I’m just going to say DO NOT stay here unless you like body fluids all over the walls, beds and floors. Not to mention the massive amount of mold in the baseboards, walls and ceiling. Pieces of The ceiling were literally falling onto the floor. There was dog air covering the front of the Ac, in the shower, on the sink and on the sheets. The shower rod was falling out of the wall. The floor was damp and so dirty, you couldn’t walk without shoes, There was some brown substance in the mini fridge, the pool outside of our balcony had so much trash (cigarettes, bottle lids, paper, food and other debris), the water was cloudy and looked like a pool of disease. We could not swim. The view of the ocean was the only pleasant thing but you couldn’t sit on the balcony because of the filth and the chairs were covered in some previous persons old cigarette butts. We asked for a different room and she gave us a key to go look before we moved but that room was just as bad and had a worse smell. They didn’t offer to come clean or accommodate us in any manner and the front desk woman got attitude when we told her how bad it was. She said she’d send someone to fix the shower rod, but no one ever came or did. We learned our lesson of the term “dirty Myrtle”. North Myrtle will be the only place in that area in the future. Just DO NOT do it! Trust me. I have no idea how the health department even allows them to stay open.

Upon arrival to the hotel the front staff was very rude and told me that my reservation had been canceled. There is never a full explanation given on why that room was canceled but then I was given a different room that was very disgusting. The room smelled of mold and mildew. The railings outside on the balcony were repaired with a quick fix. During the night it rained in the ceiling leaked. There were motorcycles that were very loud all night long prove it and good sleep
