We stayed four nights in a room with balc9ny and kitchen but with no bkf. The room is big and tidy. One if the two lifts was out of order during our period. Parking spaces are limited and we had to park elsewhere. Close to tourist spots.

Great location and comfortable rooms, we just happened to be there when one lift was out and this made getting to and from our room tricky, we generally opted to take the stairs instead of waiting for the one remaining lift to be available.

The hotel is overpriced. Looked better online than it really is. Still a great hotel, though. Clean and comfortable. The gym is not good, very basic and lacks weights. Same as the sauna - it wasn't even working most of the days I stayed there. The phone in the room wasn't working, so I couldn't call the receptionist anytime. The breakfast is VERY average and super overpriced, it also looked much better online than it truly is. The area though is amazing, very central and easy to get around.

We liked this property. It was located close to Checkpoint Charlie and lots of transit options. We had a ground floor room which was nice to look out and see people walking by. The advert said laundry, unfortunately it didn’t mention paid laundry located in the basement rather than in the rooms. Had to buy wash and dry tokens and was told dryer was down one level (basement). Took laundry down, all basement doors locked and nothing indicating a laundry room. Went back to reception and was told it’s in the WC (watercloset, meaning washroom). Never would have guessed that. Machines are really small. Travelling carryon only for 2 weeks we need good laundry facilities so this was disappointing. The apartment itself was clean with a large shower. Bed was kinda hard, but not the worst I’ve slept on. Kitchen had good supplies.

Reception staff were friendly. Accommodation excellent. The elevator closer to our room was out of order. The lounge and bar were closed due to no staff. The lighting in the corridors were very dark. Don’t know what ambience this was trying to create.

Very courteous and helpful staff. The room was large and kitchenette was well stocked. There was a Nespresso machine in the room, but no coffee, sugar or creamer. I was able to get some at the front desk. The parking situation at the hotel (and Berlin overall) was frustrating. The hotel has a handful of parking spot in a parking garage. There are no other parking garages in the area. The first night all of their spots in the garage were full so we had to hunt for a parking spot in the surrounding area. The second night one opened up in their garage that we were able to take. Overall the hotel was nice, clean and had a friendly staff. The only complaint is the parking situation.

Generally I would recommend the hotel. The only reason not to give five stars is the cleanliness of the bathroom. Black mold in the shower should not be allowed to develop and not be removed.

Zimmer war unsauber, in der Mikrowelle ist scheinbar mal was explodiert und wurde nie gesäubert. Lichtschalter waren dreckig, ebenso die Wände und auch das Bad. Im Bad hat der Abfluss extrem nach fäkalien gerochen. Ich musste die Tür zum Bad also immer geschlossen halten. Habe das alles an der Rezeption angemerkt, hat aber dann doch niemanden interessiert. Habe einen Abend vorher ausgecheckt damit ich am nächsten Morgen nicht lange warten muss, da hieß es Firmenadresse ist hinterlegt. Am nächsten Morgen war dies nicht so und ich sollte nochmal das Frühstück zahlen obwohl ich dies beim Check in schon getan habe. Zum Glück hatte ich den EC Beleg dabei, eine Rechnung wollte mir man nämlich erst am Chekout geben…. Nie wieder!

Our room was perfect, well equipped and spacious. The bed was very comfy, the shower was incredible and it was all very clean. It was really quiet too so we slept well. It was perfectly situated to get around Nerlin eadily. We'd definitely return.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut um zu Fuß bzw. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln die Stadt zu erkunden. Parkplätze sind in der näheren Umgebung auf der Straße vorhanden, eine kurze Suche ist allerdings notwendig. Das Hotel selbst ist ein wenig abgewohnt und die Sauberkeit lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig (Silikonfugen in der Dusche, staubige Ecken). Sehr ruhige Umgebung. Trotz Feuerwerk konnten wir recht gut schlafen. Die Matratze war für unseren Geschmack ein wenig zu hart.

