The hotel was well situated and we loved the rooftop bar/restaurant where you could have breakfast or dinner. One criticism is the amount of stairs. There was an elevator but it was out-of-order. The hotel did assist with luggage.

Lovely comfy room, with very large comfy bed. Lovely roof top terrace for breakfast and evening drinks or meal. Breakfast choice was great with superb coffee and a wonderful view to the castle. Staff were friendly. May be difficult for the infirm as lots of steps up to rooms, there is a small lift but not sure how helpful it would be. The hotel is in a great central location for exploring Lisbon

Breakfast was wonderful and location is perfect. Walkable to many attractions in Lisbon. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would also recommend grabbing a drink at the rooftop bar as the view was amazing.

There was an unexpected long flight of stairs to get to the elevator, but the staff helped get luggage to the elevator. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice with air conditioning, clean, spacious and a view of Lisboa rooftops. The rooftop deck is where the included breakfast buffet was served. We enjoyed the coffee, food and expansive view which included St. George's Castle on the high hill. The rooftop was also a great place to enjoy a drink in the evening. The location is excellent for walking up the hill for fado, shopping, dining, great views, or to the river area to catch Tram 28, a tour boat or to wander, eat and shop.

A great hotel at a very central place, cozy and hip; fantastic rooftop breakfast; very friendly staff. Without a working elevator, going up the steep stairs of an old building is quite a challenge... and it's tight for 4 people - and pricey, too!

Great location, good service, rooms were well equipped and spacious. Very helpful when we arrived showing us how to get to certain places. The roof top bar was accessible for amazing views but closed for business, the alternative provision for breakfast (in a cafe about 5 minutes away) was great! Lovely food and great service. Be aware that there are steep steps on entering the hotel and they continue throughout so this would not be suitable for the less mobile or people with any lung issues. Theres a very small one man lift once inside the hotel but you need to navigate stairs to reach it.

The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. The elevator doesn't reach the top and is small, but if you don't mind the stairs, this is a great little place to stay, and the view from the rooftop breakfast is to die for.

It was a one night stay and the location was great, easy to find, check in was quick and smooth and the staff was nice, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful (10/10). 2 single beds in a small room, but it had everything we wanted, it was comfortable, very clean and has a roof top view that was amazing. It offered food and drink but we didn’t use it. Elephant in the room is the stairs of the street that you have to go up, but the staff was very keen to help. Get over that and you’ll be very pleasantly surprised.

The room was clean. Although it was not a huge suite, it was enough for a family of four to rest comfortably. Bathroom is spacious. We even got AC, which was surprising. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast on roof-top was super with astounding view of the Castle Jorge and variety of choices. Abrigato!!

The information is misleading, their lobby is not open 24/7. They do leave the key in a locker, but if you need any assistance, you’re on your own. The beds in our room were uncomfortable; the kids beds were incredibly squeaky, and the adult bed was uneven because of old mattresses. Our kids bedsheets were dirty and we had to put a towel over them. Since it was 11 PM there was nobody who we could call to get new sheets. They advertise a rooftop restaurant, which is very nice, unfortunately, they only serve breakfast from 7 to 10 or open late in the evening so the hours are quite limited. They don’t offer hotel services at all (concierge, shuttle service, etc.)

Great, quirky boutique hotel in the heart of town. No lift so need to be aware of the many steps to reach your room with luggage. Not much assistance from staff. Breakfast limited. So, would book without this option as plenty of options to eat outside. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Little noisy as in town. But worth the location as it is so convenient.

Leider wurde nicht ausreichend hingewiesen, das man bis zur Rezeption seinen Koffer 20 Stufen hinauf tragen muss. Zum Aufzug der nur über 10 weitere Stufen nach oben zu erreichen ist, kann man aber nur in den 4 Stock fahren. Wer im 3 oder 5 Stock wohnt muss das Gepäck entweder ein Stockwerk hoch oder hinunter tragen. Das Personal beim Frühstück war nicht wirklich motiviert. Ein “Guten Morgen’ war nicht zu erwarten. Die Teller waren oft schmutzig und man musste aus einem Stapel, einen sauberen heraus suchen. 4 Tage keine Abwechslung beim Frühstück. Immer das gleiche Obst, immer die gleiche Wurst. Tische standen teilweise 30-45min mit schmutzigen Geschirr auf der Terrasse.

