Checked in for the spa cabin and advised the spa was not working . Rate was not adjusted to reflect the amenities provided . Ceiling fan in lounge was very dirty, hairdryer on the wall was broken (covered with tape) and no replacement provided. Towel rail came off wall, crockery was very old and scratched. Exhaust fan in kitchen has no switch to operate (missing) Needs a considerable amount of maintenance to bring this back to good condition . Very disappointed!

Was welcomed by a very friendly hostess, arranged a room suited to our situation. Recommended a fantastic Thai restaurant for dinner. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were very comfortable, shower pressure was strong. Situated pretty much in the centre, walking distance to supermarkets, main street and dining establishments. Had all the amenities we needed. Easy to park. Highly recommend to any travellers.

We stayed one night and could not have wanted a better room. Clean, comfortable and functional with great bedding and large bath towels. The motel is quiet at night with beautiful grounds. Easy walking around Bega and is throughly recommended.

Beautiful grounds , kitchen poorly stocked minimum cooking pots pans and knives etc.could not get stove to work properly, interiors need a total redo. Old weathered furniture and in need of a deep clean.

Check in staff member friendly & helpful. The room was clean, but very tired. Leatherette sofa was all peeling, furniture was chipped & worn & I’m guessing the bed headboard & attached side tables were from the late 80’s given the inbuilt radio. Bed was firm. In short, functional but tired.

Was quoted 181 dollars found out that was american dollars had to pay 280 aus booked for 4 people only 3 beds manager supplied a fold up bed room was not like pictures very very small and outdated got 1 tiny bottle of milk for 3 aduults shower is in the bath very dangerous haven't seen anything like that since the 1960 beds very hard room very small tv small and the good is close to a pub with great meals ripped off by being quoted in amercan dollars beware

Robyn the manager is a wonderful lady. Happy to help in anyway needed. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. 150m to the pub with outstanding food and wine selection. I stay here all the time for work and will keep doing so in the future.

Every time I stay here, the guy on the front desk makes a joke about how long/difficult my name is. Then when I check out I'm told that "my wife" will reconcile the account and send an email later. Then I have to email and chase the receipt that never actually arrives of its own accord. This is the same, neat, clean accommodation it always was and the location is very convenient to Bega township. But the new owners are just not as professional. I guess there's a reason why everyone else from my large organisation stays in Tathra, even though it's further away.

I have been requesting an invoice / receipt for my stay from 3 weeks ago, however even after numerous phone calls, I still haven't received a receipt. The visit was paid for by my work, so a receipt was essential. The chair in the room was very cracked, 3 lights didn't work. I didn't mind as most of the time I was out of the room, however not receiving an invoice is not acceptable and needs to be provided.

The airconditioning circuit was turned off early in the night, and not by us. I have photos proving power to that circuit was cut. Given it was so hot that evening, the only way to at least marginally reduce the inside temperature was to leave the fan on all night, with the bathroom light on as well, it being operated by the same switch. It was almost impossible to sleep, and my 90 year old mother in law also endured an uncomfortable night in the "second bedroom". On calling reception in the night, I was told to leave a message as "we are on the phone", ie every time. My wife & I have encountered this type of power saving on our travels in some parts of Asia, but really, if the cost of electricity is the issue, then raise the cost, ie more than the $185 we paid for one night, or get someone else to manage the place. Oh, and it could do with a properly functioning refridgerator. Please supply the advertised features, or remove them from the list. We expect to get what we pay for in Australia.
