Nice large room on 2nd floor with balcony, tree was a little large for a view over the harbour. Pool was a little green and filter had a lot of old leaves in it. Air conditioner was nice and quiet. Car parking had lots of large spaces.

We gave this property such a low rating because the bathroon was mold ridden. In reflection, we should have refused to accept the room. My wife is asthmatic & a room with mold is a big red flag

Smoke detector on side of cupboard, cover did not look closed . Battery around wrong way and not connected . Air Cond , someone had cleaned the filters but not the housing around the filters . Evaporator full of dirt and mould . Air outlet covered in mould . Blankets in cupboard are very old and dirty , one smelt as if a dod had slept on it . Door frame for sliding door coming away from wall .

Shower took several minutes before it got warm, and even then it was on full. I was in a upstairs room facing a street, when there were several vacant rooms facing town, with a balcony. Room was clean and comfy, though.

I accidentally locked myself out of my room and called the after hours number on the reception door and the call went through to voice mail. I ended up having to sleep in my car. I sent them an email when I returned home and no-one has even bothered to reply. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Don’t advertise an after hours number if there isn’t any service!

My key wasn’t left in the after hours collection safe. Keys do not have guests names attached. I couldn’t make contact with staff as there was no after hours number. I took a key with a similar number (assuming the room number I was given was a typo) and left a note. I had about an hours sleep expecting someone to call me who was supposed to be in the room. I suggest making sure keys have guest’s names attached to avoid confusion if there’s a mistake with the room number. Man I spoke to on the phone to arrange after hours check in was very nice. Area was quiet.

Ageing but spacious motel. Customer service is extremely limited being only open between 2pm-6pm. Given a room that wasn't cleaned but quickly offered another one and given 50% refund.

This place is not flashy but was a nice overnight stay. It’s well equipped with crockery, a microwave and a decent size bar fridge. The bathroom is spacious and the hot water is really hot. Although it oversees the main road you barely hear the noise and it’s got a nice little outside area if you want to sit down and get some fresh air. If we ever need to stay in Gladstone again we will stay here

One of the worst motels I've ever stayed in. The room is in dire need of renovation. The room is dark, the only light is a lamp on the bedside table by the wall, so I can't even tell if the room was cleaned - I just didn't see it. But I got a full trash can from the previous guests. Parking is right in front of the door, but it's not your parking - guests from the second floor took this space and then drove in and drove out all night, not letting me sleep.
