Hall Chiado

Very nice long-stay rooms with kitchen. The area is very nice and close to the metro and local sites. My kids and I enjoyed it very much....great rain shower head too.

Great location and luggage lockers were an added bonus.

The hotel has a kitchen close to public transportation and in the center of the city. Perfect way to explore Lissabon. With children it was great as they had a separate room but in the same apartment to us with bunk beds so it was perfect for all of us

We stayed at Hall Chiado for 5 nights and we loved it! The hotel is located in the heart of the Chiado district, only a couple of blocks away from Plaza Camoes. It was easy to catch the tram to Belem from the station 2 blocks away, also easy to join tours and catch Tram 28, which was also a couple of blocks away. There are lots of good restaurants around and the area is safe. A few meters up the street there is a supermarket, which we used to buy the basics for our breakfast. The hotel was very clean. We had the suite and loved having the kitchenette with a fridge and a kettle for breakfast and tea/coffee. The staff was kind and attentive. They were helpful and always making sure our stay went well. Definitely would go back there if we ever visit Lisbon again.

Parfait! Les informations d'entrée étaient claires et faciles. L'emplacement est parfait. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages dans un locker barré avant et après notre accès à la chambre ce qui a été très pratique et apprécié! Nous étions très fatigués suite à un vol de nuit et la propriétaire a fait tout son possible pour nettoyer la chambre plus rapidement afin de nous y donner l'accès avant l'heure prévue, ce qui a été vraiment très apprécié pour nous. C'est une belle attention! Pour ce qui est de la chambre, j'ai trouvé quelle n'avait pas beaucoup de lumière naturelle ( la fenêtre donnait directement sur une autre fenêtre plutôt que sur une rue) Toutefois , la chambre est propre et belle et tout est pensé pour que ce soit fonctionnel. C'était parfait. De plus, les lits et la literie sont confortables. Enfin, ce que nous avons apprécié le plus c'est le calme et le silence dans l'appartement, autant de jour que de nuit. De plus, il est possible d'être dans le nuit complet pour dormir, autant de jours que de nuit. Je recommande sans hésiter!

Viaje en familia, con niños de 12 y 15 años. Cada uno con su cama. Limpieza, comodidad y ubicación excelentes. Podría mejorarse las almohadas. Sitios cercanos para desayunar. La chica que nos recibió, muy amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar Cuentan con un servicio de taquillas para guardar las maletas antes de llegar o al irte, fácil y muy útil. Estancia muy recomendable

Je recommande sans hésiter! Logement rénové suite familiale #8. Les lits sont confortables. Petite cuisinette et toilette très propres. Super emplacement! Proche des restaurants et transport en commun metro, autobus, tram… L’accès au logement était facile et se fait avec un code. Des casiers sont disponibles pour y laisser les valises si vous arrivez avant l’heure du check-in. Vous aurez besoin d’une pièce de 1 euro pour barrer le casier. Seul petit point négatif : nous n’avons pas pu ouvrir la fenêtre, celle-ci donnait directement sur la toilette du voisin…

Unkompliziert mit Code, am Fuße der Altstadt und Einkaufsviertel. 5 min zur Ubahn oder Zug (damit z.B nach Belem oder zum Strand-20 min). Praktisch auch das Aufbewahren des Gepäcks am Abreisetag. Viele Restaurants und Bars in der Gegend sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Very nice stay and the woman at the desk was extremely helpful and kind. It can get loud at night as you’re near the busy streets of Lisbon but that is expected. Very clean, zero complaints

A great little hotel near the port of Lisbon. Easy access to cruise port and tons of cafes, restaurants and shopping. Room was very clean.

The room is clean and has lots of space, very affordable. The area is safe and very accessible to everything. The metro and bus stations are very close. The only downside is that if you have heavy luggage, this building does not have an elevator. Otherwise, I would stay here again.

We stayed at Hall Chiado for two nights before heading up the coast. The apartment was in a perfect location for a whistle-stop tour of Lisbon. It was also cool, quiet and very clean. Had a great stay.

Cleanliness, location, business model. I enjoyed the fact I didn't see a single person from check-in to check-out. Room always well kept, and very good cleaning crew.

I stayed at this property for one night, the location was perfect, and the staff was kind enough to accommodate an early arrival for me. The only thing I did not like was the floor seemed very dirty. More than I’ve experienced in any hotel. If I were staying longer, I would’ve said some thing. Other than that, everything else was good.

Excellent location, walking distance to sights and public transportation. A no-frills room, modern, spacious, and minimalist with a splash of color. We had a queen bed, fridge, and a spacious bathroom. A lovely three-day stay to remember.

Our room window opened into a closed alley, although we understood it was the cheapest option and didn’t matter much, since we were out all the time. Room safe had reset button missing, so a code could not be set and hence it was unusable. We asked the person at the desk in the hallway, she said she’d look into it, nothing happened, not even a reply. Room lacked a basic table/desk to put things on. It was clean however, and overall we enjoyed our stay there.

