Excellent choice for families. New facility in a very convenient location. Walking distance to the downtown, next door to a great restaurant, and pool and playground on site. Amazing views if Bayside. Ample free breakfast and parking. Overall great stay with no concerns.

Very clean and easy to get to! Great views for the sunset at night and loved having a restaurant we could walk to next door! Also very walkable to walk into town to visit shops and other restaurants. Super friendly staff. Pool was a bit smaller than the pictures make it look but still great to have. Overall would stay here again! Loved our room and the balcony view.

Our room was very noisy. There is no insulation between rooms. Therefore, you can hear conversations in adjoining rooms. Housekeeping did not come into our room to change our towels. I had to take our towels out and find the housekeepers every day to get new towels. Trash was not removed from our room during our four day stay. The showerhead was worn out and did not work properly. Outlets in the room were so worn that you couldn’t keep things plugged in. The breakfast is very good. The staff at the desk and breakfast prep were great. Housekeeping not so happy with.

We paid a little extra for a room with a view of the Bay. It was beautiful, and also had a lovely balcony with chairs. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfast had three hot items and much more.

Not soundproof ,a very noisy hallway and from above, and on both sides of us, you can hear the door slamming ,peoples TV and talking. No blackout curtains The light from neighboring hotel was shining into the room…. Staff was very friendly

Our room was neat and clean, our housekeeper was super and always on top of things for us. Kelly went out of her way when we needed a shower mat, due to the shower floor being very slippery. The view from our room was wonderful and always made me happy when I looked out of the wide open viewing area. The balconey was glass enclosed so you had a really open view of everything around you.

On the whole this was a good stay and I would definitely come again. Staff were attentive and pleasant. There were a few warts, some of the furnishings are showing age, given this trip was after the busy season my guess is much of that will be addressed during the winter. We did have problems with the HVAC in the room, the thermostat was badly out of calibration. Purely by chance I had a thermometer in the car and despite the system being set to 69, the same temperature we keep our home and reading the room was 72, it was actually 64. We called but they had no one to address it as it was late on a Friday night. I found by cranking it up to 78 we did get the room to a comfortable temp we were offered another room but didn't really want to move at that point. we also had a problem with the tub, the diverter for the shower was stuck. My wife struggled and I was able to pull it up but it then stuck in the other position. We did mention this to them. Beyond these minor issues both of which did not impact our stay we enjoyed our time there and would go back, but can't give it a top rating.

I had to leave early after three nights and they said since I used Expedia for the booking they would not credit me for the two remaining nights. Very disappointing to be punished for using a third party who has negotiated with Fairfield by Marriott and built it with this trap imbedded. Expedia tried to help and spoke to them but people at desk were unwilling to do anything. Expedia said they had then emailed the hotel Manager and this may have helped. I have seen charges for three nights, and $110 charge dated 5/25, for what I don’t know, on my credit card.

The hotel itself is beautiful, however the manager of the hotel does not understand hospitality at all. Our check in was like a Monty Python experience. Nothing was possible. We booked a water view two queen room, but was told that it was for “marsh view”, not “ bay view”. We asked to pay for an upgrade but was told that they can’t upgrade our room because we booked via Expedia third party. We asked to add a rollaway bed for our son, we were told that two queen room was not possible due to fire code. We’ve stayed in many Marriott hotels and never once had such experience.
