Hotel Playa Zipolite

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, está prácticamente frente al mar y saliendo tienes el adoquín en dónde hay restaurantes, tiendas, farmacias y te puedes desplazar a pie fácilmente. El hotel cuenta con un pequeño estacionamiento y afortunadamente encontramos espacio para nuestro auto, no hay restaurante. El check in estuvo regular, no aceptan tarjeta, solo efectivo y esto no fue notificado previamente. La habitación está aceptable, tiene buen tamaño, ventilador, dos camas, aire acondicionado TV y un baño amplio, la limpieza también aceptable, el inconveniente es que había muchos mosquitos dentro, afortunadamente llevábamos repelente. A mí llegada solo tenía una toalla de baño y éramos dos personas, además la toalla estaba manchada, al solicitar la segunda toalla me dijeron que no había disponible porque las estaban lavando, nos fuimos a cenar y a mi regreso volví a solicitar la segunda toalla la cual fue entregada, al pedir el cambio de la toalla que estaba sucia me la negaron, pero insistí hasta que me la cambiaron. Dentro del hotel hay una pequeña alberca pero no estaba muy limpia por lo que no la usamos y preferimos la playa. En el área de playa hay un pequeño techado y algunas tumbonas disponibles. El patio del hotel luce algo sucio y desordenado, es algo que pueden mejorar. En resumen es una opción aceptable, la tarifa considero que es alta para los servicios que ofrecen pero entiendo que nos hospedamos en temporada alta y los precios se incrementan.

Great location. Rooms have been updated with nice bathrooms, fridge and AC units. Needs a safe to store valuables and passports. Beach towels were not easily accessible. Some days you could get towels and on some ocassions beach towels were denied by the front office. Pool area was dirty. Pool had leaves in it and the water was murky. Outdoor beach areas had limited seating and frequently were full of empty cans and garbage.

No se porque lo tienen tan descuidado, la alberca completamente abandonada, tiene una lámpara adentro que se ve rota y colgando, supongo que por eso no prenden la iluminación por la noche y se ve triste, los mosaicos de adentro se están cayendo. En diciembre también me hospede ahí y nos comentaron que iban a remodelarlo y pues todo lo contrario.

Fuimos en plan familiar y me agradó mucho, mi hijo disfruto la alberca, hay chapoteadero y el agua está tibia. La atención del personal fue accesible y me agradó que el hotel está a pie de la playa y puedes disfrutar de la vista del mar en los camastros. Hay muchos restaurantes y lugares cercanos para comer, beber y disfrutar un café.

It was a lack luster check in with non friendly staff, lack of information, non working WIFI, and general messiness… But, we arrived late and took a deep breath. The room was surprisingly large, comfortable beds, very clean and super quiet, minor issues..old towels, no hot water, no ice, and not a glass to be had. After 2 days, the WiFI was working, all the towels replaced, the pool finally looked great, and the staff during the day helpful and friendly We stayed 7 nights, and we all agreed that we would return, knowing that our expectations have been adjusted. In summary the location, the value, the noise level, the staff are all very good. The down side is the lack of amenities, with some little additions this really could be special, until then it just met our needs..

Estuvo bien pero la alberca no servía, aunque lo compensaron con mejores habitaciones y un servicio excelente

Property was nice and very reasonably priced for being on the beach. They had a nice shaded patio area facing the ocean for reading and relaxing. Pool area was nice, but I didn't spend a lot of time there. Staff was very helpful and professional. The only complaint is that the power went out for 24 hours. A bit of an inconvenience but I would stay there again.

Despite the noise I had a great stay, initially planned to stay for 2 nights but ended up extending to 4 nights. Great location, A/C works great, TV with cable tv with some channels in english, hot water and the hotel is in ok shape. Wifi is good enough to watch netflix on the ipad in the evenings, but I don't think the signal is good enough for video calls, I had one on my phone and the video and audio lagged . The hotel is basic but comfortable. The highlight is the beach area with the lounge chairs under a proper hut to protect you from the sun. The town is tinny but you've got what you need for an enjoyable stay. There's a coffee shop by the entrance, some bakeries, and plenty of restaurants around. Nights are peaceful with no noise. I'm a female traveling solo and felt safe and comfortable during my stay. The hotel staff is kind, friendly and helpful. I'm definitely coming back after the renovations are finished.

Really clean and huge rooms with a generous amount of pillows which I really appreciated.

Personnel sympathique mais toujours le minimum staff de nuit faut pas trop les déranger car les jeux sur leur téléphone sont prioritaire bcp d’amélioration à faire ça manque de maintenance . arriver pas à 5h02 pm pour remplacer vos serviettes vous ne les aurai pas ,ménage de chambre à tout les jours .les aires communes ne sont pas nettoyer et entretenu bref l’emplacement est correct et central pour kkes nuit ça vas mais pas pour un long séjour .point fort frigo dans les chambres , climatisation et piscine pas de machine à café dans les chambres pas de verre ni ouvre bouteille rien pour accommoder les voyageurs

Fue una reserva de último momento y no hubo ningún problema en el check in. Fue rápido y sencillo. La habitación estaba en muy buen estado considerando que el hotel es algo viejo, se sentía algo remodelado. Muy muy céntrico y tiene salida directo a la playa.

Regular hay muchas cosas que pueden mejorar por ejemplo bastante olor a humedad

The owner and staff were welcoming and so attentive. Great location and quality for the price. Hot shower and thick towels. Rooms near the beach can experience some noise on the weekends as guests gather there but that’s to be expected.

The hotel is basic, but clean, and the beds are comfortable. Also, the AC is fantastic, and for the price point there are not a lot of options with hotels that offer AC. The location could not be better, beach front and next to some great restaurants and beach clubs. WiFi is spotty throughout the day, and hot water runs out when too many people shower in the morning, but overall not too much of a concern if you can work around that. On a side note, the room had a fridge. I plugged it in, and it worked, but emitted a foul odor. I would suggest not plugging in the fridge if your room has one. Once unplugged, the smell went away. Originally booked 2 nights, ended up extending the stay. Easily recommend the hotel for anyone that is looking for basic but clean accommodation.

The place is so good i just walked 5 ft to be in the beach, the staff is very nice, always clean, every thing is like you want

I arrived at hotel to book for the night, connected to their wifi but it was very slow and got disconnected and the site ended up changing the dates with a new session that I didn’t notice til my confirmation. Staff was unwilling to cancel the booking even though this all happened directly in front of them.

The stag was not really nice

A guest walks out the back of this property directly onto the beautiful beach or out the front directly onto main street. The hotel is quiet, seems secure, adequate lighting without being too bright and glaring. The pool and surroundings looked great, but I didn't go in since the ocean was right there. Room staff very attentive and in and out by mid-morning. I extended my original reservation and will go back.

Hotel Playa Zipolite is right on the Main Street in Zipolite, within walking distance to restaurants, bars, on one side and direct access to the beach on the other side. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is super friendly.

Buena ubicación en Playa

We spent a week in zipolite and enjoyed our stay very much. Excellent location, close to everything in town and on the beach. Would recommend!

La cercanía de todo es muy práctico !

It was a fantastic stay! The location is unbeatable. Right on the beach, super comfortable and within walking distance to restaurants, Bars and Playa del Amor. We just got back and we already booked our return stay! LOOOOOOVE it

We spent a week in zipolite and enjoyed our stay very much. Excellent location, close to everything in town and on the beach. Would recommend!
