Property in bad shape. Outside: Grass had not been cut for ? Swimming pool was covered in green slime Door to my room had to be drug across the floor so it would close Had not been painted for decades Inside: bathtub has a black something at bottom Sink faucet handles are reversed Hot is cold and cold is hot Towels and wash cloths almost see thru Coffee packets in room, but no creamer, sugar, or cups At check-in clerk said breakfast at 7 am. Next morning clerk said they don't do breakfast. Pointed me toward McDonalds. As a result, I have used Expedia for the first and last time. Never again. I will try to contact Red Roof Corp.

Old Property, ill-maintained, Unclean (w/in room and around broader property), noisy, no fire escape of other compliance instructions posted anywhere w/in room, room not completely weather-sealed (visible air gap in exterior-opening front door). Would not recommend unless (a) escaping a natural disaster, and (b) couldn't find better. (Both true in my case.)

Appalling is the word. Broken down cars in the lot, half a transmission on the sidewalk in front of my door. Parking lot reminded me of a refugee camp! Groups of people drinking with their trash strewn about. Most windows are broken or cracked. So many people with doors open smoking weed, dirty and literally making it look like a dangerous place for anyone to get caught. The pool is a green gooey pond of foul stench and has clearly been that way for years. We checked in around 9:45pm and we checked out 35 minutes later. No way in hell would I ever recommend someone to book a room there!

No ice bucket the room only had one towel door lock was broken off… The pool was non-functional… To be honest it was a complete disaster… The only good part about it was the bed was comfortable… So I guess you get what you pay for

Close to I 95 and supporting fast food Advertising Pool and photos of 10 years ago.Went so take a swim a98 degree day and the torn winter cover was srill on the pool.Was not even told upon checking in 1st room had 1 inch space under main door weather strip broken off.2and room had all electrical boxes pulled from wall furniture missing. No chair and table light fixture not working.Main door and bath door all scratched up by dogs.Front windows cracked .and wood rotted.Little to no maintenance done here for years.Trash and cigarette butts all over the exterior.Even the A/c in the lobby was not working and no sign on repair ongoing.Sheets were yellow and stained very disappointed that they can call it a Red Roof Inn The restaurant the advertised is a Tocco restaurant with the Tocco Truck parked out front.No one even asked at chrckout if we had a good stay (they were sure what would have been said)I would love to here from Red Roof Inn corp in regardd to this property and who inspects it.

If you are in transit and need a place to stay right off the I95, this is a great spot. Their staff is amazing. I met DJ and explained I was towing a trailer with a very expensive car inside, he explained where to park and also explained there is a camera on the trailer. There are a LOT of parking sports in the rear dedicated for large trailers. I saw 18 wheelers back there and it was safe. So if you are traveling with a trailer or large truck etc this is the spot to park. Also there is a Mcdonalds next door so you don't have to drive you trailer around before checkout time to get breakfast. If you want a quick stop off before continuing your trip, this place is great. Thank you again DJ for your kindness!

Rented 2 separate rooms - both rooms and both beds in each room had dirty sheets, mattress pads and top blankets. Asked the front staff for new bedding and she responded immediately, and manager actually came to room and changed the bedding. They were very responsive and apologetic. The clean bedding was stained and should be updated with new ones. The hair dryer did not work in one of the rooms and I made the office staff aware when we checked out. Also the hotel advertised breakfast. When asked, the staff noted they had not resumed this since Covid but it is still noted as having this.

This place should be closed. This is the worse experience I’ve had staying in any hotel. The whole place is dirty, terrible service, smell horrible. The rooms are dirty, they clearly don’t clean. The bedsheets are nasty with stains every where, the bathroom was not clean with hair in the whole bathtub. Avoid staying in this hotel. Do not trust the pictures

It was extremely dirty. There were broken items throughout. The floors were sticky. The towels were dirty. The bathroom doorknob was falling off. There was mold all over the bathroom, especially the ceiling. The pool was beyond disgusting- it was dangerous. Felt like we needed a shower after we checked out. Will NEVER return.