Camera con macchia grande sul pavimento e sul divano, incorstazione tra i saponi della doccia e del lavandino e muffa e sporco alla base delle guarnizioni della doccia. Il telefono c'è ma è tutto rotto e staccato, i mobili presentano ammaccature e sgraffi. L'acqua calda tuttavia è presente ed anche il riscaldamento. È chiaro che si necessita maggior cura e manutenzione. Ho pagato troppo per ciò che ho trovato. La zona intorno alla struttura è trasandata e non così vicina alla fermata della metro

Caught an early flight so made our way to the hotel around 11am to drop off our bags off and our room was ready! Rooms were big, nice and clean. Had everything you would need from shower gel to saucepans. The balcony was nice to sit out on. Very close to checkpoint Charlie and the stations you would need to get around. Would definitely recommend

Clean and quiet hotel in a great location for site seeing - and a 2 min walk to the supermarket. Only wish is that the beds were a bit more comfortable, but other than that it was a really nice hotel for the price!

It was a quiet place with a balcony. Felt more like an apartment in the city. Not a lot of chárqcter in the rooms but totally function able and comfortable. There is a great store around the corner for all your cooking needs.

Overall, my stay was very good. No real complaints. The staff were friendly. The room clean and comfortable. The only negative is that rooms are not air conditioned. So, if it is a hot day the room will be too hot to sleep in.

Room looked nothing like the photos on the one I booked. No air con, the room was upwards of 34°. The reception staff claimed they couldn't understand English when I asked about air con/fan they said there was one in the room. I insisted there wasn't. They said they would try and get one but it seemed like they couldn't be bothered. A fan was delivered to the room but was completely ineffective. When I said that we couldn't stay there and asked for a refund, they shrugged their shoulders and said because we booked through Hotels.com we weren't entitled to a refund. The customer service was appalling. We booked a different hotel, more central and with air con for less money and helpful and friendly staff. DO NOT GO TO MONDRIAN SUITES you do NOT get what you pay for!

It's an excellent choice for the independent traveller. Very central, with excellent transport links, although the courtyard it overlooks is a little bit run-down. However, the staff are extremely helpful and all speak English well. The rooms are, as the name suggests, more small apartments than hotel rooms, and are very well appointed, with pretty much everything you'd have at home apart from a washing machine. Very good sound insulation and blackout curtains and a shower so powerful and hot you could both flay and cook yourself if you were so inclined. My only criticism is that the WiFi (which is good) is limited to two devices during your stay.

The apartments are large and they have some really nice elements - such as the balcony, big shower and Molton Brown toiletries - but there are just little things that lose it marks, like a lack of aircon, scuffs on most walls, an old and unresponsive TV, and a few missing bits from the kitchen, like kitchen roll.

Really lovely apartment just minutes from check point Charlie and the Kochstrasse u bahn. Shopping options really close by with Lidl and a whole foods store within an easy 2 min walk. The apartment was very quiet, well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Only downside was the 1 English speaking channel on the tv, which you could fix by taking a Google tv or by casting. Would recommend and stay again.

Praktisk fräsch, ren lägenhet med sparsamt utrustat litet kök för två personer och balkong Diskmaskin fanns, men inga disktabletter. Vår lägenhet låg ut mot gatan och enda minus var ljudnivån. Tidig morgon/förmiddag ljud från byggarbetsplats bredvid där man rev ner ett hus och från sen eftermiddag till kring 2-3 på natten mycket hög ljudvolym från närliggande bröllopslokal och/eller nattklubb i princip varje kväll (var där fyra nätter) Lägenheten hade ingen luftkonditionering så balkongdörren var öppen hela tiden och kunde ej stänga ute ljudet. Men läget bra och nära till kaféer, mataffär och bagerier om man istället ville göra egen frukost/mat. Också nära till U bahn och bussar.

Tidig morgon/förmiddag ljud från byggarbetsplats bredvid där man rev ner ett hus och från sen eftermiddag till kring 2-3 på natten mycket hög ljudvolym från närliggande bröllopslokal och/eller nattklubb i princip varje kväll (var där fyra nätter) Lägenheten hade ingen luftkonditionering så balkongdörren var öppen hela tiden och kunde ej stänga ute ljudet. Men läget bra och nära till kaféer, mataffär och bagerier om man istället ville göra egen frukost/mat. Också nära till U bahn och bussar.

Serviceable hotel. No AC, but a fan was available in the room. Balcony and Nespresso machine were nice to have. Cleaning staff very eager to get us to leave, as they came into the room without knocking 3 times between 9 and 11 on checkout day. Location was good with only a short walk to metro, food and shopping.

