This property is spacious and very clean. Modern kitchen pretty well equipt. I love the plunge pool it was so refreshing and they have an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off before you go inside. Location is convenient to everything if you have a car. You can take taxis around if you don’t have a car. The owner is extremely helpful and has great communication. You just text her with any questions or whatever you need and she answers very quickly and is fast to resolve any issues or offer any help. She has very friendly dogs that live in the property. They are sweet and will escort you to the nearby Fish House restaurant which has absolutely delicious food! I would definitely stay here again. This property has a private dock with Shade for sitting out and watching the boats. There is a kayak to use and a closet with a cooler and beach chairs. My husband and I felt very comfortable here. We will come back. Excellent property. Secluded and private if you don’t want the crowds at the busy hotels this place is wonderful.

First of all you need to know that the property is not on a sandy beach that Aruba is famous for, the waterways in front of the property is cordoned by the Renaissance Island. once you cross the divinding street, there is a patch of sand that leads to a padlocked gate to stairs down to the water - chairs on rocks. It is a boatyard. Beyond that the property is clean with a wonderful garden and a small wading pool. Dogs roam the property (not stray), they are friendly but do sleep on deck chairs leaving them hairy and bark at night or early morning. I recommend renting a car if you stay here, the property is behind the airport, so you have to go by the airport roundabout to visit the main city or good restaurants. The fish house restaurant near the property is within walking distance (3 min) and serves good fish and it is frequented by locals. The inbuilt safe in the property did not work, check-in was easy, the bed was comfortable, but pillows were flat. The rolling bathroom door kept coming off its rails, Bathroom soap and shampoo were from local Aloe plant and good quality. It is in a safe mainly residential area with businesses on the waterfront. Maybe a bus service twice a day. CMart grocery store is approximatley 7 min. drive and the place has fully equipped utensils and Kitchen appliances, Property faces SouthWest, sunset on right side. You will be able to see airplane hangers on the NE side but not much airplane noise (few flights).

Property well-kept and very comfortable. Large kitchen area and room was spacious and super clean. Loved the pools and private "oasis" area. Great resturant across the street. Used the kayak to take a tour around the marina. Will definitely come back!

The private room pool was great. The room was clean, spacious, but a little dim in the main room when the sun went down. Our dishwasher was broken and wasn’t fixed during our stay, so we couldn’t use that. And housekeeping had a surcharge for the week, which I wasn’t aware of on the Travelocity app. The place wasn’t on the beach, ( and we knew that). We had rented a car for the week to drive to whatever beach we wanted. The room had a beach umbrella, which helped with the sun. However, there were no beach chairs provided which made our stay on the beach limited due to the high winds and blowing sand, making it intolerable to lie on the beach using our beach towels that were provided. The dogs were very sweet and well behaved. They did bark sometimes in the early morning. You have to be careful when moving your car to check that they’re not resting under your car, especially at night. But, we loved them. Diva and Bandita were adorable.

We liked how clean it was and that we had a private pool. It was quiet even though we had people staying on either side. Kitchen had the basics needed to manage coffee and lunches Was hard leaving the dogs.. they are well cared for and very well behaved.. Definitely need a car. Although walking down to fish house was really good. Next time we would stay in an upper level suite to get a better view of the sunsets. We were sad having to leave.

Our stay was amazing! We got to experience quiet atmosphere without a lot of people around. We were close to everything without feeling overwhelmed from the amount of people. The private pier for relaxation was amazing. And to top it off, we felt at home with the dogs around.

Our studio was really compact and cute. Had everything we needed. Only issue was the toilet paper holder and handheld shower sprayer were both barely hanging by a thread on the wall. Once we asked for more towels and toilet paper but did not receive that day and had to ask again next morning. We had our own very tiny pool and there were 2 other community pools which was cool but the tiny one by our room would have been better as a hot tub since so small and there were 2 bigger pools to use. Would def come again tho. Only 5 min from airport. A good restaurant was walking distance on the water. The “beach” across the street was always under water and tiny but covered deck on water with hammocks was really nice. Having a kayak to use was a nice bonus.

