Vivacity Porto - Rooms & Apartments

The location is great and I he apartment was large and comfortable. The problem was that here was basically no wifi. We stayed 2 nights and I was never able to get any work done or do anything that had to do with wifi. Plus yes, there is an elevator but you need to go up a ton of stairs to get to it

The layout of this "hotel" is a bit strange, as the reception and the dining/breakfast room are in one building and the apartments (because it's apartments and not just single rooms) are in the building next door. The location is very good, a stone's throw from Clerigos and right beside a large selection of bars and restaurants. Well worth a look if you are looking for a nice base to discover Porto from. Is not the most "central" from a tourist point of view, but are a lot of things around that you might not see otherwise.

1. Excellent location! Within walking distance to many great tourist spots, the main train station, and several good restaurants. 2. We booked a room for four, and it provided almost everything we needed. It came with a well-equipped modern kitchen facilities in the room, a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, big windows, big toilet, hot water, and air conditioning, which was especially helpful since it was very cold in January. 3. A coffee machine with free coffee sachets was also provided. 4. On top of that, they stored my luggage for free until the evening, which was very convenient. 5. The property also has a lift, making it even more accessible. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

No site não citava que haviam 2 prédios. Ficamos no prédio ao lado, que não tem nenhuma característica de hotel. Trata-se de um prédio sendo adaptado para hotel. O meu apartamento era reformado. No penúltimo dia o elevador enguiçou. Podem imaginar a situação no terceiro andar. Subindo escadas e descendo malas.

We had the one bedroom apartment right beside the main hotel . Was bright and clean over looking the cafes below . It can a little loud in the evening . ( Protip) Make sure your windows are latched shut to minimise noise) shower was excellent . The hotel was close to everything and I highly recommend . Bring a translator app for conversation with front desk.

Large apartment, good location, however the reception is on the first floor up steep steps without a lift. Only to be told our accommodation was next door, again up more steps before accessing the lift Apartment was very dirty, kitchen cupboards, mirrors all had dirty marks on. Rug hadnt been hoovered. Wallpaper hanging off wall in corner and mould on ceiling. Young man on reception only one who spoke any English and was very helpful in helping us store luggage upon departure untill needed and called us a taxi. Young lady who checked us in, very faced and un welcoming

Ottima posizione, molto centrale. Stanza abbastanza ampia con balconcino panoramico, bagno comodo; purtroppo manca l’armadio e c’è solo un appendiabiti. La struttura non è provvista di ascensore. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Appartamento ampio, ben arredato, pulito, dotato di tutto il necessario. Bagno spazioso e fornito di tutto. Posizione centrale e vicina a a bar, ristoranti, attrazioni. Personale gentile e disponibile. Presente il deposito bagagli.

No wifi, smelly bathroom, old furniture.

Our Studio suite was huge and very clean and the location was great within walkable distance to all the museums and attractions and far enough away from the large crowds by the river. There was a nice patio area in front of the hotel with 6 different restaurants to dine at including a lovely bakery. Staff were accommodating and pleasant. Great spot.

The apartment was spacious with a large-sized and comfortable bed, settee and kitchen area with a decent amount of utensils, a microwave and coffee machine but oddly no toaster (perhaps due to h&s).. It was very clean with air con which I didn't need to use. It is centrally located and convenient for bus and metro. Didn't take breakfast which was €10. I would stay here again without any hesitation.

Appartamento ampio, ben arredato, pulito, dotato di tutto il necessario. Bagno spazioso e fornito di tutto. Posizione centrale e vicina a a bar, ristoranti, attrazioni. Personale gentile e disponibile. Presente il deposito bagagli.

Bedroom had a sweat and cigarette smell. The rest of the apartment had a musty smell. Staff was rude and wouldn't move us to another unit. Place need an urgent care!

포르투 일정이 짧아서 1박만 했는데, 비바시티 포르토 숙소가 좋아서 1박만 하기에는 아쉬웠습니다. 우선 방과 화장실이 넓고 시설이 청결했습니다. 숙소 바로 앞에서 버스를 탈 수 있었고, 근처에 관광지가 많아서 접근성이 좋았습니다. 리셉션 직원 분도 친절하게 도와주었습니다. 아늑하고 깨끗한 숙소에서 편안한 시간을 보냈고, 다음에 포르투를 다시 여행하게 되면 비바시티 포르토를 이용할 생각이 있습니다.

Unfortunately the one stand-out part of this experience has that our room stank of stale cigarette smoke the moment we walked in. The receptionist's response was tomlaugh awkwardly and agree it wasn't nice and that she'd 'clean' - but the room WAS clean. And the last thing I wanted was the smell of toxic cleaning products on top of the cigarette smoke. And the smell was in the rug and the furnishings, not in the bathroom or on the sheets. Apparently changing rooms wasn't an option - the hotel was full. And I'd just paid. And didn't want to spend the one afternoon we had in Porto looking for another hotel. So we stayed. It smelled less after 5 hours with the windows open while we were out. But there is nothing more disgusting to a non-smoker than being in a space that smells like this so we only slept in the room and spent as little time there as possible. There was no information about this being a room where smoking was allowed and yet no responsibility was taken by the hotel. There was a loud noise of some kind of pump or engine/ generator that we could hear on/ off all night coming from somewhere in the hotel. Fortunately I have earplugs. But not great. So a big - eeeuggggh suns um our stay. A real shame. Otherwise, the room was large, comfortable and clean.

