Hotel Fuchs Saarbrücken

We arrived at the hotel at 5pm. The reception is not manned after 12 noon. We were told we should have a email with the codes to access on line check in, which should arrive 24 hrs prior to check in. This email was non existent. The contact telephone number didn’t work. We were stuck. We ended up booking another hotel. We did receive an email from the hotel at 8:15pm. But it was too late at that point. We also received some codes on their FB page the following morning. I’d be very concerned that they are giving out access codes on an open FB page. Further more Expedia have not helped us to get a refund for the three rooms we booked saying our agreement is with the hotel and not them. Most upsetting experience

Was surprised with the 12h00 reception closing time and the self check in after this time. Difficult to find as signage not clear. Wouid be good for international visitors to get book-in and hotel supplied details in English rather than trying to use Google translate. Nice location.

The hotel is in a great area if one is looking for bars and restaurants to spend an evening. The room was small but clean. Given its proximity to the bars and restaurants (including one or sharing space with the hotel), it can be quite loud in the evenings until the bars close down. Otherwise an excellent location!

Sehr schönes und geräumiges Zimmer in Top-Zustand. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Bei einer Buchung über Expedia erhält man eine interne Nachricht mit einem Nicht-funktionierendem Link zum Online Checkin. Vor Ort gibt es nur einen Schlüsseltresor und man kommt nicht rein. Nach einer Email-Adresse wurde nie gefragt. Telefonieren hat zum Glück geholfen.