We stayed in a mini suite in the back part of the property. The design of the suite was very thoughtful. Each small item in the suite was something a guest would likely need but nothing more. It was set up just right for a compact space. There is a fridge/freezer, cooktop, microwave/oven, dishwasher so that you can cook in the suite. There are also exactly what dishes, pots, pans, utensils you will need and nothing more. Each of the small suites at the back have their own small private pool plus there are two more pools: a large one in the back with a cabana and a medium one in the front. You can use these at any time of the day and there is a freshwater shower to rinse off from the chlorine or from being at a beach. There are 3-4 dogs for adoption that live on the property. They seem a little scary when you first arrive but become friends quickly. We did not have a car but used taxis part of the time (TAS Taxi Address Service) does not rip you off but uses published rates. The rest of the time we used e-bikes from Tri-bike Aruba. It takes 15-20 min on e-bike to get to Mangel Halto which is a really nice beach. We snorkelled there and enjoyed looking at all the fish. It was a 15 e-bike ride to get to C-mart which is a great supermarket/everything store that has everything. A 1-2 minute walk down the road takes you to The Fish House which is nice restaurant that we went to several times.

The linens were stained, pillows very flat, dishes were very dirty with a bad smell. There was a two drawer dresser, which was filled with dirty cloths from a previous stay. Overall nice environment with lots of polite dogs who gave you a warm welcome. Extremely windy!

We enjoyed our 10 day stay here in jan 2023. We are a family of 4. The area is quiet, off the beaten path. Rooms are very clean, appliances in excellent condition. The owner is very accomodating and made sure we had what we needed. She also was wonderful about recommending local places to eat and shop. Dock across the way is peaceful and loved watching the sunset there. We are planning to stay again this year.

Unterkunft liegt in einer sehr merkwürdigen Gegend. Das Zimmer war noch schmutzig. Wir hatten schwarze Haare im Bett, an den Gläsern und in der Dusche. Am Pool lagen noch die Sektflaschen vom letzten Besucher.

Property is located near the airport. Room was clean, however, noticed few cockroaches near bathroom sink. Property seems to be close to garbage disposal site. Nice size kitchen and loved rainfall shower head.

I read the reviews of other people staying here and booked it for a week. The moment I checked in, i didn’t want to be there. The place smelled of sewer as soon as you entered and inside it was dirty and just absolutely atrocious.the bathroom was dirty and the sliding door didn’t stay closed. Dogs running around everywhere and barking at all hours, bugs and flies everywhere in our room. I would definitely not stay here again. if I ever come back to Aruba, I will definitely spend a little more and book at a bigger resort to get more cleanliness and better amenities and be much closer to the beach. Although the owners/management were quick to respond if we had questions. I would highly recommend finding a place to stay in Palm Beach. Best area for beaches, restaurants, shopping and just strolling the streets. There is also no private beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Vistalmar Ocean Suites. The suite was clean; the property is amazing and from the beginning of my stay, Angelique was in touch with me. She is very helpful, provides useful information regarding the property and areas to eat, rent chairs, etc. We truly enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back.

NO ONE EVER CAME TO GIVE US NEW TOWELS. I MANAGED TO FIND SOMEONE ONE DAY T0 ASK FOR SOME ALSO THE SINK MADE A LOUD GIRGLING SOUND ALL NIGHT LONG. THE PICTURES WERE ALSO MISLEADING BECUASE ITS NOT EXACTLY "BEACHSIDE" YOU HAVE TO CROSS THE STREET TO GO TO THE DOCK. ITS NOT REALLY A BEACH. ALSO. THERE IS NO PRIVACY WHEN USING THE BATHROOM IN THE EXTREMELY TINY ROOM. IT ONLY HAS A SLIDING DOOR WITH A HUGE GAP THAT HAPPENS TO BE ABOUT 10 INCHES OR CLOSER TO THE BED. AND IF YOU ARE TALLER THE 4'1O" YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE BATHROOM SINK. OR SLIDE PAST IT WITH THE DOOR CLOSED IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 100 LBS. ALSO THERE IS NO LAUNDRY SERVICES OR ROOM SERVICE. IT WAS CLEAN THOUGH. THAT WAS MY FEELINGS ON THAT. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

