Stay was great, however be aware the pool is closed.

Love this hotel and would definitely stay again if in this part of town. Enjoyed the quality toiletries provided and that they had a bar that was open in the evening and a happy hour.

The parking lot is kind of confusing which makes it harder to stay at this hotel. The multi-level parking could be more easily accessible.

One if the elevators was out the entire week. We were here two weeks prior and the same elevator was out the whole week then as well. Other than waiting for the elevator alot, experience was very positive!!!

Really enjoyed the free breakfast buffet and evening happy hour. Lots of dining options available nearby. Rooms were large and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is about parking. The parking structure gets full over the weekends plus there is an extra charge that's not exactly cheap. If you end up getting back to the hotel late enough you will be forced to park on the top floor of the structure and the elevator is located on the opposite side of where the entrance to the hotel is - very odd placement. Other than that everything else very comfortable! Would probably stay again.

Sink leaked in room, parking garage cost $15/day, parking garage changed height and height was not clearly posted, manager “Mike” was very deceptive when communicating about the problem

Lot of stuff is inop. Ice machineson floors, 3,4,5 were broken. Hot water in th kitchen was only Luke warm. Stayed there for 3 nights and no maid service the whole time. Parking is not free and is handled by a third party. Staff is friendly, but stuff still stays broken.

The property suits military families moving to or from the National Capital region. Several restaurants and a grocery store are within walking distance. A mall and metro access are within a five-minute drive. The hotel staff is friendly, and the facilities are in excellent condition. The fitness center provides ample options, and the equipment is in good working condition. The hotel is pet-friendly. Parking costs $15/day per vehicle.

We chose this hotel instead of another cheaper one we had first booked because we wanted to treat ourselves with the extras they were offering - re swimming pool, bar, car park. Once there, we found out that there is no swimming pool - apparently they have informed hotel.com of the changes many times but it still comes up on the website. The kids were extremely disappointed. Bar is from Tuesday to Saturday (unlucky-we were there on a Monday!), car park was $15 for 14 hours even though there is a big mall opposite so you could park there. We asked for a room for 4 people. 2 adults, 2 kids. There was a sofa bed for the kids which was fine, but we had to make the bed ourselves with the sheets provided in the cupboard had to call reception to find out!!! Never ever been asked to make the bed for my kids in a hotel (and I’ve been to many with them) so I wasn’t expecting to have to do it in a supposedly 3-star hotel! Last thing, there is a small kitchen in the room. With one spoon and 8 knives. No forks though!… The breakfast buffet was more than basic. The grass on the side terrace had not been cut in weeks - it was so high. So altogether a really disappointing experience. I wish we had stuck to our basic choice cos at least we would have had what we would have paid for!

Clean, spacious room. The workout area was great, excellent breakfast. Area around the front door at night always smelled like smoke/weed. Stairwell in parking garage was gross and smelled terrible.

After checking in and given a key to 328 we entered the room unmaid beds trash and garbage stillbin the kitchen. We were moved to 300. Went to ice machinebon 3rd floor, didn't work. Went to second floor didn't work. Finally 4th floor machine worked. Carpet in lobby area in serious need of cleaning.

Room was dirty. Hallways smelled like someone was cooking up drugs or really horrid food. Very disappointing stay. Hotel staff didn’t address our concerns at all. Never again.

The staff was friendly, the hotel and room were extremely clean. I only wish that paying for parking was mentioned during check in. I went to leave and had a ticket/voucher to pay for parking on my windshield..

We had ants all over our room, in our suitcase and in our bed.

They advertised a pool and daily housekeeping. No pool and housekeeping was scheduled for every other day and we had to flag down a housekeeper at 5 PM of day 3 to get ours cleaned

I checked in with my kids. We went to pulled the pull out sofa and there were bed bugs. We had to leave at 2 am.

