Appartement propre mais il devrait dire que leur piscine mesure 7 m de long on dirait plus un bassin pour se tremper et de plus l’accès est fait par l’extérieur donc pas très cool. Et très bruyant car juste à coté de la ligne de train

Overall nice and very recent accomodations. Beds are comfortable. The swimming pool is not on premise, but literally across the street, so you will not be able to come back from there in flip flops and with the towels around your waist (they actually ask you not to do so) especially in -2ºC weather like it was for me. This was a major dealbreaker for me, as this hotel is one of the few in Lyon with an indoor pool - which I had originally booke to accommodate my youngest daughter's neverending energy. The Gym was closed for no apparent reason. Though the facility is staffed after 23h, this is merely a security guard (so be careful if you have a late arrival).

Il est mentionné sur le site Odalys qu’il n’est pas possible de réserver le parking. A notre arrivée on nous a parlé sur un ton condescendant parce que l’on avait pas réservé le parking. Une personne était au téléphone pour une conversation personnel en même temps qu’elle s’occupait de nous. La chambre est propre, le matelas est très dur à mon goût. Une ampoule dans la salle de bain ne fonctionnait pas, c’était peu lumineux. La piscine est bien, par contre le train passe au près de la vitre de la piscine, le vestiaire est pratique.

Tout proche du tram, c'est pratique. Accueil cordial. Appartement assez grand, surtout la salle de bain. En revanche la baignoire est très étroite. Le logement était propre, mais aurait pu être impeccable. Il y faisait très chaud au mois de mars. L'accès salle de sport et piscine se fait par l'extérieur. La salle de sport comporte 4 appareils, d'une fonctionnalité moyenne (certains dégradés, certains branquebalants, la TV à réparer). La piscine est agréable et l'accès est tardif. Le petit déjeuner est bon et varié. La dame très agréable.

Great price for what’s on offer. Well located and close to public transport options. Parking was fantastic - secure underground and though a slope down, was totally fine for our lowered vehicle if you’re in a road trip.

Firstly, we arrived to a dead bird and a partially eaten rat by the entrance to the grounds of the hotel. Lovely start. Secondly, there are homeless people living about 50m from the hotel entrance. They were quiet in fairness, and kept to themselves, but clearly not the greatest area, being right next to the railway track. Thirdly, we found the bins in our room to be filled with rubbish from the previous tenant, including smelly used nappies, and when we raised this with reception, they refused to empty them and gave us directions to the main bin to empty them ourselves. Finally, and most importantly, there is a serious health and safety risk when putting down the sofa bed, which resulted in a nasty toe injury. I wanted to report this on departure, but there was nobody in reception at 10am. As we left, all the staff, including the receptionist, were outside smoking. We instead reported the issue via Expedia, but the manager has simply responded that no level of refund will be applicable.

La chambre est moyennement propre, des taches au sol notamment. La poubelle de la salle de bain cassée, la bonde de douche cassée et le bouton poussoir pour le pommeau de douche pas loin de se casser. Le personnel est très agréable et sympathique.

L’accueil était correct, et la chambre bien chauffée. Cependant, l’isolation phonique laissait à désirer, particulièrement pour une chambre située à proximité de la voie ferrée. Le mur derrière la tête de lit présentait des traces manifestes de salissures, témoins de séjours antérieurs, ce qui est inacceptable pour un établissement de ce standing (photos à l’appui). Enfin, des résidus d’apéritif, notamment des cacahuètes, étaient visibles au sol derrière la table de nuit, suggérant un manque d’entretien évident (photos également fournies).

Pros:Massively large bathroom and well-stocked-modern.you can open 2 huge windows for circulation. Room is very spacious. Only a 3-minute walk to the tram. Cons: There is no air-conditioning. Regional and freight trains are just 100+ feet away so it is noisy because you have to have windows open. Loud talking and laughing from other rooms because their windows are open.

Accueil compliqué. Serrure électronique non opérationnelle pendant 1 partie du séjour. Heureusement que le jh de l’accueil était efficace et m’a proposé des solutions. Sinon, j’étais dehors. La responsable refusait mon arrivée. Pratiquement sur que Odalys aurait facturé la nuit au motif d’Annulation de dernières minutes, alors que c’était la direction de l’établissement qui me refusait l’hébergement car je n’ai qu’une carte bancaire dématérialisée.

