Amazing property with conveniences such as parking and being walking distance from a few restaurants. The inside felt like your own tiny home, beautiful and clean. Also the staff was incredibly friendly and the apple TV was a plus. Would definitely recommend again 👍

Very quiet a lot of activities for kids and adults. I love the cabin we stayed at. Hopefully the get A.C later on property with this heat. It was a lovely quiet place.

Great location, short drive to attractions but off main road so nice and quiet. Cabin clean and comfortable, spacious for family of 4. Internet gets slow at night, thinking everyone else in their Cabin using Internet so we all using at same time. No staff on property which a little concerning if we needed help, took a few hours to get checkin code after calling/emailing, but we were early to check in. Great playground on the property gor our little ones.

Clean

We enjoyed the quiet clean well stocked cabin. We were able to cook meals and watch movies after a day of sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean room

We booked this literally at the last minute and it was perfect! An excellent value as well. And the cleanliness and coffee were much appreciated.

the place itself was very nice and everything felt and looked clean. The communication from the staff was excellent and made instructions very clear. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in big bear

Needs TLC cabin stunk even opening doors and windows did not help. Had to empty closet to put my things in. One good thing it is a quite properly.

It was a nice quiet cabin. It is not fancy.

So the cabin was very nice and was exactly what my wife was looking for ! Nice for the price. My wife isn't very tech savy lol and unfortunately she either didn't see the instructions or there were none ? But she doesn't use computers so the ones on their website were useless and it was extremely difficult to get ahold of anyone at the phone number they listed ? Infact I had better response using their e-mail as I got a response in less than an hour which helped. They did send me directions on how to use the thermostat and TV remote . The problem was my wife was in her cabin for 3 days with no heat and they did show her the TV remote but she could never figure it out ? She was there for 5 days but didn't call me until the 3rd day to tell me about her issues. She wanted to come home , so I told her I would go up the next day and see what we could do. Her daughter was able to use a picture of the thermostat to google it and get instructions on how to set it. So at least she had heat now. When I got there the next day I had problems with it also because you can.t see the little buttons on the side to adjust the temp ? And the TV remote took a little to get use to but once I figured it out it wasn't that tough. So overall she ended up having a nice time. Again the cabins were very nice , the property was nice and it was easy to find . We would do it again someday .

Nice property. However, the bedding is getting older and not too comfortable and there is only a very limited amount of kitchen utensils. The heating works properly in the living room but the bedroom gets extremely cold at night.

Nice space! Cabin 6 has a claustrophobicly small bathroom but the little kitchen is convenient and nice.

The property is close to a lot of activities, but the service is very poor. Called phone number listed for assistance several times and no one helped. Beds would squeak every time you move sleep almost impossible. It’s a cute cabin with lots of potential. Just needs new mattress & better customer service.

The office was closed at all times..the housekeeper open the cabin for my family and ask me for the payment but didn't have any terminal to charge me trough my credit card. It resulted that the owner was at Los Angeles and the only responsible for the cabin was the housekeeper who did not have credit card terminal. I had to send a picture of my credit card to the owner

Nice place and has good staff

The management was fantastic. The cabin was more generous in size than expected. Clean, charming & fabulous location for skiing. We will be back. Thank you to the owners of Blue Horizon Lodge for being so fexible!

I had a very disappointing experience with Blue Horizon Lodge. The location was infested with rats, and they had gotten into our food, leaving bites and feces everywhere. It was extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Despite not staying there after the first night, the owner refused to provide a refund and simply didn't care for customer safety. I hope the management takes immediate action to address these issues. I want to inform others so they can make an informed decision before booking here. Stay away from this place, they dont care for customers, they only want your money.

We would love to give 5 stars because the cabin was adorable and so many amenities and supplies were provided. Unfortunately, we could never get a hold of management. We needed to extend our check out time due to the event we participated in that we booked the reservation for. We received a few automated messages from management and replied to all of them asking for late checkout options and never got a reply to any of them. Bummer because the place is so cute, if the service matched we would have been over the moon.

Like the location

The management was fantastic. The cabin was more generous in size than expected. Clean, charming & fabulous location for skiing. We will be back. Thank you to the owners of Blue Horizon Lodge for being so fexible!
