Hi there. I got the keys to check in and the room was not up to standard at all. It smelt really bad, the curtains felt greasy and the sheets were stained yellow. My wife has allergies so I went to reception and asked fur a refund. They told me to respond to you. This is unacceptable and we left and checked in somewhere else. Also the photos online are nothing like the real thing. I am requesting a full refund obviously as I did not stay in that room for more than 2 minutes.

We stayed foe a two week period. The room was comfy if not spacious and clean. Access to the Hotel and the very helpful staff was fine. Improvements they could make; 1. No drawers or cupboards to unpack (living out of bags for two weeks isnt fun) 2. The internet was terrible and there is no excuse for that in 2023

The bathroom was very nice. Rooms are small. Location was convenient for getting around. Property was noisy. Other guests smoking at the bottom of the stairs meant the smoke came.up and filled our room which was horrible. Trucks driving tound the back of the property at 5am was annoying. Food in hotel was average.

Booking was made for myself and my elderly Mum I which Ichose a accessibility room when making the booking. When we arrived at the hotel Wotif had not informed the Hotel when the room was booked resulting in a room being booked upstairs and the hotel was fully booked. Hotel thankfully did some switching around so we were accommodated. Will be booking direct next time.

Friendly check in manager. Clean room. Good offer with drink discount and 20% off food which was good value. Only negative is it’s somewhat noisy with a fair bit of traffic noise. Was a Friday night do that probably didn’t help. Would stay again and just bring ear plugs.
