The people are so lovely, it was so nice & clean, they even have a coffee machine in the bbq/pool area. The pool was beautiful & very clean as well as the spa. These people go above & beyond to make you feel welcome & to make sure you have all your needs. There was also just a lovely feel about the place. There’s even Netflix & many other options on the smart tv. I struggle to sleep through noise, but it was so peaceful & quiet! We wished we’d had longer to stay here.

The owners of the Aaron have gone above and beyond to supply guests with what they may need for cooking at the outdoor kitchen. The pool has a partial covering supplying some shade and is a very nice area for relaxing and visiting with other travellers. The rooms are really well maintained. On the ground floor, we had a patio with table and chairs outside the back sliding doors and was excellent for watching the kids playing basketball across the street and for just watching the world go by...

We have stayed in a number of motels in Australia and this one had the least charm, a grim location near no amenities and a room that was noisy and sticky (it needed a proper clean). At least it inspired us to be up very early!

My room was ground level. It smelt very badly like a stale b.o musty sweaty smell. I had to leave the glass sliding door open all day and night because of the smell. Doors locks are worn and seem like they been forced at some point. Bed was good. Has an old couch in the room. Not sure why. Park right outside the door is good. Staff are great. Location is great.

Nice shower, comfy bed, TV with netflix and decent wifi. Most importantly for me, the room was spotless and the motel quiet. Would I stay again? Sure. The lady on reception booked a cab for me to get to the marina. Thank you. Note, the motel is about a 20-25 minute walk from the train station, and 10-15 mins to CBD. McDonalds is 5 mins walk away. Gladstone is hilly! 😰

The room is more like a mini unit. Plenty of cutlery and crockery. Ice cubes were available in the fridge on arrival. Bathroom and room clean. Great value for money.

The renovations are very well done, in fact still in progress, and the result is a very comfortable stay. Furniture and fittings are also very good, bed is comfortable, decent size fridge, microwave, very nice bathroom, comfortable chairs. We'll be back when next we need to stay in Gladstone. One issue which needs to be addressed in our room 32 and maybe also in others is the height of the shower fitting. Great for tall blokes and women over 6 feet tall but as it is you cannot avoid getting your hair wet. If the ladies don't want to wash their hair every time they shower, this will be an issue.

Aaron Motel's facilities are way above any comparable establishment. New refurbishments (kitchen and bathroom areas) are excellent. Kitchen has conduction stove, microwave, dishwasher and all required utensils. Bathroom has spacious shower with both rain and hand-held shower heads. New integrated mirror lighting is really extraordinary for premises of this size.

Check in was very good - Ruth was very helpful and made me feel welcome after a long day riding my motorcycle. Even though there were refurbishments happening at this motel I was disturbed at all. A wonderful and comfortable stay.

We got in late and had made prior arrangement for late check in. The staff were helpful in that regard. Everything was in order, clean and fridge & coffee/tea service stocked up. It was a short few hours stay before heading over to the jetty for boat to Heron Island.
