Amazing hotel and very conveniently located on Av Liberdade for access to old Lisbon and downtown. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The hotel was very clean and the buffet breakfast was simply amazing with a lot of choices. However, we were upset that the indoor pool wasn't accessible to children after 12:00.

The Epic Sana is a 5 Star A+ hotel. The staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful with whatever you need, restaurants, guides, spa, etc. The inclusive breakfast has so many choices we didn't know how we would find room for lunch! Two pools, one of the roof and one in the basement with the spa and gym. It was a wonderful vacation stay in the middle of an urban city.

Beautiful hotel, breakfast was excellent. Staff are nice. They close their pool too early, rooftop at 19:00 spa pool at 21:00. Many hotels have their pool open till 23:00 and considering Sun is up till 22:00 in Lisbon, it is disappointing not be able to relax at the pool a bit later. The staff and food at the main floor restaurant absolutely disappointing. There was not enough beds around the pool and we needed to be there early in order to get a spot. It is hard to communicate with staff because they are not fluent in English so if you try to explain something to them, they seem confused. Otherwise, we had a really good time and it is a beautiful hotel.

Amazing hotel with superb facilities, especially the rooftop pool. Breakfasts were really good with really polite staff there and also very nice staff by the rooftop pool too. I would however say that the charge for overnight parking is extortionate which is a shame and lead us to try to find alternative parking in nearby places in residential areas which left us feeling a tad unsafe at 5 a.m when we needed to get back to the airport.

Had a lovely stay in Lisbon at the EPIC San Lisboa Hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. Very nice gym/fitness and pool facilities. Only wish the rooftop pool/bar were open for longer hours!

Nice property with lots of amenities, but it can get very crowded. The staff at the spa did not replenish water & cups, clean up dirty towels not being used, and replenish towels very often. Enforcement of hotel policies were very inconsistent between staff and to different people. The bell staff did not help us load or unload luggage. Some people received amazing service, while some did not.

EPIC SANA Lisboa is a beautiful hotel. So many things made it a wonderful experience! The staff were amazing and so attentive - a special mention for Marya in the Scale Bar, for her expertise, smiles and warmth. The breakfast was incredible - such a choice of food and all so wonderfully made and all tasted delicious. We were sad to miss it on our last day due to an early flight. They gave us a breakfast box but it was very disappointing after the incredible breakfast buffet we were used to! Our room was wonderful - we loved the extra touches, the welcome macaroons, the little chocolates left and the facilities. We had a bit of a laugh at the robes, as they were most suited for child size or a small adult, so that could be improved! We had a meal in the Flor-de-Lis restaurant and it was so delicious, and again the staff were so attentive. The spa was fabulous and the gym well-equipped. The rooftop pool was gorgeous and so much outdoor seating, though unfortunately the weather was not good during our visit so we didn’t spend much time on the rooftop! Usually, when we return to a city we stay in a different hotel each time. However, when we return to Lisbon we will most certainly stay here again! It was probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in! Thank you!

A very beautiful hotel, great breakfast and very friendly staff. My first room had a bad smell of sewage and I needed to move though. Also, the water in the shower is having some temperature issues changing from hot to cold. But generally a very good experience.

Definitely NOT a 5 star hotel! The room was ok - on our first night, the room was cleaned in and they left a piece of candy in the side table. The second day I had to call them for the room to be cleaned. The Shower was not super clean either, black spots around the corner which grossed me out. Service was mediocre - I asked for an iron around 11:15pm - the iron came to the room at midnight when I was already sleeping. I asked for an adapter and had to buy my own because they didn’t have one. The breakfast and the team managing it were outstanding. I would not recommend to my family and friends.

This Epic Sana is one of my favourite hotels in Lisbon....The breakfast is wonderful. Flawless. The rooms are modern and comfortable... I like carpet on the floor The one thing the hotel services should do better is to check the sinks and the shower drains regularly......They tend to get clogged easily......and when it happens they get stinky and dirty

Beautiful hotel. We were met by a uniformed doorman, something you don't aways experience. Staff was very language proficient and friendly. The hotel is beautiful and elegant. The only complaint I had was the showerhead in the otherwise beautiful bathroom was dirty, and we didn't get to experience the rooftop pool, as it unexpectedly closed shortly after dark.

We booked the same type room in this hotel for a second stay (1 night) on our last night in Portugal. After having a 5 star experience at this hotel the week of July 1 on the 7th floor and diifferent wing of the hotel, we were put in a room on the second floor on the other side that had many issues: noise from street, very small and cramped space, running/noisy toilet, missing bathroom trashcan, missing sitting chair, and hard bed. They stopped the toilet from making noise by disabling part of its important features so it did not work fully, and brought a trashcan for the bathroom. Overall it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant room. Would only recommend hotel if you can get a high floor and room number 26 and above. Not sure I would ever return based on second experience which was certainly not 5 star.

This is a fine hotel. Our room was lovely, although it took some time to adjust to the "smart home" features. The buffet breakfast is beautiful and sumptuous, and the servers are very attentive. I LOVED the infinity pool and the rooftop bar. I was not as impressed with the actual restaurant menu. The gym facility is good sized with an array of exercise equipment. I did not use the spa or indoor pool area, but they were expansive and gorgeous areas at the hotel. Also a shout out to the helpfulness and professionalism of the front desk staff, especially Marta, and one of our favorite characters was Pedro and his top hat at the front entrance. THANK YOU for a wondeeful stay!

