedre for overnatting uten unger, vi hadde med en datter på 16 år og en sønn på 13 år som kjedet seg litt på dagtid. Enkelt å ta buss til sentrum eller Rhodos by.

Nice hotel, good condition. Very clean. Staff is overall competent. Some friendlier than others. Food was pretty good though menu somewhat limited. There were some pet peeves regarding actually being ready for service in the mornings, and bringing the rigjt coffee or tea. Drinks were good at night and the live music was a nice touch. The beach is very nice though pebbly. Make sure to have flip flops or sandals. Overall the hotel and experience was very nice. A solid 8.5 out of 10. I would have no problem returning to this hotel again.

Great atmosphere and entertainment. Enjoyed the dining experience and not far to town. But for my room and its location, I would have rated it excellent.

This is a great hotel. The location is excellent with easy transport to Rhodes town and a short(ish) walk to Faliraki. All the staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly. Nana in the greek restaurant was brilliant, as was Sofia and Daria in the Night bar. Also shout out to Nestor and Nicholas, good luck with school! Rooms were spacious and comfortable, there was always space around the pool or on the beach, I liked the free towels. The buffet food is nice, however the restaurants are incredible! We tried the Greek and Italian and would highly recommend, the pizza place on the beach was a personal favourite. Super easy to book transfers and taxis. It was also very easy to hire a car for the day. The hotel really has everything you need and we would not hesitate to book again.

Wow! We’ve just left Mitsis Alila after a perfect week. The hotel is immaculate and the staff go above and beyond to look after you. There is so much choice of places to eat and drink, and they haven’t compromised on quality. The pizza bar on the beach was a personal favourite. We rarely go back to the same hotel twice, but we’ll definitely be returning!

The best part are private pool of the room, the sea, concierge service. The food was good for alacarte restaurants and really bad for the main restaurant. The soft drinks really bad across the board. The reception service was bad, taxi situation is terrible.

The property is beautiful, and the amenities are very nice. The location is fantastic, in close proximity to Rhodes, and the beaches are wonderful. However, two points to be aware of: 1) there is only one general pool for guests (in addition to the children's pool), and the other pools are not for use (display only) and 2) while there are multiple ala carte restaurants, it was nearly impossible to get reservations to any of the restaurants. We stayed for 5 nights, and were only able to secure a dinner reservation for one night, even after working with the concierge and the FBN (?) staff. While there are restaurants that do not require reservations, the menus are limited both in options and understandably quality.

Ultra All Inclusive resort, beautifully decorated, amazing staff. The restaurants have amazing quality food. Beach is beautiful with waiter service and a fully stocked bar and they will make any drinks

Wir haben 2018 bereits einmal in diesem Hotel übernachtet und sind ein paar Jahre später erneut gekommen. Seit unserem letzten Besuch hat sich in der Hotelanlage nicht viel verändert. Die Anlage ist nach wie vor sehr ansprechend, und die Auswahl in den Themenrestaurants ist ausgezeichnet. Allerdings gibt es einige Punkte, die sich seit 2018 verschlechtert haben: Es ist nahezu unmöglich, eine Reservierung in einem der Themenrestaurants zu bekommen. Wir waren uns bewusst, dass man sich dort anmelden muss, und haben kurz nach dem Check-in versucht, eine Reservierung vorzunehmen. Leider waren die verfügbaren Zeiten oft unpraktisch. Auch die Sauberkeit der sanitären Anlagen lässt zu wünschen übrig. Das Personal kann nichts für das Verhalten der Gäste, aber es gibt viele große Gruppen, die sich am Pool und im Speiseraum aufführen, als wären sie am Futtertrog – „Säue am Trog“. Diese Gruppen blockieren zudem die Themenrestaurants. Man merkt dem Personal an, dass es mit diesen Gästen Probleme hat; einmal kam es beinahe zu Handgreiflichkeiten zwischen Gästen und dem leidtragenden Personal. Hier müsste das Hotelmanagement eingreifen, doch es wird zum großen Teil geduldet. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass sich der Preis seit 2018 beinahe verdreifacht hat, während das Leistungsverhältnis nicht mithalten kann. We recently stayed at the Mitsis Alila and had an overall pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean, modern, and offered plenty of storage space, which made unpacking and settling in really convenient. If you’re booking, I’d highly recommend choosing a sea view room—the views of the crystal clear water and beach are absolutely worth it. All the staff were friendly, from reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff. That said, I would say this hotel felt more like a 4-star experience overall. The main restaurant buffet could be cleaner, and the quality of some food was disappointing—most of the bread was stale, for example the gyros, crepes, and hot dogs buns. Soft drinks were also often flat. Despite that, the beautiful beach, great staff, and clean, well-equipped rooms made this a relaxing and enjoyable stay. With a few improvements to the dining and beverage service, it could easily live up to its 5-star promise.

We had a good time... Lots of places to eat from. You have to make reservations in some restaurants days ahead.

We have had a fantastic holiday at this resort. The hotel, staff and facilities are exceptional. The food is very good and the highlight was the fireworks and full moon party on our last night. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely return again.

We are a family of 4 returning from a 5night stay at Mitsis Alila and had a great time. The facilities are are good and food in the al a carte restaurants were really delicious. The food at the buffet restaurant is a bit bland and boring but we were able to book the a la carte restaurants quite easily. The 1st night we were given a room near one of the adult bars which was noisy until about 2am but once we reported this to reception, they immediately changed our room and gave us a room upgrade which was really appreciated. Would definitely return here again in the future.

High quality standard with a good organization which doesn’t feel being numerous. The restaurants that are to be booked are all excellent