Une excellente halte de deux nuits pour visiter (partiellement !) Lyon. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel où dans un espace intérieur et extérieur vaste, on trouve tout le confort ( le studio occupé bénéficiait en outre d'un balcon et de deux portes-fenêtres). Je n'avais pas le temps de profiter de la piscine ou de la salle de fitness mais j'ai particulièrement apprécié de pouvoir déposer la voiture au parking pour rayonner dans Lyon grâce aux transports en commun nombreux, faciles. Surtout je tiens à signaler l'accueil reçu : chacun dans l'établissement est aussi attentionné que sympathique, tant à la réception qu'en salle de petit-déjeuner. Merci beaucoup.

Clean and comfortable room, nice staff, gym and swimming pool available but I didn’t make use of it as we were very tired. I loved the idea of checking out at 12:00. We love Odalys hotel and will visit again in near future.

Måtte kaste søppelet fra rommet selv, og endte opp med å kjøpe eget dopapir. Var ingen renhold, skifte av håndklær osv, og for å komme til hotellet fra hovedgaten passerte vi en leir av uteliggere som sov i telt rett utenfor hotellet. Likevel alt i alt helt greit, og veldig sentralt. Enkelt å komme seg fra flyplassen og til sentralstasjonen (Gare Part Dieu), og derfra trikk rett til hovedgaten rett ved hotellet. Trikkestoppet Sainte-Blandine er også kun 2 stopp fra t-banenettet i Lyon.

Pros:Massively large bathroom and well-stocked-modern.you can open 2 huge windows for circulation. Room is very spacious. Only a 3-minute walk to the tram. Cons: There is no air-conditioning. Regional and freight trains are just 100+ feet away so it is noisy because you have to have windows open. Loud talking and laughing from other rooms because their windows are open.

Great price for what’s on offer. Well located and close to public transport options. Parking was fantastic - secure underground and though a slope down, was totally fine for our lowered vehicle if you’re in a road trip.

Appartement très calme et bien situé (à 10 mn à pieds de Perrache). Je n'ai mis que 3 étoiles pour la propreté car il y avait un grand fils de poussière qui pendait du plafond et j'ai dû refaire le lit: le drap du dessous était complètement décalé sur un côté et ne pouvait être coincé sous le matelas. Petit déjeuner bien garni et très bon. Un très bon point à la jeune femme qui nous accueillait au petit déjeuner: souriante et toujours un mot gantil.

Quite an ample size room , very comfortable . Not quite cleaned in bathroom. Although plenty of cooking equipment and catering stuff there was no tea or coffee to refresh ourselves and no cafe in the hotel . Breakfast was expensive but very nice . I think it could have been included in the price of the room

Tout proche du tram, c'est pratique. Accueil cordial. Appartement assez grand, surtout la salle de bain. En revanche la baignoire est très étroite. Le logement était propre, mais aurait pu être impeccable. Il y faisait très chaud au mois de mars. L'accès salle de sport et piscine se fait par l'extérieur. La salle de sport comporte 4 appareils, d'une fonctionnalité moyenne (certains dégradés, certains branquebalants, la TV à réparer). La piscine est agréable et l'accès est tardif. Le petit déjeuner est bon et varié. La dame très agréable.

The photos of this room showed a balcony but the room had no balcony. I stayed for 5 nights but had no cleaning, no change of towels. You need to clean the kitchen yourself and take out the trash yourself. Breakfast, extra towel etc will cost you extra. Reception staff was super friendly. Housekeeping not so much. The location was great and the room has a fan. No air condition with was needed in the heatwave.

Not a nice place to spend the night. The hotel seems newer and worn out at the same time! No airconditioning made the one night we booker a defining experience = 4 people at the brink of having heatstrokes. A night to remember but not in a good way.

This seems to be student accom that has been changed to a small basic tourist apartment. One half of the building is for students (campus) and the other is for tourists. As such it is functional without much ambiance. But it’s well located close to a tramline and metro. The main train line runs next to the building which is quite ugly but doesn’t really cause too much noise. And it is easy distance to explore the centre of Lyon and the historical old town. The local restaurants are good and small supermarket nearby. The Saone river with all the restaurant boats is a few blocks away. There are also a pile of homeless people just outside the front door living under the railway bridge on both sides of the street- lots of junk, very messy and a little intimidating when they have fights amongst themselves but they caused no harm to us. So overall not a great environment but an ok apartment a as d a beautiful city.