The room was not clean. Towels for use had old stains. One towel looked like it had been previously used.The bathroom faucet was dirty. No hot water in the sink or shower. The comforter in the bed had animal on the top. It was hidden by a coverlet that had old stains. Pets are welcome however there should be rooms set aside for people bringing their pets. I do not sleep in the same bed as my pet and I definitely don't want to sleep in a bed with someone else's.

Ghetto. Nothing is cleaned or has been cleaned (counters, curtains, lamps, floors near the bed I mean NOTHING). I was staying in rm 234. Makeup in the beds, refrigerator doesn’t work and is filthy.. it’s literally broken at the hinges. The around the toilet bowl was disgusting. No hot water to wash with.. really surprised no roaches or bed bugs were there that’s probably the only good news.

The bathroom had a similar odor, and the tub floor was so dirty that I had to put down a towel before stepping into it for a shower. The bed linens were stained and damp, as though they were soiled and left to air dry. All of this was horrible, but the worst thing was that the door to the room was broken, and the hinges were hanging loose. Because of this, the door did not lock properly and someone could simply turn the knob and force the door open. Needless to say, I cut my trip short, cancelled the extra day, and requested a refund from the front desk. The staff were the nicest thing I have to report about this place. If it’s all you can afford, go for it; but you will get what you pay for… You’ve been warned.

I've stayed here before and had a nice night in a clean room where everything worked. This last time...not so much. They put me in a room in the back part of the hotel. Oh this was a bad room! The shower was filthy with some sort of weird stains. The TV didn't work. There was no ice bucket in the room. The phone was not plugged in, nor was the floor lamp. The AC ran and ran but didn't really cool off the room. The parking lot and outside areas were beyond filthy. The room itself has a lot of sections of disrepair, such as the flooring and door jamb. This was room 149. They really need to fix everything in that room and clean up the areas outside before renting to anyone.

The reason for the low ratings was that, where the hotel was in good condition and clean, there was a lot of noise from other guests who were clanging metallic items, coming and going well into the night, with foot traffic back and forth outside the room and up and down the stairs, and loud voices. It was hard to get any rest until quite late - well after midnight.

The front desk gentleman was wonderful, even with our very late check-in. The room was basically clean, but in poor condition. To be fair, GA was experiencing cold, snow & ice never before seen, but we couldnt get the room warm, even with the unit set at 84 degrees.

Photos are not accurate to what majority of rooms look like. Terrible conditions, A/C didn't work and was hanging off the wall leaving an open gap to the outside. Incredibly noisy area and I guess the opening to outside didn't help there.

Rented 2 separate rooms - both rooms and both beds in each room had dirty sheets, mattress pads and top blankets. Asked the front staff for new bedding and she responded immediately, and manager actually came to room and changed the bedding. They were very responsive and apologetic. The clean bedding was stained and should be updated with new ones. The hair dryer did not work in one of the rooms and I made the office staff aware when we checked out. Also the hotel advertised breakfast. When asked, the staff noted they had not resumed this since Covid but it is still noted as having this.

The front desk gentleman was wonderful, even with our very late check-in. The room was basically clean, but in poor condition. To be fair, GA was experiencing cold, snow & ice never before seen, but we couldnt get the room warm, even with the unit set at 84 degrees.

We had a terrible experience in this place. 1. We got in really late at night and the room that was assigned to us had a broken door, broken bathtub floor in the bathroom, dirty toilet and the whole room smelled like smoke. So we had to go to the front desk which was in a totally different building from the one we stayed at, to change the room, and it was a very very frustrating situation. 2. The second room we got, was not clean, AC did not work (it was 102F outside), everything was dusty, the bed had stains everywhere. 3. The next day our key did not work because the front desk did not update our new room. So we had to go to the front desk again. When we came back to our door, the new key also did not work, because the person on the front desk confused the room number, so we AGAIN had to go back to the front desk to get the new key. 4. We did not get any room service the next morning either. We are never going back to that place EVER AGAIN. It was very pricey for this awful hotel and awful service. Very disappointing.

