As soon as I drove into the driveway I felt welcome, it was like a miniture rainforest eco system. You’re welcomed by owner and shown to your room, which is clean with its own bathroom and a deck thru the balcony door. There is a common area open to all residents to enjoy coffee, tea, hot chocolate as well as a supply of homemade cookies (delicious). Games book or puzzles to while away some quite time I would definitely not hesitate to come back again. Thank you for a nice stay

Lovely grounds, room was pretty good, walls are not sound proof at all, could hear our neighbors without a problem, don’t go planing to do any meals as there is nothing but a microwave and a bar fridge, only dishes are cups and glasses, no cutlery.

Lovely deck and grounds. Very central location to Ganges centre, wineries, cideries, spa, restaurants, pubs, shopping, churches….

We stayed at Wisteria for two nights and had a great time. It is a very clean, cozy and comfortable space. Len greeted us upon our arrival and the check in process was very easy. I had spoken to Len a few days prior as I was having issues with the ferry schedule and he offered solutions to help. The guest house is a short walk to the main area of the island where you can find many stores and restaurants, as well as the Saturday market. We had a great stay and would certainly come back in the future.

the Guest house is very cozy and quiet, the owner and every staff are super friendly and nice. Feel so cozy and like going back to home. Room is very clean, the enviornment is super artistic and nice. There is a cute steve cat there company you all the time. I really like the place and will back again.

A first rate property, in a stunning location full of homely touches (home-made cookies) and kindly offering books to read. The beds are divine and rooms are well equipped. We loved it so much, we booked again while waiting in line for the ferry!

The property is on a side street in Ganges. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, the area is safe as is the entire island, the property shows owner’s care and the room was clean, but it did not work for us. The room we rented was a “studio” room which shared a small patio area with a second “studio” and, to gain some privacy in your room, you had to keep the blinds/curtains closed at wall time. The property has a list of rules provided to you which were no problem for us, but the note posted in the kitchenette area ($40 additional fee if you do not wash and put away the few plates, glasses and cups) felt unwelcoming when taking into consideration the rate we paid for the room. No room cleaning provided during your stay. Overall, not our “cup of tea”, but everybody’s experience may be different.

We enjoyed our week at Wisteria. Our bed and room was comfortable. Steve the cat was always there to greet us. The common area is a great place to have a cookie or a tea/coffee. We sometimes got food to go and enjoyed our meal in the common area. There is a high likelihood of meeting other guests to exchange notes about SSI. The communication with Wisteria was clear that they prefer self check in with many directions of what is expected of guests. We met Kim at check in and Len a few days later. Coming and going as we pleased was nice. The rooms aren’t sound proof so others’ comings and goings also are heard. All in all, it’s a nice place that we’d return to next time in SSI

Wisteria is a fantastic get away, and the atmosphere and amenities are incredibly relaxing. Staff are super nice and informative, and the location is close to the Ganges town. Be sure to say hello to Steve the cat :3 Steve was a great and cuddly host! 11/10 would stay again.

This was a delightful place to stay! Our room was comfortable, dare I say cozy. The hosts were approachable and gave great instructions on the locale and expectations of guests. Our breakfast was fabulous, creative and "not the usual"! The property is gorgeous and within walking distance of the shopping area of Ganges. We will be back, bringing others with us!
