Disappointed to be told on arrival that there's no breakfast due to staff sickness. Also confusion due to two separate invoices from Hotel.com. Great location on the main street and great to be able to park for free. If the pub car park is full of recommend St John's car park, much cheaper than the abbey cat park opposite. Family room was spacious and pleasant. The room is above the bar so the music noise was noticeable but the manager kindly turned it down when asked. If it was a busy night I think the pub noise might be an issue.

Lovely team (Lauren was especially helpful on the phone when booking), warm welcome on arrival & super room with an amazing view of the Abbey & Tor. Very comfy bed & good bathroom facilities. The location is very central which is a great plus but this does inevitably mean a bit of traffic noise but we still slept well. Would definitely stay again.

We’d a great time at the Market House - excellent beer garden and great location. The general manager Chris was hugely helpful and friendly. Top bloke!

Had a lovely stay at the market house in Glastonbury, right in the centre opposite the Abbey. Staff in the pub were lovely as were the landlord and the landlady we met just as we were about to leave. The breakfast was really nice, we didn't book it with our room (will next time) but decided to go there anyway and enjoyed. Highly recommended for comfort, staff and position.