If you are in transit and need a place to stay right off the I95, this is a great spot. Their staff is amazing. I met DJ and explained I was towing a trailer with a very expensive car inside, he explained where to park and also explained there is a camera on the trailer. There are a LOT of parking sports in the rear dedicated for large trailers. I saw 18 wheelers back there and it was safe. So if you are traveling with a trailer or large truck etc this is the spot to park. Also there is a Mcdonalds next door so you don't have to drive you trailer around before checkout time to get breakfast. If you want a quick stop off before continuing your trip, this place is great. Thank you again DJ for your kindness!

I thought the rate was pretty fair, however when my young son and I arrived it was hard to understand the young lady behind the counter and I just had to walk out and figure it out on my own. Then as my child and I returned from dinner to the Red Roof Inn there were folks walking around in the parking lot that were coming from other parking lots and just loitering around parked vehicles of guests that were staying at the Red Roof. As we returned to the door of our room, there were three women outside of the room next to us at 9pm smoking marijuana out in the open and the smoke was enough for me to get a contact high, I really was in fear of what it was doing exposing my 6 year old to the second hand pot smoke and wasn’t trying to allow my child to get a contact high. We came into our “non-smoking” room and it reaked of marijuana and cigarette smoke. The floors were filthy. As I walked to the car again they were loud and using profanity so loud I had to ask my son to stay in the room and locked it up until I got right back from the parking lot. On my way down there were more people outside their rooms and in the parking lot smoking marijuana. I don’t care what people do with their own health but when it comes to my young minor child it’s not what I want to expose him to especially on a mini father son weekend get away. I will not be staying here again but may try to stay at the Holiday Inn express that appeared much cleaner and didn’t smell like an outdoor/indoor head shop.

I met DJ and explained I was towing a trailer with a very expensive car inside, he explained where to park and also explained there is a camera on the trailer. No one at desk upon arrival. Was met by a sign and waited 10-15 mins for desk clerk. Assigned room which had a dirty bedspread and a cigarette burn hole for a nonsmoking room. Clerk assigned new upgraded room which included a work desk for the upgrade. Taco restaurant was great!

We have stayed at this hotel many times over many years. It just gets shabbier with each year. The gentleman at the desk was very nice and check in was easy. The motel no longer provides breakfast. They have what looks like coffee/tea available in the lobby but that is also not so. I asked for a cup so we could heat water in the room microwave but he said they were ordered but did not have any at this time. The room was relatively clean but the TV remote and the telephone were dirty. The door to the room and the bathroom door were dirty and the paint was scratched, really big scratches. Looked like at one time a dog might have been put in the bathroom and spent a lot of time trying to scratch his way out. The people in the room next to us were extremely loud, opening and slamming shut the door constantly, standing outside talking yelling, swearing, and smoking until 2:30 am. At 11:30 we tried to call the office to ask if they would switch our room. That is when I discovered how dirty the phone was and also that the phone did not work. It was a very disappointing and long night. I'm afraid this will be our last visit there. I do not find joy in criticizing companies and realize some of this, noisy neighbors, is out of their control. But this was our experience on that night.

I have stayed in many budget hotels in Richmond Hill over the years, and this is by far the best. I give credit to the person who checked me in when i arrived. He gave me a room that would make it easy to unpack the car and to take the dog out when she needed. The room was fine and the bed was comfy. The AC worked fine. Couldn't get many channels on the TV -- less than basic. The pool was drained, not that we would have used it but if you do want to go for a swim, you are out of luck. I did not know that Pets stay free, and was super impressed by this. Would highly recommend if you are on a road trip and just need a place to sleep overnight.