Not sure if this was a rentable unit. Fridge did not work, shelf in shower hanging and the holes above it you can see it had fallen before, no tv in living room even with the wires coming out the wall, remote for tv in bedroom did not work, linen were starched to hell and were stained as well as the towels thang god I travel with my own and last of all hair on the floor (I’m Bald). With all that the location is great, it had an elevator. The wine bar across the street was fantastic! Oh wifi sucked!

Four Day Stay, no Wifi or Television for the whole stay. Enquired after check -in as to why i couldn't connect to the Wifi, and was told a repairman was on their way out to fix. Next Day- Nothing!., but was informed the City was having Vodaphone Issues, even though bif you googled Porto outages, all were reporting Good services Following Day- Nothing!! Last Day upon Check Out, a sign miraculously appeared at reception, stating there were Wifi Issues. No care factor whatever. The apartment was spacious, but door handle broken (inside), which I had to ask to be repaired.

Bra läge och relativt tyst. Stort badrum och stort rum. Bra med kylskåp och kök. Dåligt med krokar och hyllor i badrum. Inget soffbord vilket vi tyckte var konstigt. AC:n fungerade inte bra efter en stund.

The location is good, but the Wi-Fi does not work

Very easy to find along the 207 bus route, several places to eat, or get a tasty treat. Close to several places of interest, the room was spacious and well kept.

Unit was convenient and personnel courteous. The A/C did not work and they did little to remedy the problem, very uncomfortable.

Nous avons séjourné quatre nuits dans cet hôtel, du dimanche soir au jeudi matin. Hôtel très calme, bien situé, petit déjeuner compris mais très léger à mon goût. Il faudrait un petit peu plus de choix. Chambre propre, et si vous voulez que le ménage soit fait, il ne faut pas oublier de mettre la petite pancarte à la poignée en sortant. Je recommande cet hôtel surtout en semaine, peut-être à éviter le week-end car beaucoup de bars dans les alentours.

The hotel conditions are good but the hotel staff are not friendly. They don’t clean the room unless you request.

Absolute shambles. They overbooked for my first night and so made me stay in a horrible 2* hotel where I worried about my safety. I had to accept it given the alternative was sleeping on the streets. When I raised a refund, I was told that my booking was non refundable under any circumstances. This means there's nothing to stop them doing this on a frequent basis and making money by selling rooms at their price but actually providing rooms in a different hotel which is not anywhere near the same standard. Avoid this hotel. I was treated horribly by them.

Our room was not cleaned because we did not leave the lavel "please clean this room" hanging in the door. The person at the reception desk was rude when we compleined and told us that it was like that everywhere. I explained that when no label is hanging on the door the cleaner usually rings the bell and if nobody is in the room they enter and clean the door. Nothing changed the man on the reception desk and he shouted to us.

Nice stay! Very central location. The room for two was extremely big, more like an apartment which was lovely—outfitted with a kitchen and a big bathroom. Very comfortable for anyone travelling to Porto. Only negative was confusion surrounding cleaning, as we were told this would be done automatically without any need to ask for it... which did not happen. Perhaps it should be communicated clearer what the terms for cleaning are, but it's by no means a big negative and would've most assuredly been resolved by staff if we needed it—but for our stay we only really needed a change of towels, which we got when we asked for it.

Centrally located near dinning, shops, and sites. Everything was walkable.

The hotel location is excellent; it’s vey close to all shops, restaurants and sightseeing.

Gebouw is verouderd. Appartement was wel reeds vernieuwd. Er kwam wel weinig licht binnen en ook de donkere gordijnen doen hier geen goed aan. Uitzicht was er niet door de aanwezigheid van bomen voor het raam. Geen dubbele beglazing waardoor het lawaai op de straat goed hoorbaar was. Iedere morgen stond er water in de gang.

Hôtel situé en plein centre ville, très pratique. Appartement spacieux, propre et confortable. Très bien équipé, c’est agréable ! Suggestion : mettre des rideaux vraiment occultants, car c’est difficile de dormir le matin avec la lumière qui rentre. Pour ceux qui veulent se reposer, la place en dessous est assez bruyante. Check-in et check-out simples et rapides, je recommande.

有一個美好的旅遊住宿體驗於《波爾圖活力酒店》，地點好方便，可惜缺點就是市內聲音比較嘈雜，難以打開窗戶來通風，必須開著冷氣，但由於我的房間內冷氣長期滴水所以又變成另一個問題了。 酒店員工服務好，24小時Check-in 服務，態度友善，酒店還提供早餐服務。地點絕佳，鄰近火車站及多個著名景點，樓下就有食肆及麵包店，去那裡都非常方便！

Fiz a reserva online para 2 adultos e 2 crianças e foi me dito que seriam cobrados 4€ no alojamento de taxa turistica mas ao fazer o check in online foram me cobrados 8€... pior foi no dia seguinte quando fui com a minha mulher e os miudos para tomar o pequeno-almoço e foi me dito que nao estava incluido na reserva o que nao é verdade pois efectuei a reserva com o pequeno-almoço incluido... o comando da tv nao funcionava mas mesmo ao acender a tv no botao desta nao tinha qualquer sinal de tdt. Para nao falar da falta de simpatia dos recepcionistas. Unica coisa realmente positiva foi o tamanho do apartamento de resto em geral é uma experiencia que nao iremos repetir

I stood here alone for two nights and loved how safe I felt. Breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect it was walking distance to everywhere I needed to go.
