A hotel with lots of potential but needs a bit of renovating.We had to complain about the cleanliness of our room and once we did it was sorted .The staff is very good but the management need to step up .Good gym but full of glass windows which makes it difficult to cool down.Pool much too hot to swim in .Good breakfast.

Positives - The overall stay was amazing at this hotel. Amazing morning breakfast buffet with incredibly service provided from Bhupender and Amit. Amazing pool, spa and fitness centre facilities. Negative - Even if your stay has been amazing the lady in black dress at the reception spoils your mood as their check in and check out service is totally unorganised and she has no idea what she is doing. First of all she made us wait for so long to figure out the check in and upon checking out was falsely charging for using 2 packs of buiscuits from the mini bar which wasn't there at the first place. They need to really be organised in their before and after room checks. Another drawback was they didn't have a first aid kit and even over the counter medicines which are readily available at every hotel. The lady at the reception said they are not allowed to give any medicines to guest due to health safety reasons but the housekeeping guy confirmed that the hotel had run out.of medicines lol another lie from the receptionist. Wifi issues are very common as you don't get internet quite often!

I booked the hotel as a day room until a midnight flight from Delhi, inadvertently selecting single occupancy which is my hotels.com default. I immediately realized and attempted to adjust but the booking was non refundable. I asked the check in staff to allow me to pay in the difference and they were unobliging. Hotel.com agent was phenomenal attempting to negotiate with the hotel on my behalf. They were adamant and eventually I paid in the difference directly to the hotel. An hour wasted in a lobby when all I wanted was rest. The lobby was probably the best place to be because when we got to the Premium King room it was filthy, has exactly 2 bath towels, no others. No gowns or slippers as advertised.The best part was the half roll of toilet paper, of which I did not even attempt to ask for more as I was still waiting for IT to come as promised to assist with the WIFI which never worked. This is certainly not a 4* Hotel as advertised

This is an awful place. The management is incompetent , the staff unhelpful. They had the wrong address on the site and the driver arrived at the address , which was in the middle of no where. They lied and blamed the driver but I have proof thta they advertised the wrong address. Too expensive and very DIRTY

It’s very old hotal and they new maintain. Room and washroom very dirt and old. Never go there. They charge me 18000 Indian rupees but it’s not worth even 500 Indian rupees. Staff is very good.

Check in was extremely disappointing, arrived in hotel at 9.10am, and requested early check in, I offered to pay for early hours, but was still asked to wait. Check in was eventually processed at 11.15am. Waiting two hours is subpar service. I will not suggest this hotel to any friend.

We contacted the hotel a few days prior to our arrival, with no reply. As it turns out, we were not allowed to leave the airport without the visa for overnight stay. The restrictions came in over COVID and have not been removed. Most of the passengers on our flight from Mel to Paris with stopover were in the same position. Expedia should be infomed, the hotel should have replied. VERY poor service !

I book through Expedia clearly saying breakfast and one way free airport shuttle but at time of check in the staff says I have to pay extra for shuttle it is not included that was really disappointing I showed the staff my booking receipt it clearly says amenities included but they say no I have to pay extra really exhausted 😩

There was a confirm booking of Hotel with Late check in and Airport pickup request for me as arriving Delhi from Canada, before departing and after reaching Delhi I tried more than 50 times on given number of Umrao Hotel but there was no response, no calls were received or if by chance any body receive than it was a mute call, i left many messages to call me but didn’t receive any call from Desk. I waited and searched if any person from Umrao Hotel was there to pick us but no one was there and no information, response, mail or msg from Hotel. I was stranded at the airport after 16 hour flight. Ultimately after making all efforts, I had to book a different hotel on high price on 11th hour. Finally I received a Call of Mr. Avinash from Hotel Umrao desk by 11.56 PM and on hearing me they have only one word of Sorry and no other explanation on why they behaved in an unprofessional way. The experience is very bad and not as per expectation with renowned Expedia.
