Good value, great staff, excellent East Indian cuisine at restaurant and good value breakfast.

Excellent parking and friendly service

The property needs upgrading - paint, windows, electricals, etc. We arrived on a cold, rainy night, and the room heating did not work. The motel has potential.

Parking lot almost tore parts off the bottom of my car. Outside light didn't work. The room was better than the previous one but it's clear that they only painted over the bathroom door mildew & mold. Old, stained and disgusting carpet, stale smell, spider webs in the windows, window handle broken, no wifi network exists. I did notice they're renovating other rooms. Hopefully they replace EVERYTHING. Behind dresser not clean, under bed not clean, dirty coffee table, sticky / dirty desk, dirt and crumbs in the drawers. When half the place is empty maybe do not put guests beside other guests. It seemed like no staff was present after 11pm (except the loud one living in the room beside me). Staff speaking VERY loudly to eachother outside. I could smell their garbage dumpster from 30 feet away. I could say more but I would be typing for another 10 minutes.

Staff excellent. They are trying to renovate and I’m sure it will improve. Didn’t have heat for whole motel. Couldn’t get service tech for another 2-3 weeks. They gave us extra blankets 😊and a portable heater that didn’t work 😢 For the price it was ok. Would check it out again maybe next year

There were 3 thermostats in the room but the temperature was still a very chilly 16 degrees by 4am. The bathroom was even colder. When I told the clerk at checkout, she only asked me if I had turned the heat on...no apology. I like supporting private local establishments but won't be going back and certainly wouldn't recommend Stiles.

Clean, quiet and the staff were wonderful. The food at the Indian restaurant was fantastic.

The owners were fairly new and family owned and run. The reception are seemed a little tired but friendly. The dining room was spotless and they offered a nice selection of East Indian cuisine. The butter chicken was delicious. The servers were lovely but obviously inexperienced and with a little training could ensure a better experience. The surrounding area was beautiful, a lovely little town and close to the Longest Covered Bridge in the World. I would stay there again.

The place was good. The room was a little small. Tv wasn’t working and the internet wasn’t working very well. We slept well which is what really matters. Very friendly people and a great restaurant.

Not clean no soap or shampoos less towels

We didn’t stay as the rooms were dirty and very smelly so I am waiting for my refund to go through. I told the receptionist that it wasn’t her fault. I have stayed in a lot of motels and have never cancelled immediately after I just paid for the room

Have been going there for about 20 years and have watched it go from great to terrible. The room had no heat and it was below zero outside. It was dirty and really dingy. It seems that current owners really dont care about pleasing their guests. It was so bad that i’m sure the owners wouldn’t even stay there.

The rooms had a distinct odor, it may have been the cleaning solution. The carpet was thread bare, the wallpaper and paint were peeling, the sink had rust stains, the towels were very thin and they had the thinnest pillows i have ever seen.

Everyone was very friendly upon arrival. We were excorted to our room were she struggled to open the door. The light switch didnt work but there were two dimly lite lamps. The air was musty and bedding damp. At midnight (and my two family sleeping) I realized the huge black mold patch in room #20 above the bathroom sink to the right. Heat didnt work. Didnt shower due to the mold and safety. I've taken video and pictires for when our road trip is done. Beds were comfy but we brought in our own blankets and pillows. We left 7:15am. Office was locked. Key is locked in the room.

Adequate for a quick overnight stay. Could use a cleaner shower curtain. The carpet was old and smelly. The beds were clean and comfortable enough.

Besides being very old , the rooms had a smell, white towels were stained , did not look clean. The pillows had a smell could not use them! Lights were so dim and felt the room space was dirty could not walk in carpet without footwear!! Overall would call it a Last Chance hotel ( nothing else available)!

The room was falling apart, there was a leak, the blinds didn't even close properly, the bathroom was gross looking, our pillow smelled so strongly of women's perfume we slept without one and the bed was so uncomfortable we were up and out of there hours earlier than planned after a terrible sleep. Will not stay again, I hate to write a bad review like this but the room should be priced at $60 a night not almost $100

Quite with a very comfortable bed.

Lights some were working not all of them,old furniture where stuffing is coming out,bath linens were stained.I called ahead to see if there was a coffee machine in room they said yes and coffee.No none.There is a bit of language barrier there.This establishment was convenient for what i needed and price was reasonable.Would i stay here again yes if these problems were addressed.

