The beds were very worn in and you’d sink into them with no support and was not a pillow top. One wasn’t even level and the box springs were longer than the bed. The bathrooms was by the toilet need to be cleaned. The front door had a small hole in it in which paper was stuffed. The table and chairs were about 20 years old. The pool wasn’t heated. The fridge was not cold which I didn’t find out till three hours after I had my children put the food in it. The walls were super thin as well and the pass through door had decent gap all the way around to the other room. Only had decaf coffee in the room.

The staff on the phone, the staff in person were all so friendly, happy, awesome and accommodating. We loved this place that we found by accident. We will definitely stay here again when in the area and next time take advantage of their indoor pool, which was very clean with towels available for use and also their amazing firepit area with a bbq for use. Thank you to Canyon Motel and RV Park for an awesome stay!

you can look at stars at night, has nice swimming pool although heated part broken, the a/c was good but very dusty so every morning will see black specks all over the table; mosquitos, moths there because in woods like a cabin, decent water pressure, knob loose; housekeeping you have to remind them or they won't do it, need to pay for ice bags. has scary lady picture with horse, it may come alive to hover over you to watch you sleep, who knows? nice small fridge and microwave; not much closet space, no kitchenette; nice train decor; nothing too fancy but price I paid I think less than $60 per night it will do and actually would highly recommend! also it's close to downtown williams, poozeum, zip line, berizona, etc.

Super clisw to Bearizona and downtown Williams. Room is 1940's motel, but pretty clean overall. Furniture is outdated like the chairs were sunk in and not comfy. The pool house is clean and warm water.

Worst accommodation. Left a review on Google maps, got an AI generated reply with "fill in the blank" spots for my detials with them not filled in (clearly ChatGPT). As experienced when I checked out, they don't care. No, I will not be giving you another chance. You took my money for an expected level of service, you didn't deliver, you don't care. To the point, no breakfast available, which we knew, but brought things to eat for breakfast, and while the lack of some way to eat was bad enough, the real issue was the microwave in the room didn't work. It turned on, but didn't cook the waffles. Worse than that, the TV clearly uses WIFI, understandable, but given the signal in our rail car was non existent the TV would continuously cut out making it unwatchable. This also meant we could not use personal devices as they didn't have a stable WIFI connection. I forgot to mention the broken bed, at some point the low spot where people sit on the side of the bed has to trigger a call for the mattress to be replaced, that should have happened a long time ago. The last thing in the room was the dirty carpet, there is clearly a lack of care. In terms of the site, the mouldy washing machines in the laundry was a problem, and then 3 of the 4 dryers were broken. This place is literally one of the worst places I have stayed. Avoid!

We showed up at 1pm and asked for an early check in. We were denied even though the room was vacant and made up. The staff made us wait two hours in the Arizona heat for no reason. The pool and all the grounds were horribly kept. Two of the four washing machines were completely out of order while the two remaining took turns stealing our quarters. The detergent machine also kept our change without dispensing any detergent until eventually falling completely off the wall. Room was dirty and unsafe. Even when locked the door could easily be forced open. The bath house was dirty and gross. Every guest we talked with was horrified by the property conditions. We checked in at 3pm and checked out at 8pm. Went into Williams and paid for a nice little room at a motel. Please do not waste your money booking this place. The positive reviews on this site have to be fake. I don’t usually write reviews but don't want people wasting their money and being embarrassed upon arrival. I was very embarrassed by the accommodations I had booked for us Do not believe the positive reviews. Check the pictures I uploaded.

This place was absolutely lovely. So cute and private and very clean. There was so much character to the area. The room we stayed in was historic but felt fresh with modern facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the cost to stay is shockingly affordable! Would recommend to anyone wishing to visit the Grand Canyon.

Great value! Showers had great water pressure and lots of hot water. Super cute and convenient. It was a touch run down but clean and the staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. Location was convenient to Grand Canyon.

This is an old motor inn that actually reminded my husband of the motels he stayed in as a missionary in Belize. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room is fairly sparse - a bed, TV, table and straight back chair, and a small fridge and microwave. But we were not there to hang out in the room, so it was perfect for what we wanted. The check in and out was refreshingly simple. She asked for my name and handed me a metal key on a key tag. Check out involved dropping the key in a box. We would definitely stay here again.

