Everything was an 11 out of 10. Greeted by Teresa, the innkeeper who went over the rules, offered us water, coffee, wine then showed us to our room. Really nice room. Enjoyed a glass of wine on the upstairs porch before wandering out to a magnificent display of Christmas lights. Great location, staff, amenities and breakfast.

Situated a few minutes from historic downtown, this B&B is perfect for anyone who just wants to park the car for a few days! It's very convenient for walking around downtown, or if you don't want to walk, try the Hop on Hop off sightseeing bus. They even sell tickets for this at the B&B! Just ask! The staff are super helpful and friendly! We stayed in the Sapphire Room on the first floor, which we later found out was on the corner of two streets (Cordova and Cuna)! It was very noisy both nights of our stay, until around midnight. During the day, it was much quieter! The room had a claw-foot bath with overhead shower. I wouldn't recommend this if balance is an issue. There are twenty stairs from the ground floor to the first floor! Fairly low-rise, so not as daunting as it might sound! We spent several hours on the front porch one evening, chatting with friends, watching the world go by! Great fun, although it was noisy outside in the evenings, and lots of traffic! There are complimentary beverages all-day (tea, coffee, water, coke and wine). We enjoyed our stay here! Great location! Would definitely recommend!

What a great find! Location is perfect - you're a couple minutes walk to the main historic area filled with attractions, shopping and bars/food - but not so close, which translates to a good nice sleep and a nice quiet breakfast on the porch. The breakfast was outstanding. The wine and sodas flow freely. The room we were in (Silver Cottage) was fabulous (husband said best night sleep in forever, so comfortable). And the staff absolutely top notch. And really - for the price, a great value. Highly recommend, and will be back.

This was our second time staying at Carriage Way Inn B&B. Another outstanding night. The staff is friendly and attentive. The amenities such as free soda, water, and wine (!) are wonderful. Let’s talk about breakfast…a vegetable frittata with red pepper sauce, a thick slice of ham, and a muffin? WONDERFUL! The location to shopping, sites of interest, and restaurants round out the experience. We will only stay here when we travel to St. Augustine.

Parking lot was a nightmare staff was horrible getting me out of my room twice to move my car 6 inches over both times so driver of other car couldn’t get in or my passenger couldn’t get in then we found a cockroach in the bathroom definitely not worth 300 a night Expedia should be ashamed to represent this place

Wow! We originally came to stay for just one night, but we couldn’t resist and ended up booking an extra night to keep enjoying this cozy, comfortable, and amazing bed & breakfast! Located within walking distance of everything St. Augustine has to offer, and with such a wonderful staff ready to accommodate all of our needs, we will definitely be coming back. Each guest room has free on-site parking. The complimentary wine, coffee, tea, water, and sodas available daily through self-service made our stay even better! The room details create such a cozy and romantic atmosphere—perfect for a night in this charming vintage cottage. We also loved the thoughtful touches from the lovely owner, like the little lavender sachets at reception to place under your pillow for a restful sleep and the warm, scented towelettes in the breakfast area—just amazing! Nice property but a bit of a task taking luggage upstairs. A bit of a musty smell in the shower and the water takes a while to heat up but overall ideally located and being able to park at the property is great as parking otherwise is a nightmare.

The breakfast was excellent. I just wish some of the portions were a little larger. The staff was outstanding very polite. The parking was great white next to the B&B. The cleanliness of the room could have been better. We drop something on the floor in the wall under the bed it had to be an inch of dust Along with some empty plastic containers, I guess from the previous people who stayed there. Overall, we will stay there again in the future.

A sweet little inn! We had a wonderful stay but they don’t offer housekeeping services during the stay. The breakfast was delicious and the complimentary drinks and cookies were an added bonus.

The cottage we stayed in was extremely clean. The bed slept very good, and we were well-rested each morning. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We had a wonderful experience at Carriage Way B&B.

Good location however when we booked the Gold cottage we were supposed to be able to park there. That changed to the main house which was further away and cramped. Room was okay, could have been cleaner. Breakfast was disappointing so we skipped the second day.

Overall, the stay/room/staff were good, BUT one of the main reasons for choosing the room I did was because of the air-jet tub, and it was broken. Things happen and things break I can understand that, but in this instance it had been broken since the week prior, and it was never disclosed. I only found out when I actually tried using it. Another guest I spoke with mentioned their heater had also been broken, so it just seems like maintenance is lacking. Staff was very apologetic and even offered me a discount which was great, but it's been about 10 days since I checked out and still nothing. So here we are with this review. For the cost, I expected more than what could've been had at a standard motel for far less money.

We stayed in the Diamond suite. Very spacious suite. Just an FYI if you decide to book this room, bed is next to the street. So it gets a little noisy at night. Breakfast was amazing. Staff and owners are awesome. All needs and requests were always fulfilled with a smile!!! We will be back!