Attention, deux types de logement. Le premier : chambre pour couple, donnant sur rue, conformes aux photos. Deuxième type, les chambres familles pour 5. Il n'y aucune visibilité sur l'extérieur mais sur un mur, il y a juste une fenêtre qui donne sur une micro cour, à 1 mètre il y a l'immeuble d'en face, on peut presque se doucher avec la voisine (vue sur leur salle de bain....) . On s'est senti très enfermé, comme dans une boîte... De sardines ! Je ne comprends pas qu'il n'y ait pas plus de message sur ce point et que le logement ait une aussi bonne note. J'ai l'habitude de réserver mais ce qui nous a induit en erreur c'est les photos du site avec l'enfant alors que c'est une chambre duo (je sais on peut partir en vacance avec seulement son enfant...), on pensait que c'était les chambres familles. La chambre pour les enfants est conforme aux photos (pas du tout de fenêtre dans celle là). L'emplacement est bien, un peu au-dessus vous avez la ligne 28 de tram, la plus sympa pour les visites, prévoyez tôt le matin sinon bondée. On avait une voiture, il y a un parking sécurisé à 20€ les 24heures. Une bonne écoute de la location qui a pris en compte notre mécontentement mais il ne pouvait rien faire, le soir même on avait une bouteille de vin à notre arrivée...sympa mais cela n'a pas suffit à nous faire oublier le manque de fenêtre et la vue sur un mur....

We had a lovely stay here. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning was nice, and enough room for a family of 4. Separate room with bunk beds for the kids (although the top bunk bed did get warm, but we were here in July). The only other downside was there is not a lot of natural light…good for sleeping though! We were very close to Pink Street, but our room was on the opposite side, so was nice and quiet. We would stay here again!

Hall Chiado was extremely clean, updated, comfortable beds, excellent location and responsive staff. The only downfall was the hostel above. They had people above my room that were making a lot of noise all week after 11pm, sometimes up to 1am. Although the rooms have great soundproofing for city sounds, that did not prevent the noise from the room above. Overall I highly recommend this property and I would stay there again, but hopefully not below the loud people.

Great stay here. Amazing location, right in the heart of all the action. Easy check in process. Nice rooms. Only problem we had was the very noisy drainage/water pumps. Any time someone in the building used a tap or shower, it made a really loud noise which woke me up several times. If youre a light sleeper, bring earplugs!

Liked the convenience of self check in with a code that was sent to my phone. Room was nice.

Pros: greatly appreciate the friendly and very helpful staff who let me check in early & the free locker service. Cons: I was unlucky to have had a noisy upstairs neighbor in an otherwise very quiet building.

The rooms are great and location is fantastic. But it’s not a hotel- so there is no lobby/ reception, so it’s not easy to get information. From the outside it just looks like someone’s home. So you need a special code to get in . We hadn’t received the email confirmation with code which is really important so make sure you receive it before your travels because otherwise you cannot get in

Amaziing stay the entire team is really sweet and friendly. Rooms are nice and big with ample storage. Would recommend 100%. Beatriz was an amazing host.

The location is wonderful. It is close to everywhere you may have on your list to visit. The room was clean. I recommend this place to say in Lisbon. I had several minor problems; 1. On-site staff is there for a very limited time window. If you have anything to ask or talk about, you need to call. If you have some phone service of making local calls, less problem. If not, it would be a problem. 1-1. related to item1; you will get an email with a code to the entrance and your room. If it goes to your spam folder or you didn't know you would get an email with that information before you leave, you might be in a trouble since no one would be there to help you. You may need to call. 2. The shower door did not close tightly, and after shower, I got a flood. I tried all kinds of tricks, but nothing worked. After multiple attempts, I finally talked to the staff, but they couldn't fix it immediately. 3. I left something in the room when I checked out (my fault). Nothing expensive, but I wanted to get it back. Again, no staff on site. I called a person. She was nice and tried to help me. Due to the fact there is no one at the property, checking, communication etc was not promptly done. In the end, one more trash on the earth. I wish somebody makes use of it.

Beatriz was awesome. She even called restaurants to book for us :-) We never felt the absence of a front desk. I will recommend this property to anyone in a heartbeat.

Very convenient location. Though staff are only available in reception physically late morning - early afternoon, they are easily contactable and extremely helpful! Clean and welcoming space.

Excellent location, nicely furnished room and bathroom. We stayed here in 2014 in a family room when our kids were small and were very excited to get to stay again 11 years later as just a couple. Location cannot be beat.

Great location and very quiet place.

Terrific location for public transit, walking, great restaurants. Comfortable, clean. Would stay again and recommend to friends. I always worry a little about keyless entry but it was super easy and glitch free. Just off the beaten path enough to avoid the masses but still central to easily come and go throughout the day. Given its location (near Pink Street) I definitely heard the party kids leaving the bars throughout the night but it was sporadic. Fair trade for the convenient location and hill climb from the subway.
