For the price We would expect nicer No elevator. No safety hand rails in shower. Sheets were too tightly tucked and did not come up high enough. Extra blanket would have been nice Nice view unfortunately it was raining so did not use the deck.

Nice clean room and comfy bed. Having to carry everything up the stairs was a bother but staff always offered to help. A pity we could not get ocean facing rooms but it was still a nice place to stay.

The hotel was nice and had beautiful views, but we did not know the dining room was closed for the season. Our room was the first one beside the lobby (room 110) and all the noise from the lobby area bled through our bed wall (e.g. the lobby music, conversations, doors opening and closing and guests using the table and chairs on the other side of our bed wall. The hotel had board games for guests to use and the hot chocolate station with apples was a nice touch. Walkable to centre of Ganges.

We chose this because of the high ratings on cleanliness. That’s of the utmost importance to us. Upon arrival, there were black hairs in the shower so it obviously wasn’t cleaned properly. They did come in and clean it right away. The next day, we came back to the room and the towels were changed but the bathroom floor was dirty (there was mud on the rolled up bath towel and it was still on the floor) AND the bed wasn’t made. I also left a gross stained pillow on the foot of the bed to be replaced. I had to speak to front desk and again they did come and rectify the situation. For the cost, the room should be immaculate and we were grossed out. Also, not q-tips, cotton pads or slippers. Having these simple items would be helpful and expected at this price point. The balcony was cute. Nice view. No noise disturbances but we would not stay at this property again.

This was a beautifully renovated small hotel. Quality linens, pillows and fluffy robes. Spotless rooms. The staff was amazing. Chris went way beyond to ensure our stay was fabulous. The bed was so comfortable and you can walk to all the shops. Make sure to book a room with a patio. Preferably front hotel facing. They have cushioned patio sofa and coffee table. Had many small touches like a espresso machine, 4 pack of chocolate truffles and biscotti cookies left in the room. Housekeeping left a personal note with their favourite spot on the island. Ours mentioned Beddis Beach. We enjoyed several hours there. We will be back.

The pictures on Expedia are misleading. I had a room that did not have a view and had windows placed high, so it was rather dark with no view unless I walked to the windows and looked at the parking lot. Wi-Fi does not work unless you give them your birthday and your email address. The hotel wasn’t busy, I am sure there were better rooms available. But only this Undesirable one listed on Expedia. The bright spot was the staff. Everyone at the front desk and the restaurant were very pleasant and eager to do anything they could to make my stay the best.

We had a room where the door wood not lock for our security. It took over an hour to fix and the maintenance man had to replace the entire lockset. Also both us and our friends in another room have cuts or bruises on our shins from the wood bed frames jutting out. They need to be recessed or replaced. Also you need an elevator. Everything else was fine.

We came very early in the season and appeared initially to be the only occupants. We had some ongoing issues with the TV which was a shame. The view from the room was very good and the staff very responsive. To me, the place has a slightly clinical feel. So, making the place feel a little warmer would be to advantage

The photos of the room showed a couch. There was no couch. The balcony showed a lovely sectional lounge. Instead I got two run of the mill patio chairs and a bistro set with bird poop on the table I had to clean so I could have my dinner. False advertising and price gouging at $500 per night for a so called “deluxe” suite.. not. Shame on you Expedia, I should get a partial refund for this.

Front desk staff were extremely rude and not helpful. We felt that since we booked through Expedia and got a good deal they purposely delayed cleaning our vacant room and caused us alot of unneeded grief and hardship on us for an very important function.. Very negative and unsympathetic attitude...Beautiful location too bad such negative experience.

The hotel looked like it had been recently renovated. Was very nice and modern. The room was great and balcony lovely. A welcome bag was provided and we received cute treats in our room. Staff was more than efficient and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and do not hesitate to visit the pub that is across the road. It is called Moby's and we went twice!!
