The place is a small house on a small lot crammed with 8 rooms in a small village amongst a row of houses far away from anything. It is wrongly advertised as being 5.38 km (may be as the crow flies) but actually a 20 min. taxi ride for EU 30.-. On arrival after showing our booking reference the lady informed us that she did not receive booking and it has happened quite often?? Price on Hotel.com was Cdn. 160.- (ca. EU 105.-)plus taxes. She did have a room for EU 235.- available. Like I said the rooms were below any standard one expects. Looking through the various reviews I realize now that this is basically a scam and I can only hope that Hotel.com will reimburse us. This is the first time I ever felt the need to warn anybody re a room.

They tried to scam pretending they didn't get email confirmation from hotels.com and pretending they put me in a more expansive room once arrived. (not true as I booked triple comfort and they put me in double without private toilet). They insisted for 2 nights asking for a supplement to be paid, after I complained to hotels.com they still wanted me to pay a "supplement" and they didn't want to call togheter hotels.com pretending they didn't speak English. Finally we called togheter with loudspeaker a French speaking agent of hotels.com and the owner somehow gave up. Do not pay anything extra after your booking. I hope expedia can investigate such behaviour further, it's a damage for platforms and for the majority of tenants working correctly. I am using hotels.com almost weekly and never experienced such a behavior. If there is ANY issue on prices it should be fixed between owners and hotels.com, not asking the guest addidional money. Everything I wrote is documented in written and can be shown as proof.

Meget svær at finde kl. 24.00 ingen skiltning eller modtagelse. Meget koldt, varmeinstallationer virkede ikke, der var beskidt, og toilettet virkede ikke.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer Wohngegend und die Eigentümerin wohnt mit im Haus. Wir hatten für 5 Personen gebucht, uns wurde vor Ort erklärt, wir hätten nur 2 Betten gebucht und müssten jetzt vor Ort nochmal zusätzlich bezahlen. Wir zeigten ihr unsere Reisebestätigung, aber darauf reagierte sie nicht. Man hat uns eine Dachgeschossetage gezeigt, die durch eine Glaszimmertür zu verschließen war. Im Treppenhaus die Wände waren bemalt mit Buntstiften. Das im Internet abgebildete Bett haben wir nicht gesehen. Die Eigentümerin spricht nur französisch, kein englisch.