My room was dirty. TRACK HAIR EVERYWHERE. On the sheets, pillows, comforter, floor, bathroom floor, shower, sinks, etc. the refrigerator has brown spots in it. I wiped the tables with Clorox wipes…. FILTHY. I reported all this to the front desk (mind you it’s 5-6 pm) and reported this to them and they switched my room to another king suite a couple doors down. DIRTY AGAIN. Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. The tub and sink had pubic hair in it. I went BACK to the front desk and they told me they didn’t have anymore King suites available and housekeeping is gone for the day. They offered me a regular room after I already paid full price before they gave me room keys to the first room. I declined and asked to be placed back in the first room I was assigned. Also told them to give me fresh bedding down to the comforter. I striped the entire bed. I then went to target and bought my own plastic mattress and pillow covers as well as a comforter to feel slightly more comfortable so I can go to sleep. I also purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned everything myself because at this point I don’t trust the staff or hotel. I’m disgusted because now I know cleanliness and sanitation is not demanded by management. The bed was neatly made with everything dirty like that. That’s no accident due to the amount of someone’s hair as if they cleaned their brush on the bed and styled their hair there too. I’m glad I bought shoes to wear around the room I do not trust anything at that hotel.

The rooms were clean, but the common area floors and carpets were not.

The employees was very respectful and the place was amazingly clean

The customer service was great. The room was moderately clean. There were crumbs on the counter in the kitchenette area as well as on the floor under the desk. I did not like that the water would not get hot in the bathroom sink. The temp of the water in the shower was ok. Overall it was a decent stay. Very convenient location.

The room air conditioner did not work properly. Very poor parking for charging you. Breakfast was real really pretty good.

Our room was exceptional, so clean, spacious, comfortable beds, amazing shower. My ONLY complaint was there wasn’t a good area to take my dogs outside to go potty. The only grassy areas were next to restaurants and they were very littered and my dogs (labs) on several occasions tried to eat some chicken bones from the restaurant next door. It would have been the perfect stay had there been more areas from them directly outside. I realize that isn’t the hotels fault that surrounding areas were littered but I do wish they had a better pet relief area. Fortunately we were able to drive to parks! Would definitely stay again. Staff was super kind and responsive to anything we needed.

Nice lobby friendly staff spacious room the only let down was the old bed and thin bad quality sheets

Free breakfast was excellent. Hotel is clean but needs refurbished. Convenient location near stores and restaurants but traffic noise is loud.

Stayed in a room with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa bed. We need the sleeper sofa bed for a family of 5 and it was very uncomfortable. Need to bring your own bedding to use. Next time will bring my blow up mattress instead. Room was clean and of a good size. The staff at the main desk and those who prepared the coffee/food were very friendly.

Very loud refrigerator kept me up throughout the stay. Ironing board fell apart when I tried to open it. The tub drained very slowly so there was ponding for every shower. Very nice people!

I booked here at the last minute. The carpets in the hall needed vacuuming. I was there for over a week and I saw the same debris on the floor every day. The room was nice, but the blankets were ridiculously thin and looked very old. The blanket was more like a sheet and will not keep you warm at all. The trash cans were Very small and the plastic bag inside slid into the trash as soon as I put something in it. The hotel was very quiet and the customer service was Very Good. The room and the hotel in general needs a lot of care. The sofa in the room was old and sinks when you sit on it. I would rate this place as a step above what I would expect from a Motel 6. It needs a lot of upgrades. You can see the plaster on the walls in the room and there are several other aesthetic things need to be taken care of. For the price. There are some good points. It's in the PERFECT location to food, shopping, freeways, etc. Customer Service is Excellent.

Lot of traffic noise. Sounded like construction vehicles backing up all night. Front desk clerk seemed very disinterested in us checking in.

I can't give a review of my stay, because I did'nt get a chance to stay there! I arrived at Homewood Suites in Springfield, VA around 2:00 AM on Saturday, March 3rd. No one was working the front desk. I understood that it was after midnight, and most scheduled guests were probably checked in already. The entrance to the lobby office was roped off. There was no sign that said a front desk worker was returning to the desk in a certain time frame. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I waited for almost an hour for somebody to check me in. It did'nt happen. I called the Homewood Suites hotline for help. Nothing but pre-recorded messages, including a pre-recorded apology for no one being available. So I slept in my bus that night (I'm a bus driver). That morning, I returned to the front desk. The fellow at the desk seemed surprised that nobody was there to check me in. He assured me that Hilton would'nt charge me anything. In 32 years of tour bus driving, this never happened to me, regardless of how late I checked in.

Heater in room was not working. Bathroom light did not work. There were holes in the wall. Worse was the response from the concierge and Manager Michael Dorsett. They clearly did not care and had absolutely NO customer service training or skills. Disappointed to receive this level of service from a Hilton branded hotel.

