Stayed for a couple of nights in the middle of winter. It was quiet, warm, comfortable, clean, and the restaurant downstairs is the sort of place the locals eat in by choice. You can pay a lot more and get a lot less than this. We'll probably be heading back.

It was a nice room, and I know this isn’t the motel’s fault but there was a really annoying barking dog on the floor… I’m assuming the motel allows pets? I don’t know but it definitely is the reason I’m docking a star. Food at the onsite restaurant was good we had dinner and breakfast there.

The toilet did not flush with enthusiasm. When brought to the attention of staff they came right away and checked it out. The staff said that one must hold the flush lever until all the water left the reservoir. To me the siphon of the toilet is inadequate and the toilet needs an upgrade or there is something else wrong. The room requires at least one chair as there is no place to sit. Air conditioner was noisy even on low fan, however it worked well. Room and linen were clean, beds comfortable.

Tout était parfait sauf la tranquilité: à 6:00 du matin, chaque matin un groupe de jeunes gens criait très fort sans se soucier des gens des autres chambres. Nous l’avons signalé au propriétaire le matin de notre départ.

About 5 years ago, I have been at this hotel... but now it is entirely different: new owners, clean rooms, kindly welcome, quick and friendly chek-in, etc... And a very good restaurant in the same building. My wife and me, we had a very pleasant stay. Complete satisfaction! Number one hotel! Very good price! We'll come back as soon it'll be possible.

Our car broke down and we were towed to Lac-Megantic. I found the hotel on Expedia and it turned out to be a great find. The check in was quick and easy. Room was good size and very clean, and beds comfortable. But the best part was the hospitality of the owners. We asked for later check out as our car was still in a shop. This was readily accommodated without extra payment. They were also very reluctant to accept gratuities, we had to insist. We highly recommend this hotel

Our car broke down and we were towed to Lac-Megantic. I found the hotel on Expedia and it turned out to be a great find. The check in was quick and easy. Room was good size and very clean, and beds comfortable. But the best part was the hospitality of the owners. We asked for later check out as our car was still in a shop. This was readily accommodated without extra payment. They were also very reluctant to accept gratuities, we had to insist. We highly recommend this hotel

The buidling shows it's age, however the rooms and facility were clean. The service was great. We found that the stay was a good value for your money and would stay there again.
