The guest house has a good location at the top of the Ave de Libedade, with good views. It is in a street full of attractive 1920s properties, with a small supermarket close by. Staff were welcoming. It is on the 5th floor with an old fashioned lift. There is a shared kitchen facility for the use of guests

The room was lovely with a great view. It was also spacious as we got a corner room. It's an apartment building with the reception on the 5th floor. David was very friendly. They did have a common kitchen and laundry which you can use. We did not. Location is great.

Passamos apenas uma noite e gostamos bastante do atendimento e das instalações internas. Porém o prédio é muito antigo e o elevador dá um pouco de receio. Também seria interessante se oferecessem café da manhã.

What a nice, cozy, clean, well equipped beautiful jem in a convenient area. Started to check in from a friendly staff, the common area is squeaky clean, it is very comfortable with a washroom.it has a kitchen to share with all the supply that u can make a meal,tea etc.laundry and drying machine use for no charge. My room is very well equipped with kettle, fridge, tea coffee machine.bed and linen is very clean and comfortable, slept sooo good on it. Has a clean private shower and toilet which is not easy to find with this price and area where shower and toilet is usually shared Safe area,very convenient, easy to go for public transportation This guest house is such a pleasant stay❤️❤️

Room was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy, and the attendant was friendly. There was a kitchen area, which is lucky, as we didn't have any forks or chopsticks in our take-out. We were able to borrow a fork and return it.

Cute property, good location. Small room but excellent amenities. Loved the shared kitchen and roof patio access with amazing views (wish it had some seating!). Front desk staff was a lovely gentleman who was so kind, friendly and helpful!

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, also umfallen konnte man nicht. Es war soweit sauber bis unter dem Bett, da lagen leider ganz viele Plastikverpackungen und Staubflusen. Da schlimmste war der schreckliche Geruch, der aus dem Badezimmer Abflussrohren kam (welches so klein war, das man es nur alleine betreten konnte). Wir mussten die Tür zum Badezimmer über Nacht offen lassen und das Fenster ebenso, damit man es aushalten konnte. Dadurch hat man sehr gefroren, weil es ja keine Heizung oder eine richtige Decke gab, es war nur ein Bettlaken verfügbar. Der Geruch verursachte starke Übelkeit, es war unmöglich Nachts überhaupt zu schlafen und nach 4 Nächten, war man völlig übernächtigt und kaputt. Ansonsten war das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Ich würde allerdings nicht noch einmal da übernachten und es auch niemandem weiterempfehlen.

Auch wenn die Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist,hat alles funktioniert. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und verdient ein dickes Lob und ein herzliches Dankeschön.Die Unterkunft ist blitzblank Sauber und die Reinigungkräfte sind Top. Die Lage erlaubt es zu Fuß dieStadt zu erkunden. Unser Fazit wir würden wieder dort buchen.

Sejourt appreciable de par la gentillesse du personnel. Géographiquement bien situé la station de metro a 5 minutes a pieds. Les chambres sont sommaires mais propres. L insonorisation est quasi absente mais l immeuble art deco est bourré de charme.

Small room but clean. Shared kitchen, so you can cook if needed. Location is good. It is very close to Metro and bus stop. I like its old style elevator. If it has a grocery store nearby, it will be good but not controlled by owner 😁。

Lovely room with the most comfiest bed i have ever slept in. Bedding was spotless. As a little suggestion in our room was a dressing table and chair which i think took up too much space, would have been better with a small set of drawers. Also 2 suitcase tables, they where not needed and would make the room feel bigger

We stayed here for 1 night prior to a cruise we had booked. You cannot swing a cat around. It's the smallest room I've ever stayed in. The reason for the poor rating is because the walls are paper thin. We didn't get any sleep. I could hear the person next door showering and even brushing their teeth. There was a family staying and had children and they were constantly slamming doors and kids playing in the hall way and shouting / screaming / talking loudly. The hotel did not intervene. A shame for other guests.

Casa Belmonte was easily one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever experienced! From the spacious and beautiful room, the location, the view, amazing bathroom, the privacy, ease of access and then especially because of the staff. In particular the person at the desk who greeted and helped check in and out, Hugo. He was exceptionally nice, so professional, and right away, I wished my stay was longer since he had so much insight into the city, its sights and insider details about every location. If you have any choice in where you stay and are considering this one, do it!! You won’t regret a second of it!
Casa Belmonte was easily one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever experienced! É possível ir andando à diversos pontos turísticos, como avenida Liberdade, Arco da Rua Augusta e outros. I am so happy I found this gem of a property, in a fantastic location in my price range. It was easy to find from the metro, a 5 min level walk from Marquês de Pombal station, close to multiple bus stops and less than 15 min by taxi, to the airport when I left. The area is clean and safe, the property also is safe and quiet. This was very important to me being a solo female traveler. The property staff are lovely and helpful. I stayed in Alameda suite for 5 nights and it was super comfortable and clean, I slept like a baby and always had hot water and lots of towels when I took a shower, great water pressure too. The room has everything I needed even though it was a small room; fridge, desk, kettle, ability to open the door and get fresh air and an air conditioning/heating unit. My bed was comfy and lots of fresh linens and pillows. I didn't use the kitchen or lounge but they looked really nice. The view from the terrace by the kitchen is stunning, it was a shame there was no outdoor furniture to enjoy it a little more. I will definitely stay at Casa Belmonte when I come back to Lisbon. It was easy to find from the metro, a 5 min level walk from Marquês de Pombal station, close to multiple bus stops and less than 15 min by taxi, to the airport when I left. Great hotel in a great location within a 15 min walk from the main attractions or there is an access to public transport right outside. Staff are extremely friendly which makes the stay even more pleasent. Would defo stay here again.

Ótima localização, muito perto do metro, de pontos de ônibus, padarias, restaurantes, supermercados, lojas, parques e relativamente perto do centro histórico (eu ia a pé até lá). Não é um hotel propriamente, é uma guest house, mas me senti como se estivesse em um hotel, com tudo muito bem pensado e organizado. E quando aluguei o carro, consegui estacionar facilmente nas vagas públicas na avenida do prédio, que são gratuitas à noite, das 19h às 9h. Foi um excelente custo-benefício no geral.

We were able to use the communal kitchen to warm up food we got in the supermarket. We were 5 minutes away from the metro and several bus lines run right in front of the guest house. We had a late flight the day we checked out and we were able to leave our suitcases and enjoy the city. Around the corner there are dining options. We would definitely stay at Casa Belmonte again and we highly recommended it. Obrigada!

Great little room. We had one with a balcony. No food service but a kitchen for your use. Super location , very central with many restaurants and convenience stores all around. Great staff and a real quaint and nice hotel, a pleasure!

Cute property, good location. Small room but excellent amenities. Loved the shared kitchen and roof patio access with amazing views (wish it had some seating!). Front desk staff was a lovely gentleman who was so kind, friendly and helpful!

Bedding bathroom all excellent re cleanliness and freshness. The house is obviously well maintained throughout and decorated well. Air conditioning was good as was the window blinds and patio doors. One drawback was the small size of the room and bathroom but probably justified by the budget price. Location was excellent adjacent Avenue Liberdade

Small adequate rooms. Great price and an interesting part of the city. We loved the balcony and it was very quiet place to stay for an overnight visit. Staff was very good and answered all our questions and even recommended a good place to eat!
