Awesome view of the lake. Nice pool area and garden. The breakfast and restaurant are also great but opening hours are a bit so so.

Stayed 1 night

I was expecting a better room/house. This is just for folks that will come here and what to expect. I was in house #2, so I can only speak on my experience with this particular one. There are 2 levels, the second level has a kitchen, kitchen dinette and sitting area. You can sit outside. There were a bunch cigarette buds on ours so already we realized that our house was not cleaned thoroughly. There were no AC units, but they did offer small fans that were in the closet. The top floor was hot so a small fan would not help. The 1st floor was cooler, so as long at the weather was not hot, then you should be ok. The rooms, master suite has a like a full size bed and the second room has 2 twin beds. The beds are hard, felt like we were sleeping on a box, supper uncomfortable. Needless to say we didn’t sleep well. There were a bunch of ants on the desk, so we asked for bug spray. I had to spray all over. We had flies in the room, spiders, ants, and I don’t even know what other kind of little critters. I noticed a little black spider had crawled on me so there went my sleep. The bathroom smelled like sewer. So they need to update their sewer system. Toilet flushes supper slow. There was no hair dryer, iron, or bathroom amenities like the little bottles other hotels offer as far as shampoo, body wash, conditioner, lotion, etc. There weren’t any water bottles in the room like other places offer. There is more to write but, this won’t allow a further review.

Really like this hotel. Beautiful view, off the beaten path a bit but still a not too far tuk tuk ride to town. More laid back than the fancier hotel next door but you can still eat there. Loved that breakfast and kayaks were included. Staff was really nice. Good value too. Staying here was like the best of both worlds with the convenience of staying in Panajachel but views being on the lake, especially if you only have a couple nights at the lake.