The room was beautiful. Such a comfortable bed! The Pumpkin French Toast was delicious ! Can not say enough about the staff. They made us feel so welcome. This is a beautiful Inn with wonderful staff. We will be back soon

The property is obviously rather old and historic but that is what makes it fun. All the amenities worked and the staff was over-the-top friendly. The breakfasts were made fresh and were very tasty. The property is right in the heart of downtown St. Augustine and you can walk everywhere. No need to drive since parking is at a premium in St. Augustine. The only issue we had was not with the business but with the noise. The Inn is at the corner of Cuna and Cordova, a very busy intersection. It was about impossible to sleep prior to midnight due to the numerous motorcycles and loud exhaust cars revving their engines as they passed by every 10 minutes or so. Plus all the foot traffic and inebriated people yelling and talking loud. Now in all fairness we were staying in the economy Ruby Room on the first floor so that probably had something to do with it. We would definitely stay here again, we would just make sure we chose a room on the second floor as far from the street as possible.

We loved our stay at the Emerald Room at Carriage Way. The room was beautifully decorated, it felts elegant with the huge post bed and chocolates on the pillow. They had a bottle of sherry complimentary in the room along with a mini fridge full of soda. The jet tub in the bathroom was what sealed the deal for us. They had a breakfast in the morning butbwe didnt stay for it. We will definitely be coming again next year.

They had a bottle of sherry complimentary in the room along with a mini fridge full of soda. The jet tub in the bathroom was what sealed the deal for us. Perfect place to stay while visiting St Augustine. The location was fabulous. Our room (garnet) was wonderful. I enjoyed access to the upstairs veranda which was so relaxing in the evenings. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff exceeded any expectations and were always friendly and accommodating. We definitely will be back to Carriage Way Inn!

The room was nice. The jets in the tub did not work but overall a nice room. However, we were highly disappointed in the breakfast which was half the reason for booking a Bed and breakfast. No alternative choices, small servings sizes and was warm at best. Very underwhelming and did place a damper on our experience. Overall, the stay/room/staff were good, BUT one of the main reasons for choosing the room I did was because of the air-jet tub, and it was broken. Things happen and things break I can understand that, but in this instance it had been broken since the week prior, and it was never disclosed. I only found out when I actually tried using it. Another guest I spoke with mentioned their heater had also been broken, so it just seems like maintenance is lacking. Staff was very apologetic and even offered me a discount which was great, but it's been about 10 days since I checked out and still nothing. So here we are with this review. For the cost, I expected more than what could've been had at a standard motel for far less money.

Everything was an 11 out of 10. Greeted by Teresa, the innkeeper who went over the rules, offered us water, coffee, wine then showed us to our room. Really nice room. Enjoyed a glass of wine on the upstairs porch before wandering out to a magnificent display of Christmas lights. Great location, staff, amenities and breakfast.

I’m typically not fond of Bed and Breakfast Inns due to past experiences, but Carriage Way is a GEM! From the first contact with Cindy to checkout, it was a wonderful friendly and helpful experience. The breakfast crew did a great job and the crème brûlée French toast was amazing. The staff was very helpful and eager to please. The Platinum room was very quaint and had sufficient space..and the bed was comfy and NOT noisy. Loved the Inn!

The staff are amazing! Not many places want to accommodate a vegan traveler but The Carriage Way did! They asked what they could to accommodate a vegan diet and they were able to adapt and have a vegan breakfast for my wife. Other places just no. The room was amazing!!! The historic area is easily walkable. Tons of great places to eat within 10 minutes. They have large umbrellas for you to borrow, you will use it during summer in Florida. We started in the Emerald room and really enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub! Not to mention the double headed shower! Hopefully, the mini brownie bites are available, they are delicious. one piece of feedback is check in should be a bit smoother. I sat in the lobby, called the Inn phone number three times, got no answer, and had to just wait (about 5 min) for someone to show up to begin check in process. Once the proprietor showed up she was friendly and the room was clean, safe and as pictured.

Accommodations were perfect, nice room with modern, tiled shower, balcony on upper level with a porch swing. The breakfast was excellent. I just wish some of the portions were a little larger. The staff was outstanding very polite. The parking was great white next to the B&B. The cleanliness of the room could have been better. We drop something on the floor in the wall under the bed it had to be an inch of dust Along with some empty plastic containers, I guess from the previous people who stayed there. Overall, we will stay there again in the future.

Best bed and breakfast in st Augustine! It is so cute and charming. We stayed in the emerald room and it has so much space! The bathroom has a tub and shower. The breakfast is delicious and home cooked. They have free water soda wine coffee tea, cookies accessible 24/7. Only thing was the emerald room is not good if you plan on sleeping in, because it’s right next to laundry room and kitchen it can be very noisy in the morning time as breakfast is 8-10am.
