The property is lovely and well-maintained, quiet and peaceful. It’s a bit out of the way, not walkable to town or shops. Lovely views from balconies. Room was dated but clean with good amenities. The bed could be comfier - thin blanket and bedspread. The breakfast was a bit limited but good, including delicious quick breads made by the owner. The front staff are wonderful.

Beautiful view of the water and beach. Parking right in front of your door. Nice pool and sitting area. very Clean Convenient to downtown area but a drive about 10 minutes. Friendly staff and owner. Well maintained gorunds Dog friendly whit dog park altho I didn't bring one.

Nice size room, very clean, nice view. Little touches like beach towels, glass coffee cups and umbrellas. Accessible to everything and the private beach is a short walk away. The owners are so friendly and helpful.

Very nice view. Room was very nice. No elevator, but we managed fine. TV was hard to find channels. Tell patrons to bring their passwords to stream. A new thing for future. Overall it was wonderful

Beautiful view of and walkable to Good Harbor beach which was a great benefit as with the new beach parking protocols you have to sign up 10 days in advance to go on the weekend! Another Huge plus was even though we had to check out at 11 we could stay on the property to use the pool all day and stay parked there to walk to the beach!

This place was amazing! The room had a fully equipped kitchenette with a stove and plates and utensils and everything! That was extremely convenient and we really appreciated that! The staff were also friendly and helpful and got us taken care of. Shoutout to Tia for getting us set up with our room!

Great stay. Very clean. Well kept. Staff friendly and welcoming . Flat 10 min walk to good harbor beach . 15 min to the creek side walking. We will stay here again. Bed was surprisingly comfortable for motel. Pool and view was also very nice.

Our room was very clean and had an exceptional view of the ocean. The property was well manicured and it was very pleasant just to sit out as well as eat and look at the ocean. It included a good breakfast and the staff was very friendly.

At check-in, Sandy, was extremely accommodating. Excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the room was very dated and had a musty smell. The linens, bedspread and towels were very old. The view from the room was very nice. I would not stay there again until the rooms are updated.

Robin at check in was delightful. The vista is an older property and thus the room is quite dated. That said, it was clean, and was as described. You actually get a coffee pot in your room, which was nice. Staff super friendly. Pretty view of the water. As long as you don’t mind a retro room it’s a win.

I'm have been a flight attendant for 46 years and needless to say I have stayed in thousands of hotel. I will give an honest review of the property. At check in the receptionist was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and professional. Upon entering the room I was a little disappointed at the size of the room, especially the bathroom. In my opinion it could have been much better designed as far as the layout. The view from my room #2 was partially obscured by two large trees on the property below the hotel. The shower in the bathroom was so small that I would imagine a person of size would have a difficult time. The breakfast was very minimal. I actually didn't return for the breakfast the second morning because it only consisted of Costco croissants and activa yogurt and fruit. (Banana or apple was offered). The overall property is exceptionally maintained. There are 2 major grocery stores very close by which was great. For me once was enough at this hotel. If I ever return to Gloucester I will look elsewhere.

Staff was friendly, and even let us borrow an umbrella for a rainy day. The room is an old school room, but very nicely done. Bed was firm, and by morning I was moving around a lot. Breakfast was nice, but limited. Views are great! I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in May for two nights, before the high season. The motel room was very quiet and had a clear view out to the ocean. We enjoyed eating on the room's small patio and also having breakfast on a large covered patio. Staff were helpful and friendly. I only wish the bed were firmer. Weekday rates are lower than the weekend rate.

We stayed at the Vista for 2 night and loved it. It was quaint, clean, and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. It had a little patio out back with views of the beach. Some of the other rooms had balconies. The had free, very basic, breakfast outside under a tent every morning. Coffee, juice, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, croissants,. It was great for us but not if you want a hearty breakfast. Downtown was about a 30-40 minute walk but they also had a taxi for $10 you could take. We forgot to bring sunscreen and the woman at the hotel ran over to her cabinet and gave us a full bottle. On our way home, I received a call from the hotel saying I left my pocketbook there. Since we were 30 minutes away, the woman at the hotel offered to mail it to me. Since I needed everything in it right away, we went back to get it. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back!

The view of the harbour made this motel worthwhile! The breakfast was nice but sparse and for the price we paid, I was expecting more. Nonetheless, I would stay here again because the location was great, the staff was friendly and it was clean and reasonably comfortable.

Decided to base here instead of Boston hotel as we had a car and made a cheaper option. Only thing it took over 1 hour to do the 30 miles to Boston. Breakfast was limited but I'm not sure if this is due to time of year. Nice area to base for traveling