This was a great property however there is a big BUT! The bed was awful, I have slept on mattresses on the floor in university that were more comfortable. It can also be a little noisy with the restaurant upstairs but my wife and myself are fine with a lively area. It would be a 5/5 if the bed was even remotely comfortable, it is close to restaurants, shopping, the staff was wonderful and the rooftop restaurant was great but the BED was terrible.

Mixed feelings on this property. There is no lift. SO it wasn't ideal for my family of 4 to have to carry our suitcases to the third floor when we were hot and tired from travel. The rooftop breakfast was amazing. The views were fantastic. It is 7 or 8 stories up with no elevator. This isn't for everyone. The location is in the middle of a lot of shops and restaurants but on this street there is an abandoned building with some homeless people outside (they weren't bothering anyone) so this might not be ideal for everyone. The balcony is cute but tiny and at night it is loud. The shower was lovely but the whole room with one large bed and 2 small beds was super compact and tight. We had 1 night there which was fine for us but more than that and I would have left for somewhere else. This would be a good spot for a younger couple or friends traveling who don't mind the stair situation. But I didn't like it enough to write a review to warn others who may prefer another choice.

The quirky artist deco is fun but not overpowering. We had a very spacious room with very comfortable bed. The location is fabulous right in the centre of Lisbon close to trains and metro and an easy walk to the many sights and restaurants.

Great location for a stay in Lisbon. We only stayed overnight but it was super comfortable and quiet. Our room had Aircon which was a blessing amidst the summer heat. Didn't realise breakfast was included - it wasn't amazing but it was good and kept us going.

The room is standard, it was comfortable enough but it is very tight and there are lots of stairs to get to the room. They will help you carry up your luggage though. The linens could also use an update.

This hotel worked out perfectly for our family. We had a room on the 4th floor with two twin beds for our kids and a king for us, and a small kitchenette. The space was compact, but we were able to unpack and settle in. It is perfectly located within a few steps to two different metro lines and the suburban train line to Sintra. We were able to walk to the Alfama and the riverfront. We enjoyed a glass a wine on the roof deck at the end of each day and breakfast was terrific. I would highly recommend this property, especially for a family.

Gute Lage mittendrin , Zimmer groß und sauber (Familienhilfe) freundliches Personal aber ein paar Kritikpunkte gibt es: Klimaanlage etwas schwach im Zimmer Kühlschrank vorhanden jedoch nicht nicht zum kühlen In den Bewertungen wurde das Frühstück sehr gelobt, fand ich sehr enttäuschend.es war sehr einfach aber ausreichend. Den Tisch muss man selbst abräumen…Aber auch ok Kein Aufzug vorhanden dafür viele Stufen Rooftop Bar Abends haben wir nicht genutzt Empfehlen können wir das Restaurant Allora und das Zero Zero in Lissabon wer gute Qualität und guten Service möchte ist hier absolut richtig beides italienische Restaurants

Finding a room to sleep 4 for our family was tough. This room accommodated a family of four pretty well but it was tight. The room is standard. There are a lot of stairs and the elevator only stops on 2 floors so be prepared for all the stairs. It is also very easy to miss when you arrive, it’s basically in an alley sort off, and we walked past it then had to go back and search to find it. The staff was helpful.

There are a lot of stairs and the elevator only stops on 2 floors so be prepared for all the stairs. It is also very easy to miss when you arrive, it’s basically in an alley sort off, and we walked past it then had to go back and search to find it. The staff was helpful.

There was an unexpected long flight of stairs to get to the elevator, but the staff helped get luggage to the elevator. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice with air conditioning, clean, spacious and a view of Lisboa rooftops. The rooftop deck is where the included breakfast buffet was served. We enjoyed the coffee, food and expansive view which included St. George's Castle on the high hill. The rooftop was also a great place to enjoy a drink in the evening. The location is excellent for walking up the hill for fado, shopping, dining, great views, or to the river area to catch Tram 28, a tour boat or to wander, eat and shop.

