Hotel Grey

Sehr schön eingerichtetes, sauberes Zimmer. Allerdings hätte ich zum Wasserkocher und den Tassen auch Kaffee, Tee und ein paar Löffel gut gefunden, wie es sonst in dieser Preisklasse üblich ist. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu beanstanden, die Rezeption ist 24h lang geöffnet und zum Hotel gehört ein Restaurant, in dem man bis spät noch essen und trinken kann.

Very good - large clean room, good bed, excellent bathroom & shower. 6th floor - good lift, fortunately. Quiet. No public rooms, nor restaurant. Both unnecessary. Staff helpful & polite. If we return to Luxembourg, will book again. However - USB sockets in room would be a good idea. Small beef - we had adaptors.

Modern, clean, big shower. Right opposite the main train station, with lots of convenience stores nearby. Has a mini fridge and a safe.

Convenient location for transport links. A large room. No parking on site but there is excellent free bus services to the multi-storey car park on the outskirts of town.

Strong sewage odor coming from the shower drain. Had to keep the windows open all night. Slept poorly due to all the noise from the street.

Excellent, modern, clean hotel

Just in front of the Luxembourg Train Station. Clean room. Interior decoration is great.

歯ブラシスリッパはあり、インスタントコーヒーや紅茶もあったが、３泊したが補充交換はなかったはなかった。 駅の近くでどこに行くにも便利で館内は清潔だったが、排水溝がつまり気味でシャワーを時々止めないと流れない。そして悪臭が酷かった。それ以外は特に問題なかった。

I noticed some stains on the bed sheets and curtains! I didn’t feel safe in the neighborhood! The elevator is super tiny!

Die Unterkunft ist Super gelegen, wenn man Luxemburg mit der Bahn besucht. Die Altstadt/ Stadt ist über die kostenlose Straßenbahn sehr gut zu erreichen. Das Frühstück bekommt man nicht direkt im Hotel sondern in einem schönen Restaurant direkt am Bahnhof. Beim Frühstück kann man wählen was man essen möchte, die Qualität ist gut. Das Hotelzimmer war sauber und ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt braucht.

部屋がお洒落できれい！駅からすぐで、観光スポットまでも歩けるし、近くにトラムも走っていて便利。買い物スポットも周辺に沢山。受付の皆さん優しい。ルクセンブルクにまた来ることがあれば、またここに泊まりたい！

It’s below zero degree outside but the room was hot even when we turned off the heat. Don’t know what happened. Luckily the windows could be opened !!!

The room is ok with good heating, and it appears clean, but... Clogged drain in shower making water run all over. Bathroom door is stuck because of old overflow of water (from drain being clogged), breakfast is not in the hotel, but at the trainstation. Good breakfast, but very inconvenient. Very poor isolation, you hear everything (construction in the next building), and very poor neighbourhood as with all hotels near the transtation.

This is a nice clean hotel. However, the shower in the room is see through so anyone taking a shower will be seen by others in the room. Also, we woke up to "explicative... this blah blah blah" yelling in the street as well as some other street drama. It\'s really close to the train station, so that is nice.

Our shower flooded every single time we took a shower. The first time, it flooded our entire room. A staff member came and cleaned it up but blamed it on us and told us we used the shower wrong. Apparently you are only allowed to shower here by holding the wand in your hands. She then proceeded to tell us that it was a known issue and the entire building was designed incorrectly. We had to have extremely short showers for the rest of our stay and the bathroom flooded every time.

Overall good stay and good location. Breakfast is at a restaurant in the train station and is well worth the cost. Pillows were less than ideal. Important to note..the shower has a viewing wall, you will see the person showering. Not sure if all rooms are the same. No curtain to close or privacy screen. It was ok for us but could be awkward for others

Every two out of three rooms per floor appear to have bathrooms fully exposed to the guest room with no way to screen.

Very small room, AC difficult to calibrate

Staff helpful, room clean and quiet, water temperature uncontrollable, no matter how you turned the tape control, most of the time the outpour was hot and cold interchanged.

AC is not available, during booking they should have inormed me that ac so be kept off. By leaving the widow open the noise of the city was disturbing.