Second time staying as we love the rooms and location. This time however there was a 1.30am fire alarm. This cannot be helped by the staff but the disappointing part was the lack of communication from the staff at this point. Then on returning to the room there was some kind of very noisy vent, on speaking to reception about this, the gentleman was very unhelpful with just a shrug saying there was nothing he could do: no fix, no room change, no earplugs, no amended check out. The lack of any sort of sympathy or help was a very disappointing end to and otherwise lovely stay.

We checked in a bit late - around 10pm. The receptionist spoke poor English and struggled to get across important information to us. It became unclear what we were getting charged for and I had to use my translate app to work it all out. I know it sounds pretentious to expect German receptionists to speak great English, but we experienced better levels of English from almost every other German person we interacted with on our trip.

Summary: good hotel let down by dangerously bad fire safety and communication. Apartment was relatively clean and well appointed, and the other facilities excellent. Area was convenient with good transport links, if a little run down. However, the way that the staff handled a fire alarm on our third night means I cannot recommend staying here. I understand that false fire alarms happen, so I'm not penalising them on that, but there were no visible staff at any point. This meant there was no marshalling of the crowd, no roll call to make sure everyone had evacuated, and we were not informed when the fire brigade had given the all clear. I have no confidence the staff would handle a real fire in a better manner, which could easily result in someone becoming trapped.

Very handy for Kochstraße/Check Point Charlie - 5 mins walk away. Couple of bakeries nearby and a pharmacy type store. Most places within the old East area around the museums and Alexanderplatz are around half hour walk, and the Brandenburg Gate about 20 minutes. Local authority or whoever could’ve maintained the grass area better nearby, no fault of the accommodation. Didn’t have any travel adapters though the hotel booklet said they had them on request. Some rowdy teenagers staying on our last night, no real grip of that situation. However, all minor, the places was clean, convenient, friendly staff. Would stay again.

Great location, in a quiet area of the city, very easy access to underground, Checkpoint Charlie 5mins away, Jewish Museum 2mins away. The accommodation overall was nice, rooms quite spacious, comfortable and the little kitchenette was useful for preparation of our own breakfasts. Recommended and definitely will book again when in Berlin.

Property itself was nice. Easy access to public transportation. Area around property was suspect. Just a little dirty and unkept. Rooms are nice, not great. They charge you for breakfast everyday which is the same thing everyday, do yourself a favor and go out to eat breakfast if you want some. Staff is friendly. Hotel does have a sauna and small fitness room.

The hotel is overpriced. Looked better online than it really is. Still a great hotel, though. Clean and comfortable. The gym is not good, very basic and lacks weights. Same as the sauna - it wasn't even working most of the days I stayed there. The phone in the room wasn't working, so I couldn't call the receptionist anytime. The breakfast is VERY average and super overpriced, it also looked much better online than it truly is. The area though is amazing, very central and easy to get around.

Helt greit hotell i umiddelbar nærhet til Checkpoint Charlie. Noe slitt, men i det vi sjekket ut begynte oppussing i vår etasje. Renhold virker bra. Veldig harde senger, ikke god hvis man har vond rygg. Vi hadde 3 rom, det ene rommet stinket av sigaretter men det fikk vi byttet uten problem. Kjøleskap og platetopp så man fint kan ordne seg mat på rommet om ønskelig. Vi prøvde ikke frokosten på hotellet da den var noe dyr (€19 p.p) så vi fant oss heller et bakeri rett over gaten med nydelig mat og kaffe. Vi fikk en time ekstra før utsjekk uten ekstra kostnad. Alt i alt var vi alle fornøyde med oppholdet, ingen luksus men helt greit til noen dager i Berlin relativt sentralt til det meste.

Great location if you want to be near Checkpoint Charlie. There's a Lidl supermarket around the corner. We stayed in the apartment which is great for families. It has a bedroom, living room with a sofa bed and a kitchen. The apartment is sparsely decorated, but it's a good value for the money.

Unfortunately there is a construction ground just next door, which does not make the place as convenient as it normally will be. There is a discounter just next door so easily access… The flat is nicely equipped with a kitchen, I would have appreciated a little more plates and glasses as the dishwasher has to was almost empty to have something to eat or drink from…
