Not bad for a lower mid-scale hotel on the beach. Nothing "fancy," although the in-room jacuzzi tub was a nice touch. It worked, but the lights overhead didn't, and it took some time and planning to maximize its use since it took awhile to fill. We visited as the weather started turning colder, so trying to use the heat lead to setting the smoke detector off. (Fortunately, it didn't set the sprinkler off too...) Room service was responsive and provided the extra sheets and towels we needed - once I got the room phone hooked up again, since the outlet plate was disconnected from the wall. In the end, I got a basic room with a tub upgrade and beach view through windows with water spots. Not the worst, not the best.

Good solid place for a budget price. Good view. Kitchenette was lacking in some basics like dishwashing detergent, but had plates sponges etc and we liked the full size fridge. The Murphy bed was easier and more comfy then a sofa bed. Overall it was clean and quiet and I enjoyed our stay.

The room itself wasn’t awful, very outdated but spacious but obviously needed a remodel and maybe some new paint. Room service was nonexistent even when putting out the request to have room serviced. Queeny at the front desk was great, and kind. Although everyone else on shift was very stand offish, and looked like they were doing everything but their job. Playing on their phones or sitting on the couch relaxing. The room wasn’t worth the price we paid. It wasn’t luxury and they had no amenities that were useful for the average guest. Laundry and ice didn’t really make the price worth it lol the view was about the only ‘great’ thing. I think the worse thing was when asking the staff questions they were just either out of it or not interested in helping. One guy was just obviously lazy in any questions or request. He was also the only one who was sitting on the couch with his tablet/laptop out of some sort everytime I saw him. It wasn’t the worse hotel I’ve stayed at, but not something I’d recommend or stay at again.
