Stayed 2 nights

It started out with my service dog, I am recovering from breast cancer & the PTSD it has caused me from my life being turned upside down. Anyway, there was a 10 minute argument over that, I had already booked through a third party, I couldn't change, nor get a refund, and it was Memorial week-end. Finally able to get into the room, which wasn't that bad, room was clean, the mini fridge was great! The shower was nice as well, just be sure to have your own towels, wash clothes, and such. I probably wouldn't stay there again, and they probably would not let me due to my service dog. He goes everywhere with me!!!!

It was a nice clean room, though without carpet. The bed was comfortable, and the fridge and microwave worked just fine. There is no pool, or much in the way of other amenities, and access to/from the hotel is restricted by being on a frontage road. Overall, it looks a bit rundown, but the room was pleasant and comfortable. Check in was easy, and the staff at the time friendly. The only real downside was the refrigerator was really loud when it turned on to cool. It made a loud pop, and then came on for several minutes increasing in volume as it went. But, this was made better by turning the A/C fan on full time. Overall, I'm not sure I'd recommend this place as it doesn't have a very "I'm really safe here" vibe, being in a not great part of Austin. However, if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay, this isn't that bad a choice.
