New President Hotel Cairo

I love the location, the hotel is in one of my favourite streets in Zamalek, you are spoilt for choice with dining and shopping options. The room is spacious, modern and bright. All facilities are in good condition, I have now found my perfect hotel in Zamalek. Location, staff and facilities are fantastic and at an affordable price. There isn't a restaurant on site but there are so many cafes around the hotel, a minute walk away.

Lovely hotel, great breakfast, gym was well equipped. Neighborhood is safe with lots of restaurants within walking distance.

The staff were lovely including the front desk, bag attendants and cleaning staff This is a good base for people visiting Cairo and Zamalek. The room was so spacious and the king size bed was very comfortable. There is also a restaurant and bar right next door for a quick bite to eat The restaurant for breakfast is also very picturesque and offers fresh omelettes, pancakes etc

Excellent value for money. the room I had at the new president was small but yet renovated with very good mattress. The smile and the professionalism of the lady in charge of the cleaning make a big difference. Everyday I had my coffee and tarte à la mangue at the coffeeshop in the lobby of the main building served by a smiling lady very helpful and caring to start the day on the right foot. I strongly recommend the hotel and the tarte à la mangue.

Clean, safe, modern and friendly mid-class hotel in the middle of Zamalek. I travelled solo as a Scandinavian woman and found the area very safe both day and night. A great base for exploring Cairo. The nearest metro station (the metro is very convenient for getting around the city) is a 5-6 minutes walk away. Also a good selection of restaurants, coffeeshops, breakfast places and bars around. If you don't fancy going out at night there is an italian restaurant next to the hotel lobby with indoor and ourdoor seating. Will stay again next time I go to Cairo.

We stayed several days at the New President, and we were so happy with the hotel staff - all were very genuinely friendly and nice and care about providing exceptional service. The rooms were very modern and clean, and the location was perfect, in a very safe part of Cairo - we never got hassled or had any problems walking around at night, and there are many nice cafes and restaurants in the area. It was also nice to have access to a gym, which had nice views over the skyline. We will definitely be back in the future, happy to recommend !

Wir waren super zufrieden mit dem Hotel, dem Service und der Lage der Unterkunft. Das Viertel ist im Vergleich zu anderen Gegenden der Stadt sehr sicher und gut gepflegt, da sich dort die meisten Botschaften und private Schulen befinden. Mit dem Lärm der Straße muss man umgehen können, aber Oropax helfen in dem Fall, dass das Zimmer in Richtung Straße liegt, super. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Unterkunft sehr sauber und das Personal super zuvorkommend und bemüht. Das Gym vom President Hotel nebenan kann frei genutzt werden und hat einen tollen Blick über die Stadt. Das Spa dort ist im Übrigen auch sehr zu empfehlen! Fazit: Preis-Leistung super - wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Simply excellent. Staff are phenomenal, everything form the location, amenities, breakfast, general location and of course design - 10/ 10. I live in London and this exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be back to cairo- and I will stay here. Thats for sure. Thank you to everyone who made my stay memorable and more importantly relaxing and problem free!

Tolles Frühstücksbuffet, große Zimmer, sehr nettes Personal. Wir haben Abends immer gerne unten in der Bar/Restaurant gegessen. Gegend ist bestimmt sicher (Botschaftsviertel) wir sind allerdings abends im Hotel geblieben

BEWARE: Room had only very cold water in the shower. Asked THREE times at front desk, manager, etc and every time they would say they would send someone to fix and ignore my pleas. Had to shower everyday in almost FREEZING water. Room with very musty odor and suspect mold given that odor as shower leaks onto adjacent wooden floor. Area not safe either especially at night.

The staff were exceptional - very friendly and helpful. Theroom was very clean and quiet and nice beds. In the shower I would recommend they add plastic bath matts or something on the floors as it is marble and very slippery. Almost dangerous. It was a great location and felt very safe.

