The room is good and there's a pleasant rooftop patio. It's also central and close to everything. My main complaint is that it's noisy -- from the street below, the meeting hall next door, and the adjoining rooms (thin walls). Also, there's no elevator, and the stairs up are narrow and steep.

Extremely clean, cosy, quirky and comfortable. I loved the outside roof terrace but found the winding stairs to my 2nd floor room very challenging.

Perfect for our little family birthday celebration. Right on Glastonbury High Street so everything on the doorstep. Brilliantly stocked kitchen for us to use. Woken by the beautiful aroma of fresh baked bread from the baker nearly next door (fresh pastries with our morning coffee!).

This was a fantastic place to stay. It is in the center of town, so convenient to shops and restaurants. The room (tufted owl) was spacious and very clean. It had a private bathroom (with a shower). It does not have air conditioning, but had large windows and a fan and I was comfortable in mid-July even as a person who sleeps hot. There is a private (for all guests) patio/courtyard with flowers and seating, and an upstairs terrace with a view of the Tor!!! Also, it is near the old Glastonbury abbey ruins and bus stop. The breakfast was good as well, and there is a small kitchen with everything you'd need if you didn't want to go out for a meal. I highly recommend this place.

A very comfortable lodging above a store in Glastonbury. A beautiful secret garden entrance and easy shopping. Everything is very quiet at night with the town closing down early. There was parking close by and we walked everywhere the whole time we were there. Lilija on staff was kind and helpful.

A lovely stay. No elevator so best for people who are light packers. Breakfast is at a neighboring hotel. I ate there twice and the food was quite good. Getting into the 8 Owls is not the most reassuring experience (you are sent a code, no one is at the entrance and if you arrived later at night it could be spooky. Parking is two blocks away.

There were lights shining into the room all night. There was a live band playing across the road till midnight. Lots of noise from people and cars in the street below on and off till 3 in the morning shame about the noise because the room was nice

Lovely room with a terrace, spacious bathroom and a comfortable bed. The room overlooked the High Street but was still not noisy. A supplied voucher gave us an excellent breakfast in The Crown across the road. Will definitely book this B&B again.

sadly I ended up in the wrong room as the signage for the individual room was not clear , however I luckily did not have to move and the host was very good about it. steep stairs but very good clean and usable accommodation. I rate it highly as a Glastonbury B&B.

The communication before arrival was very clear, making it easy to find parking / access to the property. The room was well appointed & everything we needed as a base in the middle of the town! The roof terrace was a lovely offering..loved seeing the Tor over the roof tops! We will definitely be back, when we next plan a stay in our favourite town! Can't recommend enough!

I can’t give a full review as I didn’t stay the night. Worth noting that this property is unmanned, with no owners or staff on site. The setup felt more like a hostel which is worth knowing before you arrive. It is in a great location though with stunning rooms which were spotlessly clean. Lilija was great at communicating and I appreciated her helping me.

The property itself was cute. However it’s right off a small courtyard and the master bedroom has windows right at the courtyard wall. There’s a public hall that holds events and a party was held in the courtyard right outside our window well into the night. People stand right at the window, impossible to sleep, can hear entire conversations. There’s no front desk at all so no human interaction and there’s no convenient parking. We knew about the parking but it’s the location that would turn us off from staying again.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Directions were clear. Location is just off High Street so is a little noisy at night. Shower and bathroom were nice, with refreshments ready in the room for us. Hostess was very helpful getting us a taxi to the train station.

Excellent location right in the Main Street. It was a little noisy during the day (music shop below which played loud music all day, at night the assembly rooms played music for most of the night - fantastic if you come to party! The facilities were excellent. It was lovely and clean. Everything was within walking distance. Just a little loud for small children.

Perfect for our little family birthday celebration. Right on Glastonbury High Street so everything on the doorstep. Brilliantly stocked kitchen for us to use. Woken by the beautiful aroma of fresh baked bread from the baker nearly next door (fresh pastries with our morning coffee!).

This was a fantastic place to stay. It is in the center of town, so convenient to shops and restaurants. The room (tufted owl) was spacious and very clean. It had a private bathroom (with a shower). It does not have air conditioning, but had large windows and a fan and I was comfortable in mid-July even as a person who sleeps hot. There is a private (for all guests) patio/courtyard with flowers and seating, and an upstairs terrace with a view of the Tor!!! Also, it is near the old Glastonbury abbey ruins and bus stop. The breakfast was good as well, and there is a small kitchen with everything you'd need if you didn't want to go out for a meal. I highly recommend this place.

Very noisy location only quiet from 11.45pm to around 7 am . Disappointed with the breakfast vouchers sending us to a location we usually avoid due to cold food etc . Plus had to pay for parking Overall not worth the £150 fee

A lovely stay. No elevator so best for people who are light packers. Breakfast is at a neighboring hotel. I ate there twice and the food was quite good. Getting into the 8 Owls is not the most reassuring experience (you are sent a code, no one is at the entrance and if you arrived later at night it could be spooky. Parking is two blocks away.

8 Owls is a lovely B&B on the Main Street in Glastonbury. The room was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed. Quiet street at night. Close to everything, shopping, eating, sightseeing. The Tor and Chalice Well are in walking distance. Lilija informed us very well with regards to checking in and parking facilities, which are very close by. The breakfast in The Crown over the road was lovely as were the staff. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Lilija!

The only thing that needs a comment is regarding breakfast which is served very locally at the Crown hotel. The allowance barely covers the cost of breakfast, meaning that if you want tea or coffee then you have to pay extra. The arrangement itself is fine, its just the value of the allowance should at least cover 'breakfast'.

Really lovely property, arrived late but loads of outside lighting so easy to find and feels safe. Room was perfect and bathroom had everything I needed. Breakfast at The Crown was also great, Only downside was noise from the main road with lorries unloading but maybe Im a light sleeper?? Would fully recommend

One night stay in this fabulous B&B right in the heart of Glastonbury. Instructions for check in were clear and sent in a timely manner. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was firm and comfortable. Excellent shower. Bottled water, tea and coffee provided. Good value for money including breakfast voucher at the Crown Hotel. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

Having read a few previous reviews wasn’t sure what to expect. Some said stairs were awful. Both me and my wife found the stairs fine. But anyone with restricted mobility may struggle. . Room spotlessly clean. Breakfast voucher in room to be used at local pub. Voucher value is £15pp. Full breakfast is £13.95. Then drinks are extra. So you end up paying a bit extra which isn’t made clear when you book. There are cheaper options on menu though.

This place is absolutely beautiful and amazing to stay!! Lilija is quick and amazing in communication also very kind. The place is absolutely cozy and very well situated. I feel at home there. Water, teas and coffee powder with a kettle, cups and plates and bottles of water. Privacy without room services!! Yeah I love it!! I had a magical time there and I am going to repeat for sure. Thank You

I really enjoyed my stay in the 'Barn Owl's room. I had everything I needed provided within the room. It was airy and spacious. The only niggle for me and it is more of a preference in comparison to a negative was the sheets used for the bedding. I am so used to staying in establishments which use high cotton count for the bedding so it was quite a change in what I'm used to. However, I did the find the bed comfy and was able to sleep. Just a heads up: with this room looking out on to the High Street there was the odd sound coming from vehicles outside but it wasn't too much that it stopped me from having a good night's sleep. Would definitely book again and thought the chocolates were a nice addition 🍫
