This was our favorite hotel we stayed at in Portugal--the staff were friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The lobby was spacious and gorgeously designed. The food from the restaurant was good, and we loved the happy hour! Our room was also well-proportioned, and we loved the amenities provided, including the shower cap and dental kits. Our only quibble--and this was our fault for not properly researching the location--was that it was quite far from the central part of the city. The area was mostly residential (though we loved the restaurant Geographie around the corner), and it was a solid 40-minute walk to the central commercial area.

This place is a mixed bag. It’s newly remodeled, nice and clean. The bed and bedding were very nice; super comfortable. On the other hand, the location and total lack of nearby parking was terrible. The claim that there is a nearby parking garage is simply not true. If you don’t have a car, it’s great. Need parking, stay elsewhere.

Our room was very spacious and clean. Really comfy bed and good shower. One of our towels had some stains and we asked to replace it - this was done efficiently. There’s kettle and coffee maker in the room, with two bottles of water, which we really appreciated. Reception and breakfast staff were helpful and friendly. The only one small issue is that to get to the metro station, we needed to take a bus. There are a few bus stops around but truly, the bus schedules are not reliable. So, wherever you want to go, just buffer more time than Google suggested. Walking is the most reliable option but it’s about 20-25mins walk from the hotel to the nearest metro.

I totally enjoyed my stay at the Emerald House Lisbon. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport even if public transportation was used.The staff was welcoming and my room was ready and I was allowed an earlier checkin time. The lobby was cute and ultra clean and beautifully decorated. My room was beautifully done and there was a lot of attention paid with the decor. Bathroom was super clean. Breakfast was good and the dining staff was very attentive. The staff were great and very informative with any questions. An extra thanks to Renata at the front desk for all the detailed information she shared with us. The hotel qas beautiful and the decor truly live up to "The Curio Collection" theme. Transportation was just outside the hotel wahich was easy and convenient. I look forward to stay there again on another visit and would totally reccomend this hotel.

Stayed there during 2 day visit to Lisbon. It was clean, walkable to transit and other areas. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The breakfast in the morning (included with my stay) had lots of options for all. My room was clean, shower was fantastic and my bed was comfortable. I was able to store my luggage as I arrived before check in time.

Pleasant high-quality modern Hilton hotel with lit momento boxes highlighting Lisboa history. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Our corner room had two nice small balconies and a view towards the river! The complimentary water and mini fridge were nice amenities.

First the good: room was spacious with a gorgeous walk in shower. The bed was comfortable and there was ample closets. The windows and doors let in amazing light but the black out curtains allowed for extra sleep. We love the chocolate cake they left us, so yummy and such a thoughtful gift. We were excited about the in room coffee maker as well. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and had a great variety. Now the not so great: while we enjoyed the first cup of coffee our first day, they failed to restock it the rest of our trip even though we requested at the front desk, multiple times. Same with the tea. I wasn't feeling well and really wanted the camomile tea but it was never replenished. The balcony was lovely but the privacy fence to the balcony next door was broken. Thankfully our neighbors weren't out when we were. Lastly the switch to alert housekeeping was broken until our last day so we had to let the front desk know we needed housekeeping everyday. Location was quiet and not a long walk to shopping and restaurants.

Even though our flight was earlier our room was already for us to have an earlier check-in. The front desk was so helpful explaining the hotel amenities as well as answering our questions regarding the Lisboa card, arranging a taxi to the airport and making us feel so welcomed.

If there was a 6-star rating, I would give the Emerald House. Rachel was one of the front desk receptionists, who had spent long time to explain and answer our questions when we first arrived at the Hotel. Another front desk receptionist had tried to help us solve the airport pick up problem by call the long distance to Spain to find out the answer. Not only the front desk clerks have great service attitude but also the cleaning crews are very friendly too. The location of the hotel was also another plus. There are several bus stops nearby and it was very convenient to go shopping or explore several tourist spots. My wife and I had a great time and will highly recommend this hotel to friends.

Outstanding hotel find after been stranded in Lisbon for an evening. Check-in by Renata was fantastic, she shared a wealth of information to maximize my limited time in the city (e.g., Time Out Market, walks, etc.). Room, was spacious, modern, and clean w/ views of the Cristo Rei statue. The hotel is a ~25 min walk to restaurants / shopping but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Emerald House. It is located across from the antiquities museum where we spent our firs afternoon in Lisbon as we tried to stay awake and adjust to the time change. It is in a quieter part of Lisbon which we really like but walkable to all the churches, restaurants and sights. We took the metro in from the airport but if you have a lot of luggage I would recommend you Uber, we travel light. I can't recommend it enough. The staff were delightful and the bed was a dream

We stayed for five nights and loved our stay at The Emerald House. The room was very comfortable and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very good and you can easily get to down town Lisbon by foot or tram/bus. Quite a few very nice restaurants close by too.

Really good location, quiet location and easy to get transport around the Lisbon, including the public transport. View outside the hotel is really good, overlooking the main Lisbon bridge, Jesus statue, and Tagus River.

Un très bon petit déjeuner, et un excellent Happy Hour en fin d’après-midi dans cet établissement bien agencé, moderne avec un personnel sympathique et aux petits soins. La chambre était très spacieuse avec une très bonne literie, un bon room service et un service de ménage très bien.

The staffs are super nice, property is very clean and well maintained. I would give it a 5 star if it wasn’t because the following issues, 1. The A/C is very weak, it says 19c in settings, the rooms is really 24c at best. 2. Facility has no laundry, sending laundry out with room service is extremely expensive 3. Happy house food is old, clearly left over from breakfast.

First let me start by saying that the staff of the hotel were really great and very helpful. The drinks at the bar were great. As a vegetarian there was not much choice to be had in the restaurant. I believe the hotel should advertise that the more expensive rooms on the 5 th floor with a balcony have skylight ceilings which are very low. My husband hit his head twice on the ceiling even though we were being very careful. It is not fair to pay more money and then endanger ourselves as an older couple. Another point was the placement of the toilet roll holder in the toilet. One could not sit comfortably as it dug into one’s thigh and it was very uncomfortable. For an expensive hotel these are important issues and I believe should be addressed.
