Room was fine overall but I was charged for 5 days of full parking in a spot that was partially blocked for entry and exit by a Harley Davidson motorcycle that appeared to be owned by a hotel manager and was left in a non parking spot. Getting into and out of this space with my mid-size rental was extremely difficult and time consuming especially when a car was parked in the next space. I informed management and nothing was done except that a manager assisted us in pulling out after checkout. I requested an adjustment be made to the parking charges to management but the response was only that parking is difficult to find in Cadiz, which it was not as there were numerous public lots. The difficulty with the parking and managements lack of remedying the situation soured what would have been an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

This is a lovely property with really helpful and friendly staff. Location is within an easy walk of everything you want to see in Cádiz. The studio was spacious and comfortable, the rooftop patio was wonderful and there are free laundry machines. We would stay here again.

Great stay at Plaza de la Luz Cádiz. An unusual set up with the accommodation being over five buildings, so reception and breakfast were in different buildings to our room, but close by in the same street. Breakfast buffet included a good selection of hot and cold choices. Word of warning, 99% of bars outside the very centre close between 16.00 and 20.00/20.30, but once open in the evening are full and buzzing, good idea to book a table somewhere.

Great place to stay to explore Cadiz on foot, close to La Caleta beach, the historic quarter, cathedral, castle of San Sebastián and the Mercado de Abastos, central main market. Lots of bars. Right outside is Taberna Casa Manteca famous for its tortillitas camerones. We had the superior double room which was huge, lots of space for two of us, loads of room for all our luggage as we are on a road trip. Stayed three nights, great location, busy but quiet. Parking is limited in an underground garage but if available (can’t reserve) when you get there, it’s 18€ per night which is pretty steep but public parking is 15€ for 24 hours. Rooms and bathroom spotless and well serviced. Very modern. Loved the fact there are loads of USB sockets, very rare in most hotels and we are usually fighting for them. Bathroom spacious and well stocked. Large shower but the small shower head isn’t fixed so if you are a lady who doesn’t want to get your hair wet under the rainfall headevery time you have a shower, you have to hold the small one over you which is a nuisance - probably my one criticism. There was abundant hot water which was excellent considering the water is solar heated, I was expecting it to run out after one shower after I saw the sign saying please use sparingly. Breakfast was ok. We got it cheaper when we booked but I would not have wanted to have paid the full 18€ for it. There was lactose free milk in a jug which made me nervous as someone only needs to mix them up and you cou

There are AC thermostats in each unit but temperature is controlled. If you going in summer, you are in trouble. They told me, every two hours the AC turns off. Not true. Every 5 minutes the AC unit stop running. I was very disappointed because I try to always make sure to select a hotel which specifies they have a/c in each room one can control like this one did..I like to sleep in cold a/c. Although the Apartment was very nice and is in a great location, I won’t come back again. Their staff were kind to refund us the 2nd night which we did not stay due to this a/c issue. Staff had no problem with our refund request.

The room was spacious and clean, with a nice terrace and sea view. The only slight criticism is a lack of drawer storage, so we had to stack clothes on the wardrobe shelves. The breakfast was very good, with both cooked and cold options. The location is excellent. Very close to the beach, with plenty of nice bars and restaurants near by.

Good location, 15 minutes walk from the historic center, bus stop across the street from the hostel and very close to the train station. Small room, beds were quite uncomfortable, and the lack of a mini-fridge in a 34 degree heat outside was a clear minus for us. Also, the room we had was quite noisy being located next to the elevator.

Un muy buen hotel, su ubicación excelente y sobretodo por la relación precio/calidad y servicio. Tuve un fuerte problema por el cual tuve que alargar mi estancia una noche y a pesar de que estaba “sold out” me lograron ayudar resolviendo el problema. Ninguna queja sobre la limpieza.

To start off there were not clear signs as to where the reception area was and we had to make an international phone call which wasnt helpful. We asked around and finally someone pointed to an open door across the street. We inquired where to park the car and were given obtuse directions as well as the staff wasnt as polite. Found parki g on our own by driving around which in Cadiz is a nightmare though not the hotels fault. While the property was very clean. The ac shut off for 4 hours at a time which made sleeping in June uncomfortable.

Una estancia mas que agradable, repitiria si fuese de nuevo a Cadiz. El desayuno bastante bien y completo, muy limpio y con unas azoteas muy chulas con vistas al mar. Lo unico negativo que hay que meter el coche en parking publico de pago si o si, el tema de aparcamiento esta imposible. La mejor zona para comer de Cadiz de mi opinión. Mucho ambiente. Algo negativo que decir, el personal de limpieza varios dias no respeto los horarios de limpieza empezando a llamar a las puertas una hora antes de la hora que se acuerda metiendo prisa para hacer las habitaciones. Deberia haber un cartel para poner si esta ocupada la habitación, ya que entran de repente aun estando tu dentro. Pero como digo repitiria la estancia.

Arriving I pulled up outside for my wife to nip inside and ask the directions for the car park. Minutes later she arrived back with a map and directions, it was less than five minutes away! Check in was easy (we had pre checked in). Our room was in a different block about four doors down in the same street. The room was large with everything we needed including a kitchenette and a separate bathroom. Shower was good and everything really clean. It’s in a great location right in the middle of the old town (fisherman’s area), famous for its Tapas bars. We went on a pre booked Tapas walking tour and all three bars were less than four minutes away. The Cathedral was about ten minutes away, the Caleta beach about four minutes away. We highly recommend this hotel due its location and cleanliness.

Lovely light appartment with a good shower and bathroom. Many restaurants nearby and the advantage of being at the top of town was a short walk to the beach. (La Caleta) Breakfast very good value . I especially liked the selection of fruit juices. Visited jerez and puerto santa Maria while i was there.

Well laid out studio apartment with all eqipment needed - and a nice neighbourhood. The breakfast was excellent too, and so were the staf. Stayed 5 days and enjoyed having a comfortable base. Couch and table/chairs could do with an upgrade to make it 99/100.

Great location and very walkable at all hours. It was close to cultural experiences, the beach and coastline, parks, restaurants. The breakfast was underwhelming however it was very appreciated that there was a kettle and cups as well as a mini fridge in the room.

Location was excellent, right in the heart of old Cadiz. Breakfast that was available was very good. The queen bed was quite comfortable, but the one bedroom unit we had was quite spartan in its furnishings, and we were unable to turn on the heat despite the cold rainy night we were there. So, warm under the covers, but cool in the room.