For people coming/going to Luxembourg on the train, the hotel can't be any better located, it is literally across the road from the front entrance to the train station, about 3mins walk if you catch the lights wrong. There seems to have been a few updates to the place since they added their page here, the "hotel restaurant" now seems to be a sushi/bobun restaurant, when I came in on Saturday evening the smell of Asian food was quite strong in the reception area as the connecting door to the restaurant was open, and the receptionist had actually to close the hall door on at least the 1st floor so the smell didn't get down to the rooms. I didn't go for the breakfast so I'm not sure what the layout is at breakfast time. The rooms themselves were quite nice, with a bit more space than I'm used to in France. Their definition of "en suite" for the bathroom is stretching it a bit though, the only part of the bathroom that is separate to the main room is literally the toilet itself, and the sink and shower are in the main room. When you are sitting on the bed, you are literally looking straight at the clear glass doors of the shower stall! This is definitely not a hotel room for 2 friends sharing, or two people who aren't totally 100% comfortable with knowing everything about each other. I have been in many hotel rooms in my life, and this is the first time I've ever seen this layout.

On three occasions I told three different people at the front desk that the AC wasn’t working properly. The first day was a bank holiday, so I thought “whatever.” The second day, someone came, attempted to fix it, to no avail. I let them know again. This time, for the last day and a half, they didn’t even send someone else. The front desk staff were all kind, they just didn’t care to help (or the maintenance team; I don’t know which). The room was very humid and the housekeeper gave me a light sheet (vs the duvet) because she knew how hot it was.

This was the perfect place for our one night stay in Luxembourg. Easy to find and the check-in/out process was so easy. Staff spoke English and offered suggestions around the hotel for breakfast.

The staff were friendly and approachable. The room is small and bed is comfortable. The property is in a great location with plenty to see and do and restaurants. Train and trams are literally 70 meters away. Road construction on the corner ourside the hotel was a big negative but will be done soon by the look of things.

Hotel is in a convenient location right across from the station but there are some undesirables that seem to hang around on the street outside at all times of the day. Check in was great and had high hopes but I had booked a superior room but had no natural light (window faced other windows and a wall) and the bed was small and uncomfortable. It was also really warm and the aircon was noisy and ineffective. The worst part was being made to feel like a criminal on returning from a day trip as the staff had charged us incorrectly at check in. I was not aware and was very rudely told to pay over €100 euros upon entering back into the hotel. The hotel had deactivated our room keys. This was staff error but they made us feel as though it was something we had done. I didn’t appreciate being treated in this way. I wouldn’t return.

Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Both mornings they gave me a wake-up call exactly on time.

Really great hotel for a good price. The front desk are very helpful and knowledgeable.

We went to Luxembourg for a night and the room was perfect for that. It’s close to the transit center and only a 20 min walk to the old town.

Many noises from construction work and also local people outside

nice place to stay in and very convenient to rail & tram, however the area around didn't feel safe with various groups of males congregating close by. Our wives definately didn't feel safe. Otherwise nice enough hotel and comfortable to stay in

Excellent location; main train station is across the street. Shops, eateries and supermarket are within walking distance.

Very handy to the railway station and excellent bus connection to the airport. Easy walk to the old city center and tourist sites.

Todo está muy bien con el hotel, excepto que la zona se encuentra en obra, y hay mucho ruido desde temprano. Más allá de eso, excelente opción para visitar una maravillosa Ciudad. Literalmente esta enfrente de la estación de tren, y a unos 400 metros del inicio de la zona turística. Muchos lugares para comer y beber alrededor. Bien todo.

Couldn’t be closer to the train station.

A 2 pas de la gare centrale, très pratique. Lit confortable, belle chambre. Seul petit détail, secteur en construction et rue passante, donc un peu bruyant. Très bon service :)

Misleading representation in info provided on booking and hotel information. No mention about breakfast being off site. If I wanted to walk to the station and eat there I would have chosen that option. Confirmation of booking said it was buffet breakfast - it was not - it was a limited and served option. Hotel information stated laundry facilities - there were none on site. Hotel decor was tacky / etched glass in shower of a posing woman and black/white/ted scheme was 80d inspired. Hotel has odd smell. Perhaps worst value I’ve ever had in a hotel.

Nice and small hotel just in front of the station. People at the reception very nice. Good breakfast which is served in a Restaurant just beside the Train Station. Rooms smelling food coming from the chinese restaurant below.

Room clean and well located opposite station. Very expensive like all Luxembourg hotels. Breakfast is at nearby restaurant and was good but not really worth 25 Euros.

My second time at grey hotel. Great hotel, friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Will definitely be back there when next I’m in Luxembourg.
