Eros Hotel New Delhi by IHG

The service was bad, the attitude of the staff was terrible and the food quality specially the brunch buffet/cleanliness was poor

I stayed a few times at Eros during my recent India trip. We had a couple of rooms the first time around for a night and then 1 room for a couple of nights. The first time we didn't have issues. All went well. Second time around, the room we got I to had issues with the shower where the shower temp kept swinging from hot to cold and vice versa and the issues with the inroom telephone. The AC also wasn't working properly. The staff promptly got us moved to a new room. The second room had issues with drainage. Had to get the washroom sink unclothed first and then the bathtub drain. Whatever seeped out from the clogged drain was disgusting and the smell was just terrible. They offered to move us again but we didn't. They cleaned the place and sprayed air freshner to counter the smell. This is not something you expect from a 5 star property that comes at a premium price tag. There wasn't even any regret on the part of management for such a shoddy experience. I came back to Eros because I had stayed at the property a few years back with my family on my last India trip and the experience had stayed with me. I was quiet disappointed the second time arnd.

Great experience

The building is absolutely stunning and we had an amazing view of the lotus temple! If you’re a foodie there’s lots of variety on the menu! We only stayed for one night, but would definitely recommend!

Everything about this hotel is par excellence! The team at front office. Manager Amit , team at Cafe , breakfast spread & team there, housekeeping and rooms! Cant appreciate enough for all that they do consistently, I have been coming here for multiple years now and every time i come back, i see service level a notch above. Keep it up team!
