The breakfast was minimal and we were told to take it back to our room as the space was limited. There was no elevator, I don't remember seeing anything in writing about that when I booked. We had to carry our bags up one flight of stairs.

Great location. Right beside the wharf, ocean, park. Walkable to shops, grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants. Had a secure room for our e-bikes where we could lock them up and charge them overnight. We’ve stayed here a few times and we will return. We love Sidney!

Convenient to walking downtown and the oceanfront boardwalk. Very good restaurant next-door with great Italian menu. No elevator to second floor rooms so managing a big suitcase up the stairs was difficult. Not enough parking stalls near the front entrance. The breakfast brew was too small and you had to take food up to your room, which was small.

Sidney is a fun town to walk around. There are lots of interesting small shops and great bookshops. The Waterfront Inn is a comfortable and convenient place to stay with lots of easy parking but be aware there is no elevator and you have to climb a flight of stairs to the upper rooms.

We loved the location and were lucky to get the ocean view! Staff was so helpful with directions and reccomendations. We didn't know about their bikes and were surprised that we could borrow them at no charge. We had a lovely day biking along the waterfront. We will be back for sure!

Location is the only good thing about this place... And to be fair, it's great!! If you want to feel like you're in 1992, step in a room at this hotel. And BTW, no elevator... always nice with 2 full size bags just before a flight... Never again !!

I realize the building is older, but the condition of the accommodations did not justify the price. The carpet was damp, musty, and had an unpleasant odor. The flooring appeared very unclean, and I even noticed blood on the bathroom railing, which was very concerning from a hygiene and safety perspective. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not consider returning.

The property is old and our room had not been renovated. The bathroom was not clean and the white bedding had stains. There was also noise from people walking on the floor above us. The staff were nice enough. I would not stay at the hotel again, nor recommend it.

A spotless, cozy property with an ocean view and bedside lamps you can read by. Lots of wonderful shops and restaurants close by. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast too. Will definitely be staying here again!

The front desk staff were amazing. Unfortunately the cleaning staff struggled to complete tasks. Cleaning product was left in our room, beds were made with covers still wrinkled underneath and pillows tossed various ways, coffee pot not emptied or cleaned. Loved the location, would recommend second floor room as facing a busy parking lot has no privacy.

Rooms were a bit dated but clean. Could hear when neighborsing room.took.a shower .The room that was depicted in photo was not the roo. I was checked into. I was told later thae room in the photos would cost additional $100 per night season dependent. I stayed more than one night but put in back older area. Most staff were helpful, but not all. Location was convenient.

Great location, far exceeded the usual “continental” breakfast, extremely comfortable bedding and pillows, clean, room was well-appointed with a cute balcony with good view of water and sea wall walk (unfortunately parking lot is in the foreground). The property is older and that shows in some details. Would stay again.

Staff convinced me to upgrade to their high end room, in part because it was serviced by an elevator and had a Jacuzzi tub. Although it had a very nice view vs the room we had selected through Hotels.com it was very far out of the way from the main hotel where breakfast was served and the Jacuzzi tub did not work! When we called the desk about it they told me that it hasn't worked for a while. We were very disappointed.

Room was large. Linens and towels were nice and soft. Bed was a little hard but that's just a personal preference. Continental breakfast had a lot of hot and cold options. View of the water from the room was very nice. Location was perfect. Walking paths, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and pubs all around. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The first morning in the breakfast room the attending lady was utterly rude. She pushed her way in front of people to fill the fridge and slammed things around, it was ridiculous. Front staff were not very friendly either. They just stared at the computer screens and never greeted you

room clean , friendly staff. However management needs an upgrade. They take a room deposit, and immediately put it in their bank account! And then refund it to you in a few days! They collect the interest, and the customer is out the cash! Never experienced that before! It's a management issue - and they should reconsider like most hotels -- take a quick look at the room when guest is checking out, and only then put it in their pocket if needed, no cash it first and pay back later!

Right on the main restaurant and shopping area. Made to feel very welcome. We arrived on a Thursday which was perfect timing due to the street market from 4:30 to 9:30. Beacon Street is closed off and local food, produce, jewellery….etc set up stalls. The hotel provides a continental breakfast from 06:30 to 10:30. A great place to stay before returning to the mainland on the ferry. The ferry is only 10-15 mins away. Two minutes away from the pier.

It was easy to check in a little early and the room had a beautiful view of the water. I was able to walk into town and there were several restaurants to choose from. I also picked this location because it was close to the airport and I had an early morning flight.

This a very dated property. Wasnt spotless. Poor parking. Oceanview is like you can kind of see the water but kind of not. Hot breakfast was to start at 6:30 but the hot items were not in the serving room by 7 and only 2 small tables in the dining room for eating. Very overpriced for what you get.