The private room pool was great. The room was clean, spacious, but a little dim in the main room when the sun went down. Our dishwasher was broken and wasn’t fixed during our stay, so we couldn’t use that. And housekeeping had a surcharge for the week, which I wasn’t aware of on the Travelocity app. The place wasn’t on the beach, ( and we knew that). We had rented a car for the week to drive to whatever beach we wanted. The room had a beach umbrella, which helped with the sun. However, there were no beach chairs provided which made our stay on the beach limited due to the high winds and blowing sand, making it intolerable to lie on the beach using our beach towels that were provided. The dogs were very sweet and well behaved. They did bark sometimes in the early morning. You have to be careful when moving your car to check that they’re not resting under your car, especially at night. But, we loved them. Diva and Bandita were adorable.

We loved our stay at Vistalmar! We enjoyed the private pool, we made use of the well equipped kitchen and sleep great in the comfortable bed! We would return again and highly recommend to anyone who visits Aruba looking for a mini resort with privacy and modesty!

I wish I could give this 20 stars. I can't say enough good things about Vistalmar. The apartments look brand new, super quiet. We had no idea they were fully booked until we saw the cars outside. The hotel cat and dog are the sweetest. We looked forward to seeing them daily. The property is GORGEOUS. I did not want to leave. I guarantee I'll be staying here again if we decide to come back to Aruba. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This was a beautiful unit. I was only there for a night (flight cancellation) but it had everything you would need for a vacation stay, including a small private pool. Being a Monday I wasn't able to enjoy the nearby restaurants but it's nice that they're within walking distance. If there was any disappoint it was the very slow internet. Would not be a good place if you intended to make it a work vacation.

Our studio was really compact and cute. Had everything we needed. Only issue was the toilet paper holder and handheld shower sprayer were both barely hanging by a thread on the wall. Once we asked for more towels and toilet paper but did not receive that day and had to ask again next morning. We had our own very tiny pool and there were 2 other community pools which was cool but the tiny one by our room would have been better as a hot tub since so small and there were 2 bigger pools to use. Would def come again tho. Only 5 min from airport. A good restaurant was walking distance on the water. The “beach” across the street was always under water and tiny but covered deck on water with hammocks was really nice. Having a kayak to use was a nice bonus.

We stayed in a mini suite in the back part of the property. The design of the suite was very thoughtful. Each small item in the suite was something a guest would likely need but nothing more. It was set up just right for a compact space. There is a fridge/freezer, cooktop, microwave/oven, dishwasher so that you can cook in the suite. There are also exactly what dishes, pots, pans, utensils you will need and nothing more. Each of the small suites at the back have their own small private pool plus there are two more pools: a large one in the back with a cabana and a medium one in the front. You can use these at any time of the day and there is a freshwater shower to rinse off from the chlorine or from being at a beach. There are 3-4 dogs for adoption that live on the property. They seem a little scary when you first arrive but become friends quickly. We did not have a car but used taxis part of the time (TAS Taxi Address Service) does not rip you off but uses published rates. The rest of the time we used e-bikes from Tri-bike Aruba. It takes 15-20 min on e-bike to get to Mangel Halto which is a really nice beach. We snorkelled there and enjoyed looking at all the fish. It was a 15 e-bike ride to get to C-mart which is a great supermarket/everything store that has everything. A 1-2 minute walk down the road takes you to The Fish House which is nice restaurant that we went to several times.

Great property with private dipping pools and very nice rooms. Loved everything about the place except the communication at first was quite sketchy and we had no clean pool towels or room towels or toilet paper for a time. They did fix it though so I give them kudos for that.

At very last minute we were told there were 3 dogs on the property. And because it was unannounced, we were forced to pay for the first day even accommodating the premises for 30 minutes to make other reservations which let alone costed thousands of dollars more. This was the perfect spot for me and my boyfriend to choose when going to Aruba. It was nice and quiet, the amenities were more than satisfying with the best shower heads I have ever used… the choice of three different pools with our studio suite were all well kept and very enjoyable with the hammocks and furniture. The dogs were all super friendly and not an annoyance whatsoever. Definitely recommend renting a car when staying here, the parking was no issue at all. Beautiful area and overall an amazing experience. Special thank you to Angelique who was very friendly and accommodating with excellent recommendations with some nice discounts!