The initial receptionist was very kind and informative however, the other staff members that I engaged with was far from friendly and was very dismissive. When requesting a late check out as a Hilton member, I did not feel accommodated. The receptionist was very stern with an additional $100 fee just to extend to 1pm. I was able to stay until 12 and exactly at 12, house keeping did not knock or even announce they were walking in. The lady just opened the door which was quite uncomfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at the Homewood Suites. The staff was professional, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was especially comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The location was convenient, and I appreciated the variety of dining options both on-site and nearby. Overall, the Homewood Suites delivered a relaxing and enjoyable experience—I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Lady at the front desk was rude and disrespectful

We had to stay in the room that had no working AC with our 2yr old and two 7yr old. The night worker did not want to switch rooms and said he would try to fix it even though he was not the engineer. Will that end engineer will come the next day? No one ever came and we will never offered another room. The deck guy barely wanted to give me a key to get into the gym when I misplaced my key. family member was having heart surgery. So we had to stay there was no where else to go. They knew that.

Great experience overall. Suites very spacious and well appointed. Overall service was great. Cleanliness was a plus!! Would definitely come back

It’s a typical “extended stay hotel.” It’s what one should expect accommodations wise. One Elevator was not working and made for unusually long waits for the elevator but such is life. One staff member, Sherries, at front desk, was exceptional. Another who’s name we aren’t sure how to spell (Zohol?) was fine throughout our stay as we had little contact however, when we discovered we had a flat tire in the hotel garage, and sought a late check out the next day as we were going to have to contend with it then, she told us our check out could not go past 1 pm and we I sought longer knowing what all had to occur with getting a fire on a holiday Monday, she said the room would be $50 an hour until we left. We had just stayed 3 days and felt that was uncalled for given the circumstances. We were dependent on a tow truck, a tire shop and an uber to all fall into place just right on a holiday Monday (tire was flat on a Sunday and we could not get a new one until Monday but Monday was Presidents’ Day). We were looking for 2 pm. Obviously all unusual circumstances resulting in us scrambling to make it all work so we sought the hotels help and got the hard line from the person at the desk. We weren’t out of our room right at 1 pm (we left at 1:30) and were charged $75 by way of withholding a portion of our security deposit. We were shocked. Unacceptable and hardly a customer oriented business. We will never return and would not recommend this specific hotel.

Room was spacious and very clean. Staff was very friendly. The traffic around the hotel might be confusing to first time guests to the area. Very convenient location for going to the Pentagon or downtown DC.

This wonderful hotel gets a 10 on everything except location and convenience. It is located on 2-3 exits/side roads/service roads/ beneath the unbelievably treacherous confluence of I-95, I-395 and I-495, and hidden from view in a huge shopping complex. Even my GPS gave up! Very limited underground parking at $20/night. BUT....for the fearless, the property is FABULOUS. Free wine/beer/soup/salads/hors d'oeuvres every night until 7 PM. Immaculate, huge and GORGEOUSLY updated bathrooms with a ton of space. Everything is 10 if you are able to navigate WDC under this road stress. Lots of restaurants in the center, but sketchy beyond that. Close to touristy sites in WDC.

Great base for sightseeing. Only a couple of miles from the Franconia Springfield Metro which took us to the National Mall and memorials avoiding the DC traffic. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Hotel clean and rooms comfortable and spacious. Efficient friendly staff.

This is a fine place to stay. A bit of wear is showing but it was clean. The worst part about this location is the entrance and parking situation. It is very inconvenient. It is so inconvenient that I would not stay here again.

Conveniently off I95. Hotel and rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Hot buffet breakfast was decent. Only gripe was parking was additional fee.

We can cook meals. But from south find the entrance is the difficult, you have to make turn several times

Suites are comfortable, price was reasonable, staff was super kind and breakfast was good, really appreciated the extra mile with tacos & salsa for breakfast plus the ocasional social snack in the evening

Great free breakfast! Room was clean and comfortable and the front desk staff was very nice!

We chose this hotel for location to DC and access to bus and Metro system. Would highly recommend this hotel!!! We left our car in the parking garage, picked up the bus on the corner!! Hotel staff was great, breakfasts were very good. The only complaint i would have is to have different waffle batter and toppings and to have a variety in eggs like omelets too.

Clean room and great breakfast!

One of the dining staff members was very rude to us (a family with little children) to the point that we had to beg for forks & knives because she wouldn’t let us have them at 9:03 am. Finally she pushed the entire container of forks in our hands because she was angry.