For $50 a night, you get what you pay for. The atmosphere and concept was very cool. But I mainly booked this too because reviews said they were very clean despite being cheap. Which was wrong. Our room looked like it hadn’t been dusted in months. Cob webs everywhere. The floor was so slimy and dirty we had to walk with our socks on the whole weekend. Shower head was disgusting and also coming apart from the wall. Also had spiders in our room. The advertisement said there was a park for kids but couldn’t find it after walking the whole motel lot / RV park. Overall I just wish the room was clean. The place had cats that seemed to live there and be fed by guests which was probably the best part.

Property is clean, we stayed in one of the cabins. While small it was perfect for its intended purpose of sleeping. Roku tv was in the room allowing you to sign in to your streaming apps (don't forget to sign out). AC was modern and performed well. Bathroom fixtures work but could use an update, maybe an elongated style of toilet. Again for it's price point and intended use as a place to lay your head and get cleaned up it works great. Very clean.

This is an old style Route 66 motel, so nothing fancy. I really enjoyed the overall look and feel. Very helpful staff. My room was part of a stone cabin. Looked very cool. Spacious. Comfortable bed. Liked the simple standup shower. Some minor inconveniences - like not all the lamps worked. Two annoyances. TV had very few channels and was quite fuzzy. Internet was so slow it was essentially unusable so I had to rely on my phone.

Decently clean. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was extremely small. Good hot water, but very poor water pressure. Two of us stayed there two days the amount of shampoo they gave us Would barely be enough for one person for one day. Area around it is ok. Nice if you’re traveling to the South rim, probably about a 50minute ride and you are right off the main highway that will take you there. Decent stay, would consider again possibly. Expected a little bit more for what I paid.

I was very embarrassed by the accommodations I had booked for us Do not believe the positive reviews. Check the pictures I uploaded.
We showed up at 1pm and asked for an early check in. We were denied even though the room was vacant and made up. The staff made us wait two hours in the Arizona heat for no reason. The pool and all the grounds were horribly kept. Two of the four washing machines were completely out of order while the two remaining took turns stealing our quarters. The detergent machine also kept our change without dispensing any detergent until eventually falling completely off the wall. Room was dirty and unsafe. Even when locked the door could easily be forced open. The bath house was dirty and gross. Every guest we talked with was horrified by the property conditions. We checked in at 3pm and checked out at 8pm. Went into Williams and paid for a nice little room at a motel. Please do not waste your money booking this place. The positive reviews on this site have to be fake. I don’t usually write reviews but don't want people wasting their money and being embarrassed upon arrival. We needed a late check-in. He left our key and directions in the office mailbox. Map/directions are confusing. Had this been our only problems, I would have left a five star review and not even mentioned this, but it is just where it started… 50ft path to our room had one foot plus of snow to carry baggage through, and my mom had to climb through it too. They got snow the day before, not windy - and I understand these conditions, I am from Minnesota. Why wasn’t that shoveled out? Got in late and no heat - 45 degrees in room. Call emergency number and manager, crabby and rude, brings space heater. In fact, I was on my way back out to my car, and he just handed it to me and walked away, doesn’t even offer to come in and look at the heater. In 2 hours the space heater raised the temp 2 degrees. No cable, WTH is the TV for? Couldn’t even be distracted from the cold. Left at 2am. I called for a full refund once the office opened back up at eight, and he would only refund two of my three nights, stating it was my fault I didn’t know how to work the heat. Excuse me, sir. I didn’t rent the morgue. They knew I was coming, why wasn’t the heat on and my room warm? I gave this one star only because zero stars is not an option.

We stayed for 3 nights but after the first day the room did not get cleaned and we did not get clean wash cloths for our shower. What made it worse the office does not open until 8 AM. When I asked for clean wash cloths at 8 AM I was told it would be 20 minutes. After 20 minutes I asked again and was told "she was bringing them to my room". When someone brought clean wash cloths it was a he, a guy that was talking to the manager when she said "she". This is 1 hour from the Grand Canyon so we like to start our day early to get a jump on the crowd but could not on this day. By the way our room never got cleaned the whole time we were there. Also the shower is very very small.