This place is very nice. We were disappointed when we found that “Airport Transfer” which was listed as an amenity on the website did not mean free airport to hotel transportation. We found that to be misleading but we coughed it up and paid the $34.00 cab far from the airport to the hotel. Otherwise the place was great. The power went out while we were there but that was not the hotel’s fault. It was out all over the island. However it meant that we couldn’t have lights, coffee in the morning, a hot shower, etc. so I can’t comment on any of those features. But the room was nice, clean and comfortable.

The property was well taken care of, nicely decorated and clean! The owner, Angelique, was wonderful ensuring we had everything we needed as well as recommending local sights to see, places to see and local restaurants. This property was away from the crowded tourist areas which we loved!! You do need to rent a car to get around the island. This is what we wanted to do. We loved sitting on the balcony each morning having our coffee and enjoying the ocean view !! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Aruba. Id love to go back!!

Such a hidden gem!! This property was the perfect end to our stay in Aruba. We wanted to stay somewhere close to the airport and I don’t think you could get closer if you tried! Despite being so close to the airport, the building is remarkably quiet. The best part of our stay was the view and private dock. There is also a walkable restaurant nearby with a beautiful view of the marina. The owners of the property had impeccable communication and were very available. They gave us so much information and were great to deal with and very accommodating. The only con of this place is it’s a bit off the beaten path (although very central so that was nice) and you would need a car or cab. However most places are like this on the island unless you’re staying in the high rise hotels which are so expensive. This place is modern, clean and very comfortable for our family of 3. This property is really off the beaten path on an industrial type of back road. You definitely need a rental car. Lots of stray dogs barking all night and several large dogs on the property. The suite was clean although the bathroom had no ventilation so it was humid and damp. It doesn’t have a “private” beach. It has a fenced in and locked deck across the road, but the water isn’t really suitable for swimming. It’s shallow and weedy with lots of silt covering the weeds because of the boat traffic from the marina down the road. It also backs onto the airport so the planes are constantly flying over, although strangely it wasn’t too noisy. It’s a place you would just use as a base to explore the island, but definitely wouldn’t stay there during the day as there is nothing to do.

The location is a convenient drive to great restaurants and shopping in town and the airport. The was an amazing restaurant just down the road (less than a minute walk) as well. The personal pier was so relaxing with perfect sunset views. And we lovvvvvved the dogs. It was very hard leaving! We would 100% book here again!

First of all you need to know that the property is not on a sandy beach that Aruba is famous for, the waterways in front of the property is cordoned by the Renaissance Island. once you cross the divinding street, there is a patch of sand that leads to a padlocked gate to stairs down to the water - chairs on rocks. It is a boatyard. Beyond that the property is clean with a wonderful garden and a small wading pool. Dogs roam the property (not stray), they are friendly but do sleep on deck chairs leaving them hairy and bark at night or early morning. I recommend renting a car if you stay here, the property is behind the airport, so you have to go by the airport roundabout to visit the main city or good restaurants. The fish house restaurant near the property is within walking distance (3 min) and serves good fish and it is frequented by locals. The inbuilt safe in the property did not work, check-in was easy, the bed was comfortable, but pillows were flat. First of all you need to know that the property is not on a sandy beach that Aruba is famous for, the waterways in front of the property is cordoned by the Renaissance Island. once you cross the divinding street, there is a patch of sand that leads to a padlocked gate to stairs down to the water - chairs on rocks. It is a boatyard. Beyond that the property is clean with a wonderful garden and a small wading pool. Dogs roam the property (not stray), they are friendly but do sleep on deck chairs leaving them hairy and bark at night or early morning. I recommend renting a car if you stay here, the property is behind the airport, so you have to go by the airport roundabout to visit the main city or good restaurants. The fish house restaurant near the property is within walking distance (3 min) and serves good fish and it is frequented by locals. The inbuilt safe in the property did not work, check-in was easy, the bed was comfortable, but pillows were flat. I did a lot of planning for this trip. What I loved most about this property (and what I was looking for), it was off the beaten path and its exclusivity. The private beach access really gave us the chance to decompress without the sensory overload that the resorts had going on. The location of the property itself was pretty central in relation to the downtown area and the southern part of the island. Close to the airport, but wasn't overly noisy. We felt safe. The room was so clean and well set up. Angelique communicated all the quirks and how to's which was very helpful and with all transparency, there are 3 property dogs with tags that are so loving, it was hard to leave them! The Fish House restaurant is in walking distance, very tasty!!! *Side note: I greatly recommend renting a car if you stay here. We got a package through Expedia. We went everywhere and had a blast on the island!!

