The windows were dirty.Mold in grout by bathroom floor.No stove to cook on . No dish cloths, dish soap .Just bathroom sink to wash dishes in. I had a jacuzzi tub right beside the bed.If I used it it would cost $180 . extra to use it for the 3 days I was there . House keeping was extra so I didn't want any service.The chairs and carpets were stained .There was a lightbulb burnt out in bathroom. The policy was if there were anything running IE : a/c ..tv they had the right to enter into suite and turn it off and I would be charged .

Don't let the outside fool you, very clean and reasonable and not far from town & beaches; kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster & microwave, they also have bbq outside you could use.

The Silver Birch Motel may be dated and has a bit of a Schitt's Creek vibe, but we think that's part of it's charm! We were greeted at the front desk by a very friendly couple who made sure we had everything we needed for a restful night sleep. The beds were comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean, and the AC blew very cold. The Silver Birch is a perfect option for a quick, inexpensive and comfortable overnighter.

We were more than satisfied with the room..spacious and very clean. The room had been completely updated and looked brand new. The motel doesn't look like much from the outside and unit doors need a coat of paint to spruce the look up.

Rooms are SUPER clean! Owners are very polite and cheerful. If you want a super bright modern room, this may not be for you but, don't be fooled - this place is very clean and quaint. Would stay here again, for sure!

The room smelt clean on entry but apart from clean sheets it was dirty. Sticky old rules folder. An old broken fridge left in our room, full of mold. More of a Canadian lake decor in the reception area would be nice. I didnt appreciate being complained to about how much Expedia charge them and I should book directly through the motel. One front window that was cleaned was cleaned while I was trying to sleep. Creepy to have staff at my window. The kitchenette utensils should be garbaged and restocked. Draws need to be cleaned. Room needs renovation at best cleaning at least.

Reminiscent of places we stayed on family vacations in my youth. 🙂 We were given our choice of two rooms. Both were spacious and clean. Our choice came down to the bedspread pattern. 😉 Not a fancy property but all that we needed was provided. Check in was quick and courteous. Would definitely recommend.

My needs were very little. I oicked this motel for the location and it didnt dissapoint. Very close to town and all the ammenities. The room was set up with a flat screen, 2 queen beds, dresser, work table and to my surprise, a kitchenette! Thats a money saver all day long! The bathroom seemed to be recently remodelled and had a bath/shower combo.

See my google review. Host entered our room while we were out, and illegally charged us a $50 deep cleaning fee due to my service dog having fur. She called us and was verbally abusive. The cleaning she has to do is vacuum and wash the bedding like with every other guest. I referred her to the AODA laws which she is breaking and she doesn't care. I've literally never been treated so poorly in any establishment. Avoid.

It's an older country property, so I couldn't justify a 5 star rating for Property Condition & Facilities, so I gave a 4 star rating. But everything else was excellent. Friendly staff at check-in, even offered a room upgrade without charging more for a superior room! The room was very clean and comfortable, everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. The room price was quite reasonable and I'd go back again if we were in the area.

it was a bit isolated but can’t do much about that. the whole place is dated but clean , bed was comfortable and the coffee maker worked! which is more than i can say for most expensive hotels. Staff was courteous… great place to rest for the night and the price was right!!! no complaints