My husband and I spent five nights at the New President Hotel and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the shower spacious. The location is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood of Zamalek that ensured a good night's sleep, yet only a five minute walk to a main street bustling with shops and restaurants. (And only a few doors down from Cavo, a tiny coffee house that offers great cappuccinos...) We walked from our hotel to the Egyptian Museum and other sites --- it was about a half hour walk --- but we also took Uber whenever we didn't feel like walking anywhere because it's incredibly inexpensive --- our forty-five minute ride out to the Pyramids at Giza was around $10, and anything within Cairo itself never cost more than a couple of dollars. While clean and comfortable rooms and a great location go a long way, it is the people that always make a place memorable. Ahmed, the manager, was incredibly helpful and kind. One night when we returned from a full day visit to the Pyramids and my husband was feeling a bit weak from dehydration, (something he's prone to), I rushed off to buy a big bottle of water from the little market a couple of doors from the hotel. Ahmed insisted on riding up in the elevator with my husband to make sure he made it to our room safely. He made sure we had his card with us whenever we left the hotel in case we needed any assistance, and he even taught me phrases in Arabic when I asked. FABULOUS!

This hotel was a bit misleading in the photos online. We chose it more for location which was perfect. The area is safe and walkable with many dining options nearby. My only complaint about this hotel is that we had an early flight and got no sleep because the smoke detector flashes a bright light in your face all night and then every time the AC turned on and off there was a large grinding in the pipes. The sleep was so bad it was disappointing for the cost of this hotel. Some great things is that they arranged for our early airport transport and even provided a box breakfast. I would only stay again if they fix their pipes otherwise expect no sleep during your stay.

The staff are incredible, they are all genuinely nice and passionate about their jobs. We stayed 3 times during a 2 week Egypt trip (between tours), and they held our luggage and remembered us each time we checked in again. It’s very personal service which I love. Facilities are very modern, well looked after and most importantly, very clean. Perfect location, within 5-15 mins walk of restaurants and cafes in each direction, plus an Italian restaurant downstairs which we didn’t get to visit but was very buzzy. Would come back if we visit Cairo again!

Great location for a visit to Cairo.

We had a really great stay. Location good & a quieter area of Cairo than being in the centre, but only a short cab ride in. Easy journey out to Giza also. Rooms were clean and tidy and staff were all really great. For what we paid it was excellent.

Well located, quite neighborhood and safe area.

I choose this property due to pictures and rating but it was a huge mistake unfortunately. Streets and Street curb in Zamalek area are full of trash and dog excrements (a lot) I am a worldwide traveler I know all hotel and customer services standards, But on this property nothing matching with reality nor with rating on e-net app Never go with kids to this property. I need to summarize from good to poor on this property and area. Restaurant Olive, the pizza was very good and attention was good Hotel Personnel is enthusiastic and committed to guest services but unfortunately the facilities not support the good work from personnel The room inside (only) is under good maintenance Hotel rules are not followed by guest some guest smoke a lot with the room door open I don’t smoke and in some hours I couldn’t breath because the odor to cigarette into my room Zamalek area is not a nice place anymore All is very old and look like forgotten in the time. I can say without doubts is very ugly City and Zamalek area is far away for current rating (Expedia need to send auditor) The hotel building has severe damage by the time AC doesn’t work properly temp never reached less than 23c in 03 days of stay we were lucky for end of winter time I cannot imaging in summer time There are not towels hanger into the bathroom, the shower drain was very low reaching overflow while taking shower (partially plugged) In conclusion this property can reach Hostel level.

We had a great stay at the new president hotel for 4 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even gifted us a fruit platter ome day. Especially when the water used to leak out of the shower cubicle. Only issue was the shower cubicle. A step ledge needs to be added so water doesn't come out everytime one showers. The area Zamalek was safe and we could walk at night without feeling scared. There are so many nice restaurants, cafés and dessert lounges in that area and every few km there were police cars. The breakfast was in the next door hotel and food was good.

Nous avons passé plusieurs nuits au New Predident hôtel et nous le recommandons chaleureusement. Bon quartier, bon accueil et bon service de la part de tout le personnel, mention spéciale à Nada, la femme de chambre. Les chambres sont propres, confortables et bien équipées. Les petits-déjeuners sont proposés dans l’hôtel associé ( Président hôtel ) juste à côté. Servis sous forme de buffet très varié et servis dans un cadre relaxant, les petits-déjeuners sont délicieux. Nous retournerons avec plaisir dans cet établissement si nous revenons au Caire.
