Veldig bra hotell så sentralt som det går an å komme i Bergen. Flotte rom, herlig design og et veldig trivelig resepsjonsområde hvor en kan slappe av med noe godt i glasset og se på bylivet utenfor. God frokost og hyggelig betjening.

This was the best boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Do yourself a favor and book the VIP suite it’s worth the extra money. Super convenient and walkable to all parts a Bergen. Staff is incredible and the continental breakfast is top notch.

Really enjoyed this hotel. It was comfortable, very clean and had a great breakfast each day. It is also an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and all the tourist attractions around Bergen. I would definitely pick this one again on a future visit.

Hotel No. 13 is a charming boutique hotel located right on the central square in Bergen. Its excellent location - near to the ferry terminal, to buses and rails, as well as to most of the sights makes it a winner. The rooms are a little on the small side, and some (the one we were in) has no door separating the bath and toilet area from the main room, although there are of course doors to the WC area and the shower stall that can be closed. The rooms also do not have windows to the outside so they can feel a little claustrophobic. This was not helped by the fact that the room felt a bit still, like lacking of airflow. Still, the room felt warm and cosy, and was comfortable enough for 2 adults for a few nights’ stay. Housekeeping was a bit of hit and miss - the first night after checking in, we found an unwashed coffee cup, the second night we had no cups at all! They also failed to clear one of the cups we had used to make a cup of tea in. Service-wise, the staff didn’t seem very knowledgeable about Bergen - not really able to give any advice on tax refunds nor on how to get to the airport. The hotel does serve a decent breakfast in the basement. And the lobby area is gorgeous and inviting.

Posizione centralissima, pulizia impeccabile, colazione ottima, comodo e silenzioso, staff cordiale e disponibile. Peccato ....avevamo prenotato la stanza con letto King, ma purtroppo il letto era normale, non è per sfizio, ma essendo alto 1,90 cm un letto grande per me è più comodo.

Very uncomfortable and small bed. Not a queen size, barely a full. No air conditioning, very loud room overlooking the Main Street. Small room, little privacy with the bathroom in the room. Was charged money for bringing a Service dog! First time in my life. Good breakfast. That is pretty much it. Many more better options in Bergen.

The Hotel No. 13 was lovely, the (king) room was quite large by European standards, and the staff were helpful and kind. They didn't even charge me extra when I overslept (after a 20 hour trip) and they had to wake me an hour after check out. My only reservation about the room is that all windows (which were located in the bathroom) were totally frosted, so I could not see out at all. This may be fine for some travelers -- particularly those sensitive to early morning light -- but for me it felt a bit claustrophobic not to be able to see outside from the room. But otherwise a very nice stay, beautifully located near a central plaza in the city.

Excellent location; short walk from the train station; incredibly close to the tram (perfect for getting to/from the airport); short walk to most places in Bergen. Lovely room; excellent toiletries. The cleaning lady that we spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Excellent varied breakfast, with lots of vegetarian choices.

Great hotel overall. The location is very central in the city, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast had a nice selection, and in general the room was quite nice (though a slightly unconventional layout). I really only had one issue with the stay and that was the frosted windows. The windows are completely frosted so it's impossible to see anything through them, and there is no way to open them so you effectively feel completely trapped in the room. One of the more bizarre choices I've ever seen at a hotel. I saw the hotel's response that it's for guest privacy, but isn't that what curtains are for? I wish this one choice didn't detract so much from an otherwise great hotel, but I recommend asking about your specific room on check-in.

Aircondition funket ikke - veldig varmt (sa fra om det, men det gikk ikke an å gjøre noe med det), og en del bråk utenfor rommet. Sov derfor dårlig. Veldig lytt i gangen, dessverre. Ellers veldig behagelig seng. God hjelp fra resepsjonen - hyggelige. Deilig frokost.

The only issue we have was there was no outside window in the room only a frosted window this was very claustrophobic we didn’t complain as that’s not us but I would go back but please ensure it’s clear that some rooms don’t have external windows

I loved everything about this hotel! My Deluxe Room was very spacious. The bathroom was not only modern but had a bathtub, which I haven’t had in a while traveling in Europe. The breakfast spread was good even though the dining area was small. Great central location to dining, shopping and transport to airport. The service was excellent. Everyone was nice and polite. Special shout out to Kristoffer who was very accommodating to my requests- thank you!

Great hotel, staff went above and beyond to help us with our check out which was very early and provided us a breakfast and a taxi at 3am on our way to the airport. Which was very appreciated! I have stayed at excellent boutique hotels throughout Europe and North America and Hotel No13 rates among the best. The staff is warm, knowledgeable and accommodating. Alex, at the front desk was especially pleasant. My junior suite was spacious comfortable and beautifully decorated. I am not one who tends to notice interior decorating, but I certainly did here. It’s steps away from the tram station. It’s less than a five minute walk to the fish market and Bryggen. I walked to the train station with a suitcase in just eight minutes. If I find myself back in Bergen I will most definitely stay at No13 again and will request a room 402.
I have stayed at excellent boutique hotels throughout Europe and North America and Hotel No13 rates among the best. The staff is warm, knowledgeable and accommodating. Alex, at the front desk was especially pleasant. My junior suite was spacious comfortable and beautifully decorated. I am not one who tends to notice interior decorating, but I certainly did here. The location of Hotel No13 is perfect, short walk to all attractions in Bergen, and just 5 minutes walk to Tram station from airport. I had a standard queen room which was a decent size with a large bathroom even bigger than many 4/5 star hotels in US. Very clean and very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent and much better than many other hotels in Europe. Before my stay, I was concerned about some of the comments about lack of window in the room. Those comments were misleading. Actually, bathroom has floor to ceiling windows which are frosted for privacy. But, provides natural light for the room. Although my room was next to elevator, there was no noise at all which surprised me. I have stayed in many top hotels which have terrible noise from their elevators. I'm so glad that I picked Hotel No 13 for my stay in Bergen and will definitely stay here again if I come back to Bergen.

Excellent location, just 2 blocks away from the waterfront and fairly central to everything. The hotel is on a traffic free road so was very quiet The room and particularly the shower were lovely. The breakfast buffet was impressive and had a wide range of foods and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great small hotel in perfect location, a few mins walk from main tourist area by the wharf and a 10 min walk from the train station. The bathroom design is a little odd but I knew that before picking this hotel based on the pictures, and it worked out just fine! Big nice breakfast buffet.

Fint og sentralt hotell. Fine rom. Stod at rommet hadde kingsize seng men det var to enkeltsenger satt inntil hverandre som skled fra hverandre om du låg deg på midten. Ellers veldig gode senger. Det var veldig lydt så man hørte mye fra gangen og andre rom. Frokosten var noe skuffende. Tomt for melk og eplejuice og de fylte ikke på da vi gav beskjed. Tomt for en del 30min før frokosten stengte.

Perfectly located next to AirPort Express bus (hard to find but just down the hill on right after you pass fish market). Really nice rooms, they are well-appointed and feel great even though small. Very helpful staff and nice morning breakfast.