The room had a bit of a must to it, almost ans if someone had smoked before my arrival. The curtain rod was completely broken and put back into place.

It's an older motel that seems to have been renovated recently. The room was small and dimly lit, but freshly painted and very clean. Excellent value for a short stay, I'd happily stay again.

Quiet, safe, clean. Inexpensive, but had the essentials... microwave, frig, bathroom, comfortable Queen bed, soft & clean sheets and coverlet, parking, wi-fi. Should have better/thicker bed pillow or two of them.

Stayed at the motel years 15-20 years ago and it was kind of run down, but under new ownership this time it was in good shape and the staff were very pleasant. Clean room, warm shower, great service! We were driving down for a funeral and they even kept the office open after hours for us!

We were charged twice for this room and it was blamed on Expedia "fine print" and Expedia said it was Stiles motel policy. No air conditioning or amenities and no one available for early checkout.We will not be using expedia again for any hotel arrangements. And certainly not this horrible motel.

When we arrived the young lady was amazing, however I found out there is no restaurant onsite which was upsetting. Then the room I go in was shocking the condition, the bed fell apart on me from 1 touch and the plug was sparking. So I ask for a different room. The lady was amazing and helped me switch rooms. I was happy, the only thing was the tv didn't work and with young kids, and a promised movie night this was a big issue for our vacation. I called my husband to see if he could help me, the tv was from the 90s, I told my husband I don't know what to do, I don't want to bother her again. However I called her up, asked her if there was a special trick for the tv, she felt bad and moved us to a third room, this time a lovely sweet and my kids are happy and they enjoyed their movie night! The young lady at the front desk saved our night, and helped this mother keep her sanity lol. The place is under new owner ship and they are working out the old and fixing the broken. Give them time and help them out! They can only go up from here! Customer service saved this review, and kept me from getting too stressed about the situation! Thank you

I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and my experience was subpar from the start. The check-in process was slow and disorganized, with the front desk staff engaging in a lengthy conversation in their native language before attending to me. When I provided my name, they again conferred with each other before assigning me a room. To my dismay, the room contained two double beds, despite my explicit request for a single queen bed. When I brought this to the staff member's attention, she simply shrugged and offered no solution. The room itself was bare-bones, lacking basic amenities like a fridge, coffee maker, and even a restaurant on site (despite the hotel's claims). My partner and I were forced to share a double bed, which was uncomfortable and inconvenient. I'm extremely disappointed in the low standards of this hotel and will not be using hotels.com again.

Late booking. Arrived to no reservation, but owner offered to meet Expedia’s discount price if I cancelled reservation and paid cash. Started to dial Expedia and told Expedia never answers. Continued dialling and reservation “found”. At same time I was asked to write name, address, phone number and sign motel letterhead. Agreed to 5% surcharge to use Visa card used to guarantee reservation. Then told that fridges and microwaves can’t be added to standard rooms (Expedia, please alter listing). Owner gained a star for upgrading me to room with fridge to accommodate medication that needed refrigeration. Room also had sofa, tube tv, but no coffee machine or microwave. Hard bed, clean sheets. Owner told me 3 times to leave key on table and curtains open when I left early (?). No mention of wifi or if restaurant was open for dinner or breakfast. It was a long walk to downtown for dinner. Left early in search of coffee. Read all reviews before booking and decided to chance motel. Won’t return because after a long drive, I don’t want to play registration games.

A good, basic option in the downtown area of this small city. It’s nothing special, but it’s reasonably priced. Restaurant on site. Like all such places, its primary attraction is being able to drive up and park right outside your door, which makes a quick morning exit easy to do.

Decent comfy bed and the wide screen worked for a change. Budget motel, Fast check-in. Police station across the road seems to help provide a quiet neighbourhood.

It was clean, cheap and good location for the boarder. If you just want to sleep and go it’s a good option.

Well located and clean hotel

The bed is very comfortable and the room is impeccably clean. After a day of driving it was nice to walk past the well-documented historical buildings on my way to a variety of restaurants.

Run down, the food in the restaurant was not tasty. Everything too spicy, ordered fish and chips and it was spicy

Clean comfortable room not expensive you could find during your trip between Quebec and east coast , and you could also find delicious restaurant with Indian food there
