The hotel is luxurious, very clean and has great design. Loved the room size, very specious, upscale, cosy and thoughtfully decorated. It has sandy beach by the property with chairs and umbrellas. Restaurant is facing the ocean and provides great view and relaxing atmosphere. Swimming pool on the roof top is quit small and not meant for swimming but for soaking in the water. View from my room (city view) was not good with lots of electric wires and unattractive surroundings.

Nice hotel, very clean with upscale decorations. The room was rather small with a view of a roof, just a roof. The staff was friendly and very helpful. A gentleman helped us with our luggage even brought it to our room. The same gentleman was a shuttle (free) to and from a nearby restaurant. I was disappointed that we had to pay for parking and only valet parking.

One of the best things was the complimentary transportation to other places, back n forth! The rooftop pool & small jacuzzi was nice. Room balcony was a must! Very relaxing listening to the ocean.

Booked in for a quick winter getaway and had a fab time! Hotel is classic but beautiful, clean, cozy! Excellent service, beautiful bar and restaurant (we had the buffet breakfast for $24, totally worth it but menu a-la-carte looks great too), there’s a fitness center, fireplaces all around and in the Summer roof deck pool and bar plus hotel is right on the beach with stunning views so bottom line, the place to stay in Gloucester! Also, you can walk right into town and close by bakeries, cafes and other nice restaurants like Tonno and Ember & Oak! Last thing is that prices are obviously high in the Summer for this category of hotel but more than reasonable off season so highly recommended!

Outstanding in every way-exceeded our expectations! Stayed at this amazing property after our day in Salem. The entire staff could not be more accommodating-the valets, bartenders, servers, check-in staff all were wonderful. We enjoyed cocktails on the rooftop bar while watching the sun set, then had an amazing dinner at a fireside table in the gorgeous restaurant downstairs. Our room was meticulously clean and had every amenity possible. Cannot wait to return!

The Beauport is a beautiful hotel, with a roof top deck and pool, and lovely ocean views. The staff is friendly and very willing to help with anything and everything. The bed was very comfortable and both the bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean. Top notch hotel in every respect.

Liked most everything. Sat on their private beach enjoying the great weather. Had a great meal in their restaurant. One negative: the lighting in the bathroom was too dim. Barely usable when looking in the mirror. The hall mirror had NO lighting whatsoever making it totally useless.

This property is beautiful, but the noise level was unacceptable. My room sounded like a construction zone with bangs, booms, thumps, and loud voices all night. I did not sleep well while staying there. I did report it, but recieved a voucher for free breakfast due to the inconvenience. While I appreciated that effort, it was not sufficient for 4 nights of poor sleep in a 4-star hotel. Regardless, the property is quite beautiful, well-appointed, and well maintained. The staff was also very friendly. While I wont rule it out, I would have to think twice before booking this hotel again.

The Beauport was a perfect late winter getaway. The hotel staff were kind and helpful; the seafood was amazing - all meals and drinks were top of the line - the room and common spaces were impeccable clean and beautiful. Bed comfortable and decor just beautiful - a yearly tradition in the off season - Beauport is a must!

Need more staff at rooftop bar/pool. We had room 309 and were woken up by 0730 everyday with banging and furniture scraping. Apparently we were under the rooftop area. That was disappointing. Otherwise…we love The Beauport.

This was a beautiful place to stay. Our only complaint was the walls seemed thin. The neighbors stayed up late and we could hear their television until midnight. About 3am work began outside which woke us so overall the nights sleep was poor. Everything else was great.

Extremely thin walls. Granted it was a connecting type of room but I’ve been in many that had connecting doors but I’ve never so easily heard my hotel neighbors like I did with staying at the Beauport. Otherwise it was a good stay. * 15 dollar charge to park overnight?? In addition to what they charge per night?’ RIDICULOUS

We were pleased to find that the room offered a partial view onto the water. The bed was comfortable, and we liked the size of the bathroom and showering area. Our only concern was some noise around midnight or room from the room above us -- loud thumps and running. It awoke my partner. Curfew at the hotel starts at 11pm, if I recall correctly, so this was unpleasant.