The property indicates to call if you’ll be there past 8p. I called at 1p to tell them I’d be there between 8:30-9p they basically blew me off and wouldn’t even take my name saying it was no problem and not to worry about it. We got there at 8:30p and no one was there. The instructions were confusing and the property was covered in snow. We got stuck for a while and finally got out to find another hotel in town that actually could receive travelers at 8:30p

The staff on the phone, the staff in person were all so friendly, happy, awesome and accommodating. We loved this place that we found by accident. We will definitely stay here again when in the area and next time take advantage of their indoor pool, which was very clean with towels available for use and also their amazing firepit area with a bbq for use. Thank you to Canyon Motel and RV Park for an awesome stay!

Property is nice and room was clean with good & needed amenities. Dining options are plenty within a 5 min drive. Very close to Downtown Williams. Overall a great choice to stay for Grand Canyon!!! Highly recommend this place.

The Canyon motel was a great surprise. This little motel is a great place to rest after a day of adventures, Perfectly located at the entrance to Williams and the gateway to the Grand Canyon. This is a clean motel with a great view of Bill Williams Mountain.

It is a unique place, with railroad cars and old fire trucks. Cozy rooms. There was no wifi, which was frustrating, and the walls are quite thin, so we heard our neighbors fighting and cussing, as well as their tv. Great shower! Williams is a cute town, with several dining options. Just about an hour from the south rim. Worked well for us.

I enjoyed the convenience store at the office. The TV had amazing channels and the room was always fresh with AC! The staff was very kind and open to help with anything. I would recommend this motel to my friends and family.

I feel that the room itself is a bit outdated but i believe it adds to the overall character and theme of the property. The staff was unbelievable. We stayed there one night out of a 10 day road trip. I was unaware of the location and was pleasently surprised by the town of Williams. We ended up spending several hours in town. We had the best breakfast i have ever had at anne's cafe as recommended by front desk staff.

Worst accommodation. Left a review on Google maps, got an AI generated reply with "fill in the blank" spots for my detials with them not filled in (clearly ChatGPT). As experienced when I checked out, they don't care. No, I will not be giving you another chance. You took my money for an expected level of service, you didn't deliver, you don't care. To the point, no breakfast available, which we knew, but brought things to eat for breakfast, and while the lack of some way to eat was bad enough, the real issue was the microwave in the room didn't work. It turned on, but didn't cook the waffles. Worse than that, the TV clearly uses WIFI, understandable, but given the signal in our rail car was non existent the TV would continuously cut out making it unwatchable. This also meant we could not use personal devices as they didn't have a stable WIFI connection. I forgot to mention the broken bed, at some point the low spot where people sit on the side of the bed has to trigger a call for the mattress to be replaced, that should have happened a long time ago. The last thing in the room was the dirty carpet, there is clearly a lack of care. In terms of the site, the mouldy washing machines in the laundry was a problem, and then 3 of the 4 dryers were broken. This place is literally one of the worst places I have stayed. Avoid!

This motel has some good features and some bad; The room was clean, but very old and run down. There was no counter space, even in the bathroom. Just a small lavatory with barely enough room for basic necessities. The small table was old and scarred and the 2 chairs were also very old. The bottoms sagged low and I had to knock one them back together occasionally. The microwave sits on the small frig, and the coffee pot on top of that. The cord doesn't reach the plugin from there. I killed a couple of spiders crawling on the walls. On a happy note; the air conditioner worked great, the towels were new looking and good quality. The shower, although old and rattly, was hot. The internet sucks. It's on and off constantly. The TV works off the internet, so it's nearly impossible to watch anything with the constant buffering. The property outside was untidy, with a lot of junk scattered around. It was still picturesque and peaceful, and just a few steps behind our cabin was the national park, which me and my young son walked in for a short distance. There were elk droppings everywhere, which was really neat. The advertised swimming pool is full of stagnant water and out of order. The playground shown in the pictures doesn't exist. So would we stay there again? Probably not. We had it booked for 4 nights and we made it but were more than ready to leave. The small town of Williams is just down the road and is a neat place to visit. There are some better choices in motels there.