The staff was extremely thoughtful and friendly. The wheelchair accessible room I booked was perfect. It had bars in the roll in shower and by the toilet. Room was large enough to move about easily and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Huge variety of choices from freshly blended juices, fruit, yogurts, eggs, pastries, and the list goes on. Delicious.

The housekeeping is not speaking English; therefore they should immediately report that to their manager who is able to speak English: the cleaning lady arrived at 15:00 we kindly asked her to come back in 5 min. She showed up in 1h, when we were already back to our room. We suggested at 17:00 she said they are going home at that time. So day 1 our room was not cleaned. Second issue we went to the pool at 15:10 and the spa reception didn’t let our child to the indoor pool, saying it is allowed only from 9-12; I would like to highlight that at check in reception never mentioned that to us. As you can imagine we are dealing with a child, who was waiting for this pool time all day long. We had to go to the outside pool, which is cold after you go from the water. Thirdly I was asking three times the reception to ask house keeping to fulfill the hair conditioner, as there was none since the day 1. It was done after my third reminder on a third day. Fourthly nothing was prepared for our child no slippers no bathrobe either at the arrival. Overall they could give us a room facing quite area inside the hotel, and not facing the noise on the road. I would definitely not recommend this hotel for a family stay.

Check process normal however when we asked for maps the desk said they didn’t have any information but went back later and they provided more information had maps. Bed was hard and discomfortable, spa was nice. Service was poor, housekeeping opened my door without knocking while sleep with do not disturb on door, went to talk to front desk about the incident and they didn’t care.

Save yourself the trouble — pick another hotel. 1. They own two hotels in the same city with the exact same name. We went to the wrong one, along with several other lost guests. 2. Asked for early check-in, got a “sure” in messages, but on arrival? No room, no note, no offer to store our bags until I asked. 3. Fifteen minutes after check-in, someone knocks and walks right in while my wife and I are half-dressed. Manager’s response? A half-hearted “sorry” and nothing else. They market “5-star luxury” but deliver “1-star roadside motel” service. Plenty of better options out there — this one’s not worth the risk.

Nice property with lots of amenities, but it can get very crowded. The staff at the spa did not replenish water & cups, clean up dirty towels not being used, and replenish towels very often. Enforcement of hotel policies were very inconsistent between staff and to different people. The bell staff did not help us load or unload luggage. Some people received amazing service, while some did not.

First day 35 degrees in the room the air conditioner didn’t work, The water didn’t run through in the bathroom sink, the reception said we will send someone, no response while we prepared ourselves for a reception, (6:00pm) extremely sweaty we left and asked again, the reception said we will ask again, Next day woken up with drillings in the building at 8:00 am. Next day 3:00 pm, the room not cleaned. The response from the reception: we have until 5:00pm to clean rooms. The next day no toilet paper! Had to use the restaurants bathroom on the 1st floor. Very dissatisfied with a 5 star hotel. I must say that the service in the restaurant during breakfast was The Best! The doormen were also very nice! The reception has to be improved with service! Spa was also veru nice and service minded.

Amazing hotel and very conveniently located on Av Liberdade for access to old Lisbon and downtown. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The hotel was very clean and the buffet breakfast was simply amazing with a lot of choices. However, we were upset that the indoor pool wasn't accessible to children after 12:00.

O hotel é excelente em todos os aspectos. Já fiquei hospedado algumas vezes e vale à pena. Serviço impecável, café da manhã excelente, bem localizado (perto do Shopping Amoreiras. Não fica localizado na área central de Lisboa, mas está a aproximadamente 700m da Praça Marquês de Pombal, onde há estação de metrô. Academia,‘piscinas, bar e restaurante excelentes também. Os quartos são excepcionais no conforto e automação. Recomendo.

Absolutely stunning property, the gem here is the rooftop infinity pool. Service is top notch, with they bringing you a couple fresh bottles of water and a nightly chocolate for turn down service. Their buffet breakfast is worth it, with LOTS of great options to the spread.

The Spa was good. The room wasnt ready at 3pm had to wait for 1.5 hr only to receive the wrong room. Another room was prepare which took another 45 mins!! Not all staff friendly. Information on room and facilities poor. Breakfast good but the rest of the food was terrible, my husband got food poisioning and lost two days of our five day trip plus the loss of time on arrival . All in all a disaster. Will not be returning

Beautiful hotel with a great breakfast. The front desk clerks were professional but lacked enthusiasm. I worked at the Marriot for 4 years as a yong man while studying hospitality management. We had to put on a show and smile, and make the guest feel like they were special. Maybe they're not getting paid enough to make the effort. The breakfast staff was excellent.

We had quite high expectations for Epic Sana and chose the hotel for our wedding anniversary stay in Lisbon. The hotel is quite lovely and we love their breakfast. However, there are a few things we do not like. 1. Our room was not cleaned properly on the day of arrival. Shower and toilet glass walls were pretty dirty. They fixed it after our complain but it is actually the first time we complained about cleanliness of the room in 5 or even 4 star hotels. 2. It is uncomfortable to use a roof top pool with lots of kids jumping, splashing and snorkling at any time of the day without their parents to watch them. There should be special family hours from 10 to 17, so couples may spend relaxing time without noise and splashes all around. 3. Spa is nice but not safe as the floor is completely wet and slippery. Also, they started cleaning in the spa 15 minutes before closing at 20:45 that is not welcoming. 4. Epic Sana was the only hotel in Portugal that has no cava/sparkling wine for breakfast. They offered us a glass of cava for insane 11€!

Perfect Stay and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast! I will highly recommend this hotel! It’s close to the mall and shops. You can take a bolt or uber to Rossio Train Station to visit Sintra for the day.
