Had a wonderful stay. The staff were extremely polite, professional and kind. Special thanks to Rajan, one of the housekeeping staff who is a very helpful and sweet person. Also this hotel has the grooviest funkiest elevator music among all the places I have been around the world!

Rooms are alright. Decent size and good open view. Breakfast spread is also excellent. However, room cleaning and facilities are quite below par. Sometimes they don't clean the room until 3 PM. It is like affordable version of TAJ for common people. Standards and quality is like TAJ while property location and infrastructure are more conducive to people using common transport system in the city. Very much value for money experience.

Stayed for 4 nights April 2025. Like: Very nice and welcoming lobby, Great staff. Ready to accomodate guest's needs with a smile. Restaurant caters to a variety of tastes. Housekeeping keeps room and bed clean. Fresh sheets and towel only if you need. Eco friendly operations. Staff checks rooms which have do not disturb light on twice a day if they need to be cleaned (housekeeping light on) Dislike: Location on a busy intersection makes road facing rooms noisy, even with heavy curtains pulled. Elevator needs to be checked and updated. Keys to reach rooms frequently stop working. I was asked to push and pull slowly. This worked at times. It should be fixed to be user friendly. A few guests expressed thensame opinion. Grout lines in baths (shower area room 442) to be redone to make it look cleaner. AC controls to be updated quite confusing.

The property was excellent in terms of cleanliness, service, accessibility to various places in the city. In addition the buffet breakfast and lunch spreads were huge and delicious. It being the Durga Pooja festival period all the possible delicacies were available.

The noise from the street traffic was unbearable and the window was not sound proof. The noise was incessant , continuous , especially for people traveling to India from countries where they are not use to this.

Lack of Proper information at check-in . My wife wanted to surprise me by paying for my room and she paid for my room before my check in. At my check-in I was told to make the payment in advance and I did . Later my wife told me she already paid for my room as a surprise .Refund was given to me later. Little smile was hard to find . Don't understand why. Over all it was a bad experience . I

My experience on the whole was quite enjoyable. The staff were polite and well-informed, with particular commendation to Bratati at the reception, who answered all my queries exceptionally well. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast menu; it was wonderful. The dinner, on the other hand, was satisfactory but not outstanding. Thank you for providing a delightful experience.

The only serious deficiency is the phone response of the the In-room dining. Mostly they don’t answer, and when they do, it’s difficult to communicate (is their intercom that bad?). That apart, the hotel provides an overall superb experience.

this is a nice hotel not far from the center of Kolkata. The city is quite easy access to this hotel. Hotel personnel were helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Arnav (Arnab?) in Mynt for his hard work and attention at breakfast. We found that room service food delivery was a bit on the slow side, maybe that's normal.

Could have been better check-in experience at 3:30 AM late at night -- we emailed the property that we would be late. The staff was good but seemed inexperienced. We are now staying in ITC Royal - will see how it goes.
