Forenom Hostel Vantaa Airport

Ankom til Helsinki meget sent og skulle bare have en overnatning. Langt at gå fra lufthavnsterminalen, med en bagagevogn. Men det er noget usselt; belysningvar neonrør i loftet. et TV der ikke duede, et køleskab som stod og brummede hele natten, gardiner som ikke sluttede tæt. Toilet og bad på gangen var ok.

Great location gets you everywhere although check in was rough problems with getting and maintaining the codes to get into the room and facility was made to use back entrances for some reason and other guests almost burning down the building by accident only then did the staff do their jobs & no hot water in the showers that's as fair as I review I can give

Et greit billig overnattingssted, hvis man ikke har behov for fullt horell med middag og frokost.

Clean and organized budget hostel! Many restrooms, showers and kitchens throughout different levels. In room microwave, coffee machine, electric hot water kettle, mini fridge, tv and cabinets for your stuff. Literally 15 mins of walking from / to Vantaa Airport terminal. Pedestrian walkway with directing signs. Timely communication with property access info from the host. Definitely will consider in the future. Thanks!

This was a typical hostel with simple single rooms with basic amenities. The sheets were crisp and clean and the duvet and blanket was very comfortable. It's a very short walk from the airport and you can take the luggage cart all the way there on pedestrian paths, which are everywhere. I couldn't get the water hot in shower but everything was very clean. It's a great place to day trip out of to downtown Helsinki by the train or the bike share- there are actually bike/walking trails all the way! I ran to downtown and it was about 18 km and there were no places I felt unsafe. I took the train back later at night and it was well lit and safe. There aren't common areas to hang out and the rooms are tiny so its not a place to hang out or meet people. The kitchen isn't really large enough to cook in but you could make due in a pinch. T

We had problems with reciving the codes to the room and when entering it just a old office building that they placed beds in.

Only one issue. Room door lock was very stiff. I thought I was locked out. Location and basic service so close to airport is very good.

This place is actually quite amazing for a hostel. It's like a cross between a hotel and a hostel. It is well-organized and very clean The place does feel a bit institutional but it is still a very good place to stay as hostels go. It is a bit pricy but, from what I can tell, that seems to be more a factor of the accommodations industry in Helsinki overall - every place I saw was more expensive.

Si entra con un codice che arriva via sms dopo aver fatto la registrazione dei propri documenti online. La camera è molto scarna e le lenzuola avevano dei pelo/capelli. Un po’ schifo. I bagni condivisi erano sporchi e vecchi come tutto il resto dell’ arredamento. In più la strada per arrivare a piedi non è molto bella, in alcuni tratti non c’è il marciapiede e si cammina sulla strada.

It’s hard to rate a hostel that you see nobody, but it was clean and close to the airport

Gut ist die nahe Lage am Airport. Bilder entsprechen nicht der Einrichtung. Sehr alt und abgewohnt. Teppiche im Zimmer unbedingt ausgetauscht werden. Boden war nicht sauber. Zimmer sehr hellhörig, laute Türen die ständig zufallen

tldr; not clean but acceptable if you don\'t care Full review: 3rd party bookers don\'t send all info so we had to call to get our room code. "Only a 15 minute walk from the airport" but the way to go is not clear &miserable in the snow with luggage so you will most likely take a taxi. all the taxis have a 19€ minimum. Which made it the same cost as the holiday inn with free shuttle. Upon arrival there were 4 boxes with keypads but only 1 of them is functional and instructions not clear (use a #). This was stressful at 1am but resolved quickly. It\'s an old office building, but i don\'t mind- reduce and reuse. i was plenty warm in January. 2 twin beds so my husband &i had to sleep separately-whatever. My problem: the beds were disgusting. Logically, I know I\'ve slept in much worse in college but ew. you make the bed yourself which just highlights all the gross stains. Brown mattress with what looked like a blood stain, dingy white/brown pillow and duvet. The linens looked cleaned at first but when i opened them up they were also stained and had hairs on them! No kidding there were small black curly hairs on my "clean" duvet cover. My husband couldn\'t care less so he had no problem, but i was about to call a cab (no refund policy) when he reminded me we had new linens in our luggage from a gift. In the night the bathroom was gross but i caught them just after cleaning in the morning. I survived. He was content. But was it worth saving 50$?

Var der kun for å sove noen timer så det fungerte veldig bra. Fikk access kode og veiledning på email og alt fungerte fint. Renslig, ryddig og bra helt etter beskrivelsen på Internett.

The location is nice, on a 15min walking distance from the airport. The check-in went well, I got all the required information by SMS on my phone. So far the good part, the bad part is that the building is old, the room I had was very noisy, and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The bed linen were dirty, the bed itself was old and it felt like you were sleeping in a 'hole' in the bed. The floor was sticky, the remote of the TV was véry filthy, basically I was looking forward checking out again. Luckily I only stayed for one night. Unfortunately this was the only place that had vacancy on my night on stay and the next cheapest place charged almost 4-5 times as much for a night... If you are in for just one night, perhaps stay at the airport or find a hotel in the city. I would not recommend this hostel.

Je n'ai pas pu accéder à l'hôtel car pas des personnels des réception et je n'ai pas reçu le code par SMS pour accéder à l'hôtel. Le numéro de service d'urgence ne semble saturé et ne pas répondre. Le service de rappel automatique n'a pas abouti. J'ai du passer la nuit dans la voiture.

Was promised an email containing instructions on how to access my room by 1600 on arrival day. I did not get this email even after 1700 on arrival day. I had to resubmit identity verification through an older email and then was given access, even though I'd already completed that verification.

El servicio es muy básico y completamente automatizado. El espacio de baños y regaderas pequeño y puede ser ruidoso porque las puertas de las habitaciones dan hacia el pasillo y en este las puertas de los baño. El check in fue muy complejo, te dicen que actualices tu información pero no son claros diciendo como, no es nada sencillo y eso retrasa el que tengas tus códigos de acceso.

The big problem was I did not get the access key code to enter the building and my room. It was not clear if Hotels.com or Forenom Hostel was responsible to send me the key. I had to call to get a key, and it eventually came from Hotels.com. PLEASE do better with this problem, and solve it.

I booked the room 2 hours before arriving, and I had not received code by text or email how to access Forenom. Had to call them and spent 15 minutes in middle of the night on how to send them passport picture and self portrait before I received access code. Nice and quiet apart from fire alarm @9 am,, easy 12 minutes walk from airport

L’hôtel est très proche, à seulement 12 minutes du terminal 2 et de la gare de l’aéroport. C’est très pratique avec du qualité-prix !!!

I walked to the hostel at nighttime, and without knowing the exact location I would still be walking around. Not a single sign on the way.. Didn't expect much of the place due to the cost, didn't get less ;)