It was very peaceful and relaxing..,Enjoyed the dogs that were around. Short walk to the very enjoyable fish restaurant at the marina across the way. The cocktails were great and the food good and reasonable… would definitely stay there again:)

Property well-kept and very comfortable. Large kitchen area and room was spacious and super clean. Loved the pools and private "oasis" area. Great resturant across the street. Used the kayak to take a tour around the marina. Will definitely come back!

Room had knifes, forks, spoons, coffee, toaster, pots, pans, bowls, blow dryer, soap, towels, pool but no privacy. Other will walk right by your room Room DID NOT HAVE A SAFE, broken beach umbrella, no beach chairs, no cooler. This was 9 mins from airport. And the beach access is across the road, yes there’s dogs on the property but they are harmless and I would like to think they waited for me when I got home. Overall I improvised. And if your a low maintenance then you’ll have a great time. Be sure to cook your own breakfast, hit the beach with snacks and drinks and make dinner reservations after the sunsets.

The room overall wasn’t bad. We arrived a day earlier than our resort stay so had to book something for one night. The location is less than desirable with no real beach and restaurants nearby. We did have some issues with our TV and one of us took a shower and the next shower didn’t have hot water. There were no instructions in the room so I constantly had to text the lady to ask questions, tv, taxi information, restaurant and shopping. We finally just went to bed so we could wake up and start our vacation the next day at our resort. The bed and linens were just very average/poor quality.

Our studio was really compact and cute. Had everything we needed. Only issue was the toilet paper holder and handheld shower sprayer were both barely hanging by a thread on the wall. Once we asked for more towels and toilet paper but did not receive that day and had to ask again next morning. We had our own very tiny pool and there were 2 other community pools which was cool but the tiny one by our room would have been better as a hot tub since so small and there were 2 bigger pools to use. Would def come again tho. Only 5 min from airport. A good restaurant was walking distance on the water. The “beach” across the street was always under water and tiny but covered deck on water with hammocks was really nice. Having a kayak to use was a nice bonus.

We stayed in a mini suite in the back part of the property. The design of the suite was very thoughtful. Each small item in the suite was something a guest would likely need but nothing more. It was set up just right for a compact space. There is a fridge/freezer, cooktop, microwave/oven, dishwasher so that you can cook in the suite. There are also exactly what dishes, pots, pans, utensils you will need and nothing more. Each of the small suites at the back have their own small private pool plus there are two more pools: a large one in the back with a cabana and a medium one in the front. You can use these at any time of the day and there is a freshwater shower to rinse off from the chlorine or from being at a beach. There are 3-4 dogs for adoption that live on the property. They seem a little scary when you first arrive but become friends quickly. We did not have a car but used taxis part of the time (TAS Taxi Address Service) does not rip you off but uses published rates. The rest of the time we used e-bikes from Tri-bike Aruba. It takes 15-20 min on e-bike to get to Mangel Halto which is a really nice beach. We snorkelled there and enjoyed looking at all the fish. It was a 15 e-bike ride to get to C-mart which is a great supermarket/everything store that has everything. A 1-2 minute walk down the road takes you to The Fish House which is nice restaurant that we went to several times.

We loved our stay here….we rented a car and wanted a place to call “home” while we were in Aruba for a week. The room was clean, private water dock was very nice as well. kitchen was perfect since the we brought our entire family, we were able to make breakfast daily before we head out to our daily adventures.