The information is misleading, their lobby is not open 24/7. They do leave the key in a locker, but if you need any assistance, you’re on your own. The beds in our room were uncomfortable; the kids beds were incredibly squeaky, and the adult bed was uneven because of old mattresses. Our kids bedsheets were dirty and we had to put a towel over them. Since it was 11 PM there was nobody who we could call to get new sheets. They advertise a rooftop restaurant, which is very nice, unfortunately, they only serve breakfast from 7 to 10 or open late in the evening so the hours are quite limited. They don’t offer hotel services at all (concierge, shuttle service, etc.)

Location was excellent as was the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Room was spacious and rooftop bar was beautiful. Location felt super safe given how close it is to Rossio square. We did have a small issue with our room which be brought to the attention of the staff and they were very understanding and accommodating in terms of a resolution. Only drawback would be the amount of stairs if you have mobility issues (however there is a lift once you get up the first floor of stairs). Overall would definitely recommend the Art for your stay is Lisbon! In the heart of everything with great rooms and staff

Yes, Rossio is a good place overall but no reviews talk about the shady part so I am calling it out. Customer service: hard to reach the customer support. Leider wurde nicht ausreichend hingewiesen, das man bis zur Rezeption seinen Koffer 20 Stufen hinauf tragen muss. Die Teller waren oft schmutzig und man musste aus einem Stapel, einen sauberen heraus suchen. 4 Tage keine Abwechslung beim Frühstück. Immer das gleiche Obst, immer die gleiche Wurst. Tische standen teilweise 30-45min mit schmutzigen Geschirr auf der Terrasse.

This is an interesting place: a bit hidden from the street, but nicely set up. The location is great - you can walk to a lot of attractions but it's also close to the metro. The roof top restaurant/bar is great for breakfast. If you are in a room at the front, keep your windows closed as there is a lot of activity on the street at night. I had an early departure and I appreciated the breakfast box delivered to my room early.

Lovely comfy room, with very large comfy bed. Lovely roof top terrace for breakfast and evening drinks or meal. Breakfast choice was great with superb coffee and a wonderful view to the castle. Staff were friendly. May be difficult for the infirm as lots of steps up to rooms, there is a small lift but not sure how helpful it would be. The property is ideally located in the heart of Lisbon. The staff were a little indifferent to our needs. Three of us sharing a room and whilst a little thing the tea and coffee was only set up for two despite asking at reception twice. We replenished our tea bags from the all inclusive breakfast only to find on our return from shopping that housekeeping had had removed them taking us back to only two tea bags for the day! The towels and bedding were clean. Breakfast was poor. Lukewarm and limited hot options particularly for the vegetarian in our group. Basically only egg for her!

The room was clean. Although it was not a huge suite, it was enough for a family of four to rest comfortably. Bathroom is spacious. We even got AC, which was surprising. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast on roof-top was super with astounding view of the Castle Jorge and a variety of choices. Abrigato!!

Lisbon city center is very busy! The location is great and walkable in every direction. There are a lot of stairs which I’m ok with but could challenge some. There is an elevator but it’s only designed for one person. Great rooftop breakfast, fun art throughout, and enjoyed the history displayed in the hallways!

A very nice hotel in the center of Lisbon! Theron was very spacious for 4 persons with a 2 person bed and 2 single beds. Breakfast was very good on the rooftop with magnificent views over Lisbon. Recommended when you want to stay in the city center in close range of all busses and restaurants. There was a language elevator but not really intended for people. Some rooms are on the 4th or 5th floor.

My main complaint has to do with street singers that did not stop until 12:30 am and very poor noise control within the hotel . Room was spacious and clean however a little touch up paint would go a long way. Breakfast is mid level- quite small selection of eats. The access to the rooftop is not for the faint of heart its quite a trek.

The staff was helpful to carry our luggage upstairs….but, we weren’t aware that there was not elevators and I have back problems. The roof top was beautiful, but difficult for me to reach. Breakfast was great. The room was nice and well decorated.