I only stayed one night. It was a Saturday to Sunday. My room overloaded a parking lot and wear house. That was no problem, however at 2:30 AM Sunday the wear house opened a metal door and began unloading an 18 wheeler. The constant beep beep of the forklift backing up as it was taking off stock went on until a little after 4AM …so no sleep. When I called the front desk to ask what could be done I was told to turn up the A/C. It was in the 30’s outside so I didn’t even consider that option, and since the room had modern cooling, the AC would not be loud enough to block the noise like a unit in a cheap motel. In the morning I spoke with the front desk who explained that I had gotten a lesser quality room because I booked through Hotels.com and it was up to that booking agent to warn me of possible noise issues. So… bottom line, the answer was you can get a better price, a nice looking room, view is a 50/50 shot, however sleep is not a guarantee due to noise. They offered a parking credit which I declined. I wasn’t looking for money, I was angry (and still am) and didn’t want to have this happen to another guest !!! Also not nice to dump it on Hotels.com. Very poor customer service from a beautiful looking hotel.

Hotel is nice but for the cost…not 4 star quality. Came for our wedding anniversary. People vaping outside the doors. Employees talking and swearing in a group outside the doors. There also appears to be only one stairwell/set of stairs in the building. Being on the opposite side of the hotel, if there was a fire in the middle of the hotel floor I don’t think we’d survive. Also, the biggest issue…. The air conditioning. We run hot and it is summer. We like it cool at night. No matter how low you set the AC it won’t get above 72. Slept very poorly both nights because we were warm. Hotel pool and roof is nice but small. We were charged for other peoples’ drinks and it took way too long for them to fix. Housekeeping knocked on our door and we were about to leave and i asked them to come back in 10 min…. They gave me attitude. We paid almost $900 for two nights and I wish I had spent it elsewhere.

Overall, the property was beautifully decorative. My wife and I celebrated our 18 year anniversary. We just stayed one night. Unfortunately, the day was on the work week and we had a babysitter for one night only. It was quick yet unforgettable. The only set back was the bar tender who was drunk and rude. So rude that her co-worker immediately apologized after she made a remark and walked away. Aside from that brief interaction, we enjoyed ourself greatly.

We were disappointed that we weren’t advised upon check in that we should make dinner reservations for the hotel restaurant. We had to go find another restaurant for Saturday evening. Otherwise, the stay was fabulous!

Great property. It's right on the beach. You can get a ride anywhere nearby. You can walk to restaurants and the memorial boardwalk. The room is very simple for almost $600..It just overlooked the sandy parking lot and nearby college.,but the rooftop pool was warm and amazing. It changed colors and overlooked the sea. You could walk into it with your cocktail, while listening to fun music. That experience alone brings it up a star.

The hotel was situated right on the ayer and had its own little private beach. We visited in November and although it was quite chilly we relished the sound and smell of the ocean and slept with the slider partially open at night to optimize our stay. Having our own private balcony with an ocean view was well worth the extra money. The hotel is beautiful, and well situated near many restaurants, many of them within walking distance. We loved going across the street to Mom’s Place for breakfast where we were greeted with a smile and were well cared for by Isla. Food was delicious and well priced. We were within walking distance of the Fisherman’s Memorial and a beautiful state park. We hope to make Gloucester a regular vacation spot and will be back at the Beaumont soon!

My daughter and I have spent a few days here for the past several years. We enjoy the ease of going to Good Harbor beach or spending a day at the roof top pool. The rooms are spacious and clean - the turn down service leaves the most delicious milk chocolate nonpareils on the bed! The food at the hotel is delicious and the staff is very nice. We usually go out to one of the local restaurants that is within walking distance at least once. The hotel is a little pricey but worth it.
